Chapter 47 Where Love Lies

　　Carina's POV - "Where did you head off to?" Vincent asked.

　　I had gotten off the phone with Damian before he found me. "I told you I was going for a piss."

　　"I thought you just disappeared. I was worried for a bit. C'mon, Iemme show you something." He grabbed hold of my hand.

　　“This way,” He plunged off into the woods.

　　“Where are we going this time?"

　　“Just keep walking." He said. We walked off to some distance. The next thing I heard was "Surprise!" He said it with a great excitement.

　　After minutes of struggling uphill through the dim woods, we stood at the base of a waterfall whose top could not be seen. The

　　wide stream of water plunged into a pool of unevenly rocks, and after recovering itself, it flowed out in a narrow creek, noisy at a sharp angle to the trail we’d taken up.

　　Dense fir forest surronded the little pond. I had to admit to himself that this was worth seeing, and worth the effort.
