The Story Begins

"You dumb brat where have you been. Theo called me and told me you ran out of the shop before the day. And- and you return now at the break of dawn. *gasp*", uncle Jeran banged his palms on the table *slam* "And who are those two how many times do I have to tell you don't pick up friends from your extravagant runaway adventures." he continued as he entered the kitchen to grab plates and spoons.

(it's true I get into situations like earlier quite a lot but I have only made pacts with - a dark elf and a human. Now adding a elf and a demon. I finally have a party of five that means-)

"Yuno I don't plan on telling you yet. You are still to young and weak", Jeran replied to big grin he could see growing on my face.

"But- but uncle you said"

"Tora, have you even asked the kids if they want to go against the Yamaguchi. When they all agree we'll talk. Now you both in the corner sit down, and have food, I made curry it should be easy to digest." Jeran told us and walked away calling Maximus (Max for short) the dark elf and Larck the human.

The five of us sat there in the middle of the hall. The cool breeze and light from the first break filled the dark room, in which was placed a small candle that danced close to its last step.

"Uhh so I want you all to help me fight against the Yamaguchi. It's your decision but I hope you consider that you can stay here and have full meals with us. Please consider." I put down my request and continued eating.

After I finished eating I went to sleep on the couch and told them they could use my room until the came to a decision.

Three hours later I got up and changed. Checking myself out in the mirror - a young tigress with orange neck-length hair with black stripes; a tan lighter than an earthern pot; wearing a sleaveless top and shorts - I marched out of the house practicing my apology for the owner.

But to my shock she wasn't the angry when I confessed and told her what happened, rather she seemed as though she was fuming with anger. And so I finished my "first" day at work.

I was walking home when a newspaper hit my face. I picked it and gave it a read. I felt my knees turn weak, my arms began to shiver, and my mouth ran dry. The headlines read {The Barrier Of Thoran Disappeared For Fifteen Minutes}.

Just as I regained some strength, I ran back to warn the guys since all of them including me are wanted by the Yamaguchi the only ones I think are powerful enough to make a gaint-ass barrier disappear.

"MAXXXXXXXXX GET EVERYONE INSIDE THE HOUSE IN MY ROOM NOW AND FIND JERAN." *huff* *gasp* "THERE IS YAM IN TOWN", I screamed across the lenght of the lane.

When I made it home jeran locked the door and then we moved into the basement on his command.

"Since they are here, there is not much time before they find us but I need to hear you final decision"

"me and Lar are in. It's the least we can do for your hospitality foe the last couple years." Max affirmed his decision.

"We will also help you against the Yamaguchi. We owe Tora our lives"

"Okay then, hurdle close and I will tell you how Toras' parents died", Jeran said lighting candles.
