Our first met

The first time I met Kai it was storming. You see I'm very bad with directions so I got lost that day. When it suddenly started storming I was trying to find shelter unfortunately when your lost in South Park you might as well forget finding shelter. To make things worse I was running a fever. I was getting very dizzy, the world started to spin. Suddenly the world was falling or was I falling. I could hear the voice of a young boy asking me questions.

"Hey are you ok? Do you need help?" asked the young boy.

"..."

"Can you hear me?" he asked again.

I think I shook my head yes because next he was telling me his name.

"Ok good, my name is Shay. I'm going to take you to my place, is that ok." Shay asked.

"..."

"Ok I'm going to pick you up. Can you walk?" Shay asked.

After that I lost consciousness. When I woke up I was in an unfamiliar place. I tried to remember how I had gotten here but my memory was hazy. A boy about my age was sleeping in a chair next to me. I laid there watching him sleep. He look so peaceful and cute. I wondered just who he was. He suddenly open eyes. Startled I covered my head. When he spoke next I uncovered my head to look at his handsome face.

"Your awake now. How are you feeling." he asked

"Better. Where am I?" I asked.

"Oh your in South Park and this is my house." he said.

"Wait South Park you mean I'm not at North Stream." I said.

"Yes your not at North Stream. Your very lucky it my brother found you. I don't know what would have happened if he hadn't. South Park is a very bad place with lots of gangs." he said

"..."

"You should be more careful there aren't many nice people here." he said

"I know that. What time is it?" I asked.

"It's nearly seven am" he said.

"Oh no, I'm late for school. How do I get back to North River Side?" I asked.

"Go straight and then take a right and keep that way" he said.

"Ok thank you for everything." I said.

I got up out of bed. He took me to the door and I left only to turn around and go back.

"I'm back. I forgot something." I told him.

"What was it? I gave you everything you had on you." he said.

"I forgot to ask you your name." I said.

He laughed but told me his name.

"My name is Kai. What is your name?" he said

"My name is Matthew James but you can call me Matt." I said.

"I like Matthew James better." he said.

"When will we meet again?" I asked.

"It's better if we don't met again. It's not safe here and I'm not welcome where you live." he said.

"Ok. I'll not be back." I said

Unfortunately I thought it was worth the risk to see him again. I couldn't stop thinking about him for weeks. I went to see him again a few weeks later. I got beat for it too but that's a story for tomorrow.
