Lonely Feelings

"why are you shocked" she asked meriam. "nothing madam" meriam said with a broken heart. she wished her family was here because everyday was like her birthday, playing laughing and joy was heard around the house but now everything was over, she had to served to be able to school because her aunty always made her a slave." Mommy am hungry " Rebecca said. "meriam " her aunty shouted." Yes madam "meriam said." make Rebecca something to eat "she said. "okay" meriam said. "And one more thing wash her clothes she has school tomorrow she can't be washing "she added. " but I having test tomorrow aunty ". meriam said hoping she will Parton her. "meriam where are your parents " she said. " they are dead " she said almost breaking down in tears. " Good but Rebecca Mommy and daddy are alive, so don't compare yourself with my daughter now get that through your tight skull" she said. "Okay " meriam said but she was broken by that statement. just because she was a orphan she never had time to herself she was always working and not studying, faced with fears and loneliness, she longed for a home that will comfort her heart. " Right now I feel like my life is useless and I can't hold this pain since I don't have parents my best way out is education, I will bear it till I graduate and make it oneday" meriam said. after that meriam started to put in a lot of effort and work into her studies, she found out that math was actually her favourite subject and singing was her favourite hobbit, since she worked all day it was night she had to study.

Oneday it was a competitive for spelling at their campus and meriam came home with a trophy 🏆 she won the competition and Rebecca lost. it made her aunty furious and she beat her and hit her head with her heels, it was painful for meriam so she passed out and was taken to the hospital. Due to her condition, child rights took meriam from her aunty and she was sent to her uncle to live there. "Don't worry meriam you don't need to work all day just in the night my darling " he said smiling and craving her with his eyes." I don't know what you mean but anyway once I am not working too much I am fine "she said innocently not knowing what harm was involved. her first night was OK but on the fifth night something happened, her uncle entered her room took off his trousers and climbed on her bed and over her, "Uncle what are you doing " she shouted shocked .......
