Early Morning. (Continuation of the night from the extras)

Fan Lin was lying down in one of the areas that he had had re-forest while waiting for the Spirit Pagoda staff to inform the city officials about his arrival and upcoming schedule.

The previous night, he had ignored the world and went to deep sleep since he thought he needed it.

But after being startled by a bad dream, he had woken up from his sleep in the soul train. He then flew his way to the Bright City with his new found Soul Saint cultivation realm and his two hundred thousand year old spirit soul skills.

'Fraud.'

From his two spirit souls, he got four skills in total. Out of which, the Ice Jade Scorpion gave him the two skills - Ice Jade Transformation and Jade Death.

Ice Jade Transformation - The Ice Jade Scorpion silhouette that will transform into anything desirable. Long Range, non continuous soul power usage.

Basically a really weakened version of his Crystallokinesis and it required soul power to use. The durability of the transformation was around the same as the body an Ice Jade Scorpion of the equal age.

It could be summoned from anywhere within the Jade Death's domain. Even from inside the beings that were present in his domain because it basically appears in the space that was inside his domain, the ice shards doesn't care if a person appears to have been in the place they were conjured from.

'Kind of an instant death skill if you use it wisely.'

'Or if I didn't have my Crystallokinesis.'

And the rest was as he had told already, it was a weakened version of his Crystallokinesis. It could be freely controlled like solid water and used as long range projectiles or shields or to create blades and S and M or basically anything you can think of.

But the versatility of the Ice Jade Transformation wins by a little margin as he can practically summon it from anywhere if he combined it with the Jade Death skill, both of which consumed his soul power and were pretty impractical when he had the Crystallokinesis.

'Crystallokinesis still wins by a far margin though since it could be used to lift continents easily.'

Hence Ice Jade Transformation didn't added anything to his strength, the same helding true for his Jade Death skill as well.

Except for giving him another means of attack in case his spiritual power was somehow weakened, thus affecting his Crystallokinesis, they served no purpose.

'Like right now.'

And with that, let's come to the second skill.

'Okay this one needs to be changed as well.'

Fan Lin listened to his new soul communicator tone and accepted the call.

{Did you actually sleep? Why weren't you answering my calls?}

Leng Yaozhu's calm voice greeted him with a question. An appropriate question.

"I didn't check my soul communicator after I woke up. Thanks for your support." [Fan Lin]

He said to her while checking through his call logs. Except the call that he had wanted never came.

'Six rom her and two from Gu Yue.'

{That was the deal. When are you going to stop the deaths?}

"By tonight. I am replantating the areas that Qiangu Dongfeng had given me. Let me show my face to the officials here and then I would leave for the coastal areas and stop it." [Fan Lin]

{And do you want me to monitor these areas?}

"You won't ask why I am doing this? You know, planting the areas that Qiangu Dongfeng wants when I showed my indifference yesterday?" [Fan Lin]

He asked her, wondering why she was certain that he would ask her to monitor the areas? And no he wasn't going to ask her to monitor the areas.

{What are getting up to? That I should have used information to get closer to Yun Ming? As I thought, you just know what the others know about me. I truly wonder where you got your information from but you shouldn't completely trust on this. Yun Ming didn't reject me, I gave up him.}

"Why are you telling me this? Do you know what you are sounding like to me?" [Fan Lin]

"I do have something really urgent that I need to talk to you but first, why didn't you snitch me to Yun Ming? Was it the profit that I would bring or something else?"

"Just tell me, I really need to know. Think of it as me being curious."

{It's getting more concerning now? Why do you want to know that?}

"Leave it at that. My spiritual power seem to have weakened, by a lot at that but I feel like my spiritual realm has advanced. In simpler words, I feel extremely weak but better at the same time."

{That's a sign of broken mentality or damage to the spiritual mind. You should not be feeling like you have progressed though. It should be more like you being unable to control your spiritual power to the extent that you previously can}

"I am fine though. My spiritual power control is the same as well, just the quantity seem to have dropped." [Fan Lin]

{I don't think so. Have you introspected your actions that you have taken after your trial. That wasn't how you normally behaved.}

{But since I know your identity, it is really hard for me validate my claims. You have been fooling the world around you since a long time.}

{Anyway, did you check your spiritual power? Considering you spiritual power and realm, you were at the peak of the Spirit Abyss realm(19999), and with your Battle armour headpiece, it was further ascended to the Spirit Domain realm, Just go to any Spirit Pagoda and check your current spiritual power, you can have an exact estimate of your loss then.}

"I will... Qiangu Dongfeng did something to me during my challenge. During my battles, I was under a constant influence of the spiritual interference. That must have damaged me somehow."

{Did you not feel any difference in your spiritual power after you left the Pagoda Headquarters?}

"Nope. I was fine then I went to sleep and when I woke up and was flying to the Bright City, I realised that my spiritual power felt extremely weak compared to what I once had."

{How did you kill all those people if you are like this?}

"How do I recover from this? My strength(Crystallokinesis) have weakened with my spiritual power and what is the feeling of advancement that I am sensing. My senses aren't wrong?"

{Considering Qiangu Dongfeng, it is quite possible of him to do something like this but( not the way you are saying...)}

{Concerning your spiritual power, I can't give a proper diagnosis since I am not present there.}

{My advice would be to check your spiritual power from Healer or Spiritual type specialist within the Pagoda or the Federation and tell them to send your reports to me. If the situation is good, you won't even need to do so since they should be able to help you.}

{But if it isn't, I will inform you about it.}

"Is it possible from me to somehow retain my spiritual realm while my spiritual power has dropped?"

{How do you think spiritual power is graded into different ranks? You have a really high spritual power control, you should know that.}

"My arsenal(Crystallokinesis) once worked on spiritual power and I know how even a single digit increase can vastly affect my strength. It was just a conjecture of mine since I thought it could be a probable reality."

"Let me check my spiritual mind and tell you how the damages are."

"I didn't want to cause any problems, so I waiting for professional advice before doing something myself."

"Did the read the files that I have sent you properly? Or is it the same as last time? Well whatever, I will discretely help her gain supports but announcing it would need some time. At least a month or so since I have something important to do in the meantime."

She cut the call and Fan Lin stored his soul communicator.

He looked at the sun that was rising from the east and checked the time again.

5 am.

"The officials won't come before 7.."

He took out vial and tossed the contents to the nearby ground and left the area.

"Who cares. I am the only one who can plant these."

Four pairs of icy feather wings rose from behind him and he flew into the atmosphere. The other side of the continent being his new destination.

'I almost disregarded this.'

Jade Death - The ability of the Ice Jade Scorpion Queen to travel through the snow without being inhibited by cold, frost, ice, bad weather and storms. Domain type skill.

It was the same as its description stated. It allowed Fan Lin to disregard air resistance and such while flying or moving, thus allowing him a silent and smooth flight at amazing speed.

Once again, not increasing Fan Lin's strength.

'There could be more to this skills and I haven't tried that but for now this was the reality.'

"And no, I didn't tell the truth to Yun Ming."
