Chapter 44 Can\'t Lose Her

DEREK POV:

Have you ever experienced the pain of someone taking away your heart right in front of your eyes when you’re in full consciousness?

Well, I just had.

I never knew that there were still some emotions left in my heart that would give me a heartache like this.

I thought the worst thing of my life would be experiencing my twin brother’s death, but no, seeing Amy covered in blood was more than scarier.

I could feel my whole heart twisting in unbearable pain from the fear of losing her.

No, I can't lose her.

As I reached her, the crowd started to appear around us and instantly I called the ambulance and then held her lifeless body in my arms.

“Amy??” I tried to pat her face lightly, she couldn’t leave me, not at this crucial moment.

I needed to make up for the past, and the things I did. I want to give her an explanation of all the things I did.

I want her to understand.

She can't leave me on a sour note like this.
