chapter one Beginnings

The sun set high upon the city of Monrovia. and everyone celebrated with joy and excitement ,for it was the wedding of a couple who were so much in love with each other and they made it their wish to become one family, they had a 13 year old daughter, who wanted to be a doctor and singing was one of her hobbies. Noted for being lovely and calm, their family was perfect. "mommy can I go to the slide" meriam asked her mother." of course my dear" her mother said . "it's late honey let us go now " her father suggested.

so they left without mariam going on the slide, unfortunately for mariam that was her last night having a family, as her dad was driving, the car hit a tree and went down the bridge, luckily for mariam she was in the back seat,so she survived the accident but her parents died from that accident. "where's mommy and daddy "asked mariam looking around the room. "mariam" the nurse called out her name," they're in heaven watching over you from above"she added. "What are you saying "mariam eyes filled with tears asked her. "they're dead "the nurse said lowering her head to the ground. "NO it's not true I can't live without them ,mommy and daddy who will take care of me now,

who are you guys leaving me with "she cried and asked. mariam was released from the hospital and her aunty Deborah came to pay the hospital bills, and her aunty was now responsible for her. Deborah was her father sister who her father cherished and loved when he was alive, she was his little sister and she was a married woman with two daughters. later that day mariam came home with her aunty. "mommy who's this" Rebecca asked her mother frowning.

"she's our house help and also my big brother daughter " her mother responded in front of mariam. "what " mariam Shouted.
