Sage makes to leave the house.

"I have made up my mind Allen, I can't stay anymore, I'm sorry" Sage said as she dragged her luggage to the door and Allen trying to stop her from moving any further.

"Come on Sage, why would you leave the house now? You know I've always wanted you here and this house wouldn't be the same without you here. I promise that I won't perturb you anymore just don't leave please sis," Allen begged her almost kneeling.

"I don't want you to continue to beg me like this Allen, I am only leaving because I need some space and it's not about you. I enjoy staying here with you but all times are not the same."

"But where will you be staying? You don't even know anyone in this city apart from your friends and you and I know that none of them can be able to accept you in their house," he said.

"Do you think I would leave this house just to go stay with a friend ? What is the need"? Sage answered.

"I am leaving in order to be alone and that only should tell you that I wouldn't go to my friend's place."

"So tell me then where will you he staying"? Allen insisted while still holding her luggage and stopping her from leaving.

"I don't want to tell you Allen,but I'll let you know once I'm there so you know that I'm in a safe space.I don't want you to worry about me,don't you understand what it means to give someone some personal space"? She asked sounding agitated.

She couldn't take it anymore. She knew how stubborn her brother could be.He got it from their father. Allen wouldn't stop until he gets what he wants. He was always a fighter.

:Look Allen, I am still calm and I'm pleading with you to please come out of my way and let me leave. I don't want us to have frictions because of this," She said looking at him.

"I am not letting you leave this house unless you tell me where you are going to,or preferably you let me take you in my car."

"Hello, is anyone here"? A voice came from outside and Sage knew it was the right time to leave.

Allen opened the door and Philia was standing at the door looking at them and wondering what drama both of them was putting up.

"What are you guys doing standing here"? She asked as she tried to make her way in, and why is your luggage here too"? She asked looking at Sage.

Sage,went back into her room without saying a word to Philia or Allen..

"Just as I expected, she's in a bad mood," Philia said looking at Allen who seemed to be relieved in a way.

"What happened here "? Philia added.

"Your friend is really crazy girl, that's what happened here." Allen said and Philia burst out laughing.

Their house was like a second home to her and she knew she was always welcome to stay for as long as she could , even though the friendship was not as strong as it was from the onset.

"What do you mean?What has she done this time," she said as she sat down in the plastic grey chair right in front of the door.

"She wants to leave the house to God knows where".. Allen said as he sat down too in the next cushion in order to relax a bit.

"What do you mean she wants to leave the house ?Where would she go"?

"I don't really know Philia,:she's inside and she's your friend. You can go right ahead and ask her yourself," He said.

"Allen what did you do to her this time?" Philia said as she stood up and headed towards the room to meet Sage.

"It's always me," Allen added and relaxed his back on the cushion in order to be more comfortable.

:Can I come in,Sage"?

Philia said as she knocked heavily on the door but she got no reply. "Hello, Sage please open the door, I just want us to talk."

Philia stood there for minutes but didn't get any reply, she headed back to the sitting room as she was thinking of leaving, since her friend still doesn't want to see her or open up to her.

"Allen your sister doesn't want to talk to me, I can't force her to do that, so I'd rather leave than waste my time here." She said as she got to the living room.

"Allen can't you hear me"? She said as she drew nearer only to see that he was already asleep.

"Come on wake up Allen," She shouted as she tried to drag him up from the chair. "Your sister is behaving like someone who wants to end her life and you still have the nerve to sleep, tell me what kind of brother does that"? She added amidst chuckles.

"Do you want me to kill myself ,Philia? God knows I'm really trying my best with her but she's so stubborn."

"Just like you," Philia said as she gave him a mischievous look.

"Come on I'm not stubborn,where did you get that"? He said.

"You are but you don't want to see that," she answered. "Anyways I said I'll be going home now because your sister does not want to open the door or talk to me, it's so frustrating."

"Are you sure she's still there?Allen said and immediately rose up and headed towards the room and Philia followed suit.

"Is there any other door she could have followed to leave"? Philia asked looking at Allen who seemed to be really scared.

"Yes the back door," he answered.

"Let me get my keys and open her room, I just hope it's not what I'm thinking," he said as he quickly went to the dinning to get his keys.

"You have to be fast Allen,she couldn't have gone too far if she actually left."

"Sage,Sage,! Allen shouted as he opened the door and found his sister lying on the ground.

"Wake up Sage what did you do"? He said as he lifted her up and she didn't move.

"Come on open the door for me Philia, I have to carry her to my car outside and take her to a hospital real quick."

Allen carried her like a baby and headed towards his car as fast as he could, Philia locked the door with his keys and tagged along with him.

"Sage has really lost it Allen, Philia said as he looked at Allen." He was clearly worried and devastated over Sage.

What could be wrong with Sage? He thought to himself as they drove.
