Chapter 24: Disco

Josh PoV :

I see Iris has started writing about the flash. I should talk with Barry and help him with his single status as the reliable friend I am , also this is too much cliche and I don't like too much drama. I immediately called Barry " Hey man, can you flash your way to jitters, unless you're busy " " no, no I just finished my jobs." He replied.

A few moments later , Barry arrived while I was sipping my latte. " Hey , what's up?" He asked

" sit down , we need to talk" I said in a low and pensive tone." Sure DAD" he said mockingly as he sat down.

I showed him my phone in which an article written by Iris mentioning the flash.

" so what's this about?" I said as if I was a father who caught his son watching po**.

"uhh, I don't know what yore talking about. Iris seems to be taking an interest in the supernatural natural things happening in the city given that she is a journalist." He tried to explain himself.

"So you're not related to this " while pointing to the article " did you confront her? " I asked .

"She may have met the flash". He said in a low tone.

"Barry , I know you like her, he'll even her dad knows you like her, it's just that she is too dense and you are too shy in this matter" i said with a straight face." One day you need to get this stuff sorted out. As a brother I want you to be happy but don't be a simp , like ever." Finished

" I know , but she's dating Eddie" he said ' it's ok he won't be for long' I thought to myself almost grinning slightly feeling bad but it is what it is.

" Fine have it your way. " I said " a small advice , everyone needs someone and there's someone for everyone ".

Felicity came to Central city for Cisco's help to review evidence from the Boomerang . Nothing for me to do so let's take a break and check in my progress.

I still cannot breakthrough my speed limit, it feels as though I have an innate fear that my body will burn up and be destroyed if I went any faster. Looks like I need to take it down a notch and wait for my body to integrate further into the speedforce .

As I went home , I recalled that a metahuman who uses the spectrum of colors to alter the personality would soon come in contact with the flash. It's time to meet Oliver Queen . Obviously he knows about me but i need to make an entrance .

A DAY LATER

"Hey babe, are you working late today ?l I asked on the phone.

" Yeah, I wanted to inform you beforehand but apparently Barry was attacked yesterday when he came across a meta human " she replied

"Attacked, he seemed fine so I take the attack was not on the body " I said pretending to be ignorant.

" yes we thought the same, we are currently making a small plan to undo the effects" Cait said slightly worried about our friend.

" Do you need my help? I can be there as soon as possible." I offered help . Of course not trying to show off my knowledge.

" we are almost done , Dr wells and Felicity helped Cisco , I hope it does the job" she said

" Alright , next time tell me about things like this , don't withhold such issues , I might have a way to pull through " I said feeling guilty about the secrets I was keeping from her.

"I will remember, bye babe" she replied " Bye" I replied before ending the call.

' Mr. Disco , yep I named him , only for my knowledge don't care what Cisco thinks' I thought.

By tomorrow things should settle down , damn how can I let this go . Let's make an entrance.

GENERAL POV :

After a battle with Oliver Queen aka The Green Arrow, subdued the flash for a moment which was enough to turn Barry back to normal.

Josh Pov :

As I see Barry moving towards Caitlin and Dr wells , I stepped in front and punched the living daylight out of Barry . Thank you my dear muscles , feels great to beat him up . Was I enjoying the moment , no one will ever know.

" Hey , I'm back to normal" Barry replied after wincing in pain.

" Sorry, we didn't exactly have a way of knowing when you were silent " I replied with a smirk on my face

"Don't know why , I have a feeling you did that on purpose" he said

" Hey , I was just concerned about my girlfriend and trying to see if a good concussion could also bring you back to normal" I replied lying through the teeth. Holding myself from bursting into glee.

" You must be Oliver or Green Arrow , whatever you prefer " I looked to wards Oliver.

" Oliver please , I know about you from Barry and Felicity . You're doing some great work" he said

" we do what we can " I replied to which he smiled.

Later we took Disco into custody. I planned to use the same tech they used on on Barry and turn him into a better character, it it doesn't work out he won't change into anything worse.
