She wanted him to directly work under her. 

Kwan saw his dreamy eyes and looked at him weirdly. Noticing the weird look that was cast toward him, Goo yoo jin came back to his senses and cleared his voice. He wanted to say something but did not say anything. He just looked at Kwan and simply nodded his head with a huge grin on his face. Upon seeing his facial expression, Kwan raised her eyebrows and squinted her eyes. "What's with this look? I might not be that scary but that doesn't mean I'm not at all scary."

Goo yoo jin again just nodded his head but his grin was nowhere to be seen. Though he was now not as scared as he was before, this woman in front of him was still somewhat scary. To divert her attention away from him, Goo yoo jin asked Kwan about the important work she wanted to discuss with him. He was very curious about it. What kind of work did she have to discuss with him? Generally, it was manager Kim who assigned him to work, as he worked under him. But today he was called by the director of his department to be assigned work. He thought maybe he was called to act as her spy in the department. It would be fun to act as a spy for the ice queen....hehehehehe...

But his adventurous thoughts were interrupted by the boss lady sitting in front of him. She passed him the file she was earlier working on. Goo yoo jin looked at the file with utmost interest and then at the lady boss. He was confused but when Kwan moved her eyebrows hinting to him to open the file, he took the file from her hands and opened it. What he saw inside confused him even more. "Director Park, why are you giving me this file?" Goo yoo jin asked her when he saw the contents of the file in his hand.

Kwan looked down at the file in his hand and then looked back at him. She didn't speak for a few moments. When she saw that the young lad was genuinely confused and couldn't decipher the meaning of her actions, she smiled at his expression. "Isn't it simple? I want you to work on this project with me, as, in my team. I want you to work directly under me. As much as dumb you are, you're smart and efficient in your work and I would love to train you under me and work with you."

Goo yoo jin was very surprised at her words. He thought he was dreaming. Was it true? Director Park wanted him to join his team and work directly under her. He could not believe it. And here he had thought she had asked him to meet her in her office to fire him. He was an idiot but what now? He was blank. He blinked his eyes and then looked down at the file in his hand. It was the file that Kwan had worked on an entire night. The presentation he had prepared for the previous meeting was now presented to him in this file in a more polished form. He looked at Kwan and smiled. "I would love to work under you, director Park. But manager Kim...."

Kwan frowned at his words. What about manager Kim? He would not mind such things. If she asked one of his team members to come and join him, he should not have any problem. And even if he did have any problem. Did she care? The answer was simple, No!

She looked at him with a frown etched on her beautiful face. "What about him? Do you think he would mind my actions?" Kwan asked in a cold voice. Goo yoo jin was taken aback at her sudden chillness and thought she might have taken his words the wrong way. So, he, at the very next moment explained his words in a very open way to avoid any misunderstandings. 'She was right, she was not that scary but she was still scary'.

"I didn't mean it that way, director Park. What I meant is, right now I'm working under him and I've been assigned some work. So..." She knew what he meant, so she just shrugged and without clearing his doubt, she picked up the handphone lying near her hands on her office desk. Punching a few buttons on her phone screen, she then waited for the call to connect. Goo yoo jin just dumbfoundedly looked at her actions and sat there obediently. After a few rings, the call was connected. Kwan heard a manly voice from the other side and wished him good morning in reply. Keeping the call very short, she just asked the man to come and meet her in her cabin right now and cut the call.

After a few minutes, they could hear a soft knock on the cabin door. Getting permission to enter, the man entered the office. When he saw that there were two people present inside the office, he halted his steps and looked back and forth at both of them. Matching the two and two, he could only think of one thing. He furiously looked at the young man and glared at him mercilessly. If looks could kill, then Goo yoo jin would be down beneath the ground. Goo yoo jin was taken aback by the sudden glare directed toward him. He sulked on his own on being accused by his superior of something he didn't even know about.

Kwan too noticed the silent exchange of words between the two but didn't comment anything. She just simply asked manager Kim to sit down on the other visiting chair before her desk, which was just beside Goo yoo jin's chair. Manager Kim ignored the man sitting beside him. He pulled the vacant chair and sat down on it. Goo yoo jin frowned at being treated this way but said nothing. After all, everything would be cleared within a few moments. Manager Kim waited for Kwan to say something. He, just like Goo yoo jin had thought that, he was summoned here because his subordinate had done something wrong.

Kwan looked up at Goo yoo jin and asked him to pass the file in his hand to manager Kim. Goo yoo jin did as he was asked to do and passed the file to manager Kim with both his hands. Kim tae jun frowned but took the file and opened it to look into it. He was a bit confused at first upon seeing the content of the file. But later, he thought director Park wanted his review on this matter. So he started speaking. "Director Park, the content is very detailed. The higher-ups would like this idea. You've worked very hard."

Upon hearing his words, Kwan rolled her eyes and gave him a bored look. Even Goo yoo jin tried his best to hide his bubbling laughter. He feigned coughing to hide his laughter or else his superior would eat him alive, not even caring that they were sitting in director Kwan's cabin. He wanted to live a very long life.

Kim tae jun noticed the bored look of his superior and was embarrassed. He knew he was wrong by the expressions of the people sitting with him. But he couldn't find any other reason for receiving this file. So he asked Kwan for the reason he was summoned into her cabin. Kwan sighed and looked down at the file. She then looked at him and simply pointing towards Goo yoo jin, stated, "I want him to directly work under me. Under me as in, I want him to work in my team under me."
