I Disown You.

"I'm coming back for you, Ariel" Those were Carter's last words before he departed from the attic leaving Alpha Mills dumbfounded while Ariel was only stunned.

Carter has finally lost his mind.

Alpha Mills ran a hand through his hair and gave the door of the attic a hard punch. Carter was lucky he had left if not that punch would have definitely landed on his face.

Ariel kept mute and watched her father transfer his aggression on the innocent door, he was really mad. Carter was about to reject his pumpkin. Avril could never live with the pain of rejection.

Alpha Mills kept throwing frustrated angry punches on the door repeatedly but stopped when Ariel said to him, "He won't reject Avril". 

Alpha Mills turned to face Ariel and Ariel swallowed hard. The way her father's face contorted in fury and his lips trembled with anger scared her. She was learning to stop being scared of him. But now, the look on her father's face scared the life out of her.

"You are to blame for all this" Alpha Mills lunged towards Ariel and grabbed her by the neck, pulling her up from the floor she sat on. "If you hadn't crashed Avril's mating ceremony, then none of this would have happened".

Ariel held her father's hand on her throat and tugged hard on it for him to let go of her, but the old man was too fuming in rage to let go of her. Was her father really going to kill her because of her sister?.

Ariel doesn't exactly know and she prayed to not get murdered by her father.

"Father,..please…let..go" she tugged at her father's hand but the man didn't even bulge nor blink. Her broken arm finally healed up, so she was able to tug hard at her father's hand planning to crush her windpipe.

Alpha Mills ignored his daughter's pleas, he was too vexed up to give a listening ear to her pleas. "You are the f**king reason why Carter wants to reject Avril, wouldn't it be better if you just died, Ariel?".

Ariel was struggling to get her father's tightened grip around her neck off but on hearing that statement, she just let go. Was that really how much her father hated her?. If he was going to kill her because of Avril, then he should go on.

Ariel started to doubt whether Alpha Mills was her birth father or not.

She had seen and heard stories about father's hating their kids and wanting nothing to do with them. And she knows he doesn't like her which also made her want to escape, but the old man wouldn't just let go.

Alpha Mill always had anger control issues but as mad as he was, he wouldn't murder his own pup. He wasn't insane, the tears that slipped off from Ariel's eyes melted his heart and he let her go.

Ariel dropped down to the floor, and rubbed her pained butt softly caused by the way she dropped to the floor. Her throat was reddened and hurting, so her hands travelled around her neck and soothed it.

"As much as I hate you, Ariel. You are still my pup. "Alpha Mill's stated, breathing heavily. "But from now on, I disown you. I no longer see you as my pup anymore" He moved to the door and opened it, walking away before Ariel could utter a word to him.

There was nothing reasonable that would come out of her mouth, so walking out on her was the best option.

Ariel was supposed to scream or cry just like the others would do when their parents disowned them but she didn't. She always knew that this day would come, but what she didn't expect was for it to approach this fast.

But anyways, it still happened. The only thing she had to do now was to sort out her escape plan perfectly. Nothing would ever stop her now. Her father just made things easier for her.

She wasn't welcomed in the Alpha Mills pack house anymore.

Carter walked into his room and threw himself on the top of his bed. Today was one hell of a day and kind of thrilling too. He had done what he had been yearning to do since, so his mind was now finally at ease.

But not that much, his mission was still incomplete. He still had to get Ariel back to his side and make her love him like she did before and this time he wouldn't be a fool to break her heart again.

Carter was crowned Alpha already but being an Alpha without a Luna by his side was kind of useless, so he had to find a Luna and that person would never be Avril.

His mind was really made up now, the only thing that still bothered him now was how he was going to make Avril reject him once he rejected her. And also how to make Ariel love him when he rejects Avril.

It wouldn't be as simple as ABC.

Avril was just someone gifted to him as a mate but you see Ariel, she was more than just his love. She was his life. The others normally find their mates and get fully bonded to them at the age of eighteen, and Carter was twenty now but he was still confused on who to get mated to.

He doesn't know if he wanted to get loved or mated, those were two different things. And if he had the opportunity to meet the moon goddess then he would talk to her and make her allow them to find someone they loved and not just get mated to someone she chose for them.

Ariel had clocked eighteen this year which Carter hoped she would find her mate and if he was lucky enough, then he would be gifted as mate to her but his hope was lost when Avril actually turned out to be his mate.

His mates were getting mated while he was planning to reject his own mate and return to his ex, who he knew from the look of things and the way Ariel glared at him when he was in the attic made it clear to him.

She wasn't going to accept him but he still got to try, you never know what luck has in store for you, until you tried.

"I'm sorry Carter, but I'm never going to reject you" Avril's words rang in Carter's head again as he laid on the bed, he groaned and covered his ears to chase away Avril's words from his head.

Her voice was too disturbing.
