Chapter 45 Tragedy

AMY POV:

BEEP … BEEP

The constant noise around me irritated my nerves. I shook my head in frustration trying to get rid of this unfamiliar noise from my ears, but it remained there and got louder with each second.

“Arghh…”

Finally, with all my courage I was able to open my eyes and as soon as my senses came into place I felt a terrible pain in my abdomen which made me whimper loudly.

“Amy?” I heard an exclamation from near me and then the lights flickered open blinding me momentarily.

My hand felt too weak to move as I tried to shield my eyes.

What happened?

A tall figure leaned on me, inspecting me with his silent stare, I blinked as my eyes got relaxed and finally I took in the face of the man, I was expecting the least to see.

And I frowned from the confusion.

Why is he here?

What happened to me?

And where am I?

I tried to open my mouth but it was too dry and sour.
