Chapter 5

Naruto guided Lee and Rias towards the forest where a black bear, a jaguar, a python, an eagle and large centipede surrounded them.

All these animals were the special kind as they lived in areas with higher concentration of nature energy. The largest monster lived near Mt. Infinity, the tallest mountain on the continent. Continent since the other continents hadn't been explored yet.

Lee stood combat ready as he saw the beasts towering over them with their giant bodies of 6 meters.

"Relax guys, they are friends." Naruto laughed as he walked forward for the beasts to tackle him

These were the beasts that Naruto had adopted since the age of seven and they had followed him from that day as he fought against other beasts, and lived on the bounties of nature.

They were a lot smarter than normal wild beasts as he had been using his chakra on them for so long but the affect wasn't that good like the Inazuka clan since he was just using chakra without any proper intent.

Regardless, they were the strongest of the beasts in this forest and Naruto also had an alligator that was in a lake deep inside the forest.

These beasts treated Naruto as their master/ parent and he understood them clearly after spending so long with them. He was quite good at interacting with beasts and usually played around with them for fun when he spent time in the forest.

Lee watched his new friend get covered by his pets and understand how he got strong.

'If he spent so long inside this place then of course he will get strong.' Lee hadn't thought of this place because it isn't a good place for training for someone his age unless you have some supervision

There were many poisonous insects and plants in this place.

The deeper you went the worst it got and the Forest of Death was supposed to be worse than this because the First Hokage had actually created it personally to train people.

It was filled with trees that were at least 100 meter tall and monsters that ranged from 5 meters to 100 meters.

"I don't think I can train here. You must have a strong poison resistance to train in this place but mine isn't that good yet." Lee spoke up after understanding what might happen

Poison resistance was build up slowly as time went by since one mistake and they could die. It was the basic build of a ninja and Lee hadn't tried messing with something that dangerous. For this he was content with what the teachers administered.

"Don't worry I am not about to dump you here like that. I want you to fight these guys with your weights on and improve your fighting instincts while I go and talk with the third person. After that I will spar with you again before you finish up your training schedule." Naruto explained as he sat on top of his bear and conveyed the message to them

"Oh almost forgot, there are traps inside this section of the forest so fight with caution. If you get hurt too bad, don't worry they will send you to the clinic as they are registered under my name." Naruto was about to leave but stopped to give this warning and jumped away, gliding through the trees

Only the jaguar was registered under his name while the others were a secret.

"Am I going to be training with them as well?" Rias asked as they moved at a moderate pace.

She was really surprised by what she had seen. Naruto had been giving her one surprise after another. With every moment she spent with him, she saw how different he was and the unusual things he was doing.

Rearing so many beasts at such a young age without any apparent assistance wasn't something easy while doing other training procedures.

She could see he was trying to over for all fields in some way as he seemed to also have good knowledge on healing.

"Of course, if you want to become strong than you have to leave such thoughts in your room. For strength you have to put your life at risk or the results would be small and slow. Danger stimulates our body in the best way and my strength is a result of it. And this is nothing compared to when you spar with me. I don't know how you trained back home but, if you want to train with me then you will have to break your body every day.

I don't hold back against anyone, men or women are the same in my eyes." Naruto answered with a smile. His tone was friendly like always but Rias felt something familiar in that tone.

'Akeno' Rias remembered and understood the feeling she had been getting from him. Naruto was a sadist that liked seeing people in pain and fear.

He didn't hate the stares people gave him, he reveled in it.

He was amused by their reactions and even tried to scare them even more as a game.

She thought he was just being childish and doing nothing harmful but now the full picture formed.

'Seeing it like that, he might be worst than Akeno. I hope he doesn't enjoy torture.' Rias thought as she held in her thoughts.

Naruto saw her expressions as she wasn't good enough to hide from him and was happier with Rias.

She wasn't some dumb girl that he needed to dump few days later. He liked people with potential and a brain.

People who were useless to him, he wouldn't waste his time on them.

Having fun and doing business were two different issues.

He could tell she was picking up on the signs. He could have acted like the typical nice guy and seduced the little princess but he didn't enjoy seducing girls with a fake personality anymore.

He was not completely open but the clues were there and many people had missed them before until he them in the face with them.

It is like one of his games and tests for people around him. In this business you have to be perceptive and someone who can't even pick up on the clues was destined to die and backstabbed.

"You don't have to worry. I don't do such things to my friends and family. I am not an insane monster that targets everyone, only those who deserve it. Remember this clearly, mess with me and you get the rod."

Rias nodded as she looked at his expression and he was still looking completely friendly. His tone was so pure and friendly that people would think he was joking.

Rias realized that his tone had never changed even once except their meeting with the Hokage.

Even when he talked to the people in the streets that seemed to hate him. She could see how scary that mask was now.

His emotions and his thoughts were tightly hidden behind his mask. People wouldn't even know when he was actually serious.

'People that smile all the time are insane and messed in the head.' Rias remembered her brother saying those words.

'What about Serafall?'

'She is also a special case of insane.'

'Who called for Levi-tan?'

Moving on from the weird event, Levi-tan was the only other person like Naruto she had seen.

'I might be making conclusions too fast. Time, only with time can I make such a conclusion.' Rias decided not to conclude the topic their because of some clues.

"I will keep that in mind and when do plan to have a proper talk."

"After finishing up the gathering mission for today, we will talk at my house. I need to know things from you and I will share my knowledge." Naruto nodded and his impression of the girl improved a little bit.

He liked people that were smart, skillful, hardworking and brave. He disliked people that refused to change for the better.

While Naruto and Rias were moving around Iruka was called to the Hokage Office for a meeting since the man was like a brother to Naruto.
