Day 5 (III)

She couldn't move and speak. She was stunned by Andrew's sudden proposal.

"Y-Yes. Of course!" She exclaimed and hugged him tightly.

Her tears started to flow while they're hugging each other. I don't know why I'm not crying but I'm definitely happy for them.

"I thought you would cry," Jacob whispered to my right ear.

"I thought it too but don't get me wrong huh?" I said. "I'm happy for them but I just don't feel to cry."

We smiled at each other before we looked back at the couple. They were smiling from ear to ear while swaying at the sweet song.

I remember these two persons falling in love when Haye was in Grade 10. Andrew is older than Haye but they are one of the mature couples that I've known. They lived together under one roof but with Haye's parents and they have trusted them.

"Hey!" Karl caught me and I heard his laughter. I was annoyed by his voice and the sound of his laughter.

"I liked you before but now, I want to throw you on the other side of this resort so that I can't see you anymore," I said with my gritted teeth.

He continued laughing while I was glaring at him.

"You know? You're annoying. If I would have known that you're so annoying, I wouldn't stan RealSeven especially you." I emphasized YOU.

He sat on my left side so I was in between Jacob and Karl. Why Sheena and Axel didn't sit beside me?

"Okay, I'm sorry. You look cute when you're mad at me." He smiled.

I let out a big sigh and made a face at him. He just laughed at me so I just ignored him.

"You're weird," I mumbled. He laughed again.

After the sweet moment of the couple, we decided to watch three different genres of movies. Horror, comedy, and romantic movies.

"Let's watch first the horror movie. Who wants to watch the wrong turn?" Laura asked us.

I frowned at her. "Huh? That's not a horror movie. Let's watch The Conjuring."

We debated what movie we will watch on and at last, we decided to watch a Thai horror movie.

"I'll take my eyeglasses first." I stood up and ran inside the hotel.

I immediately took my eyeglasses then went out to our room.

"Hey." I was startled when I heard somebody's voice. It was Marvin and he's leaning on the wall.

"Why are you here?" I asked before I walked ahead of him. I heard his footsteps behind me.

"Is it obvious that I was waiting for you?" He asked so I faced him.

"No," I replied stupidly.

He put his hands inside his pockets and stared at me.

"Stop staring at me," I said again.

"Why? I'm just appreciating your beauty." He smiled. "Ah! By the way, I want to tell you something."

"What is it?" I asked. We're standing in the center of the lobby.

"I don't know how to tell you this but, I like you." He touched his nape and looked at me.

"You said it already," I uttered.

"Did you hear what I was saying?" He squinted his eyes.

"That you like me? Yeah. Thanks." I smiled. I just don't know how to react to it so I smile at him.

He let out a big sigh. "Didn't you like that?"

"No. I love to hear that. Everyone likes me so I'm good to that." I sounded arrogant. They like me because I'm stupid and gullible.

Is he insane? Or am I living in my fantasy again?

"No. Can't you understand?" He held me on my shoulders. "I like you, Louise. I really do."

I burst out laughing in front of his face. Now, I couldn't stop laughing. Is he on drugs? Why is he suddenly confessed to me?

"I-I'm sorry," I said between my laughter.

"What's funny?" He's still confused.

"Are you in yourself? Do you know what you're saying?" I asked him. "Do you know why I'm laughing? Because you're crazy."

I zipped my mouth like a zipper when I saw his lazy eyes staring at me.

"Does anyone can like you, as I do? Maybe yes." He said. "I feel that my friends are like you, especially Jacob and Ivan. Karl shows you his naughty side just to get your attention."

I'm living my dream. I couldn't imagine this day would come but now, he's in front of me and confessing his feelings towards me.

"Now, Louise can you please stop being childish? I'm being serious here." He said with a serious voice.

Why does his voice sound like a bedroom voice? What am I thinking?

"Okay." I smiled. "Can we please go back to our friends? I really want to watch it with them."

"So what's your answer to my question?" He asked.

"Huh? Is that a question? It's just a confession. Do I have to answer that? Because there's no a question to that." I laughed awkwardly.

"I just want to know if we're on the same path," Marvin muttered.

I fell silent and just stared at him.

"Is it necessary?" I asked. "Because I know you know that I like you but, we're not on the same level. I feel like there are a lot of people who will disagree with our relationship. Maybe your family and of course your fans, some of them will become hindrances to our love story."

"Is that what you think?" I saw a glint of sadness in his eyes.

"We're not in movies or fairytales, Marvin. Let's face the reality that we're not meant to be." I smiled. "And it's too early to confess your feelings. You don't know me that much. What if I'm a bad woman? Or a killer? Or worst a psychopath? So divert your feelings for someone who's with you for a long time." This is what I was waiting for but, reality hits me very hard.

"I was fighting for my dreams and now, I was able to achieve it." He smiled. "I didn't give up to be where I'm right now and I deserved it."

Is he bragging about his achievements? I know he achieved a lot and yes he's fighting for it but, why did he say that? Is it relevant to our topic? You're dumb, Louise.

"As I did in the past, I will do the same fight. I'll fight for you, Louise. I know in my heart that you're a good person, you can't hurt anyone." He said before he left me speechless.

He's really insane.

I followed him and we went back to our friends. They asked me why I took 30 minutes to get my eyeglasses and why I'm with Marvin. I just ignored them and sat between Karl and Jacob.

"He followed you." Jacob blurted out.

"Yeah." I simply said.

We focused on watching the movie. I'm sure some of us will be afraid to go to the bathroom or in the hallway.

"Bah!" Karl caught me again so I couldn't stop myself from punching his right arm.

"Can you please stay away from me? I know you're an idol but who cares? You're also a human so I can kill you anytime." I smiled sweetly at him.

"I'll kill you with my killer smile." He smiled also so I pushed his face very hard.

What a brave fan. I can push, punch, hit, and ignore them.

"It's cringed, Karl. Can you focus on watching it? And if you have time please sit anywhere. I don't want to see your face." I frowned.

He just laughed at me and we're bickering each other again.

"Shhhh." Jacob hushed us.

I hardly nudged Karl with my elbow and glared at him.

"Jacob Hyung is jealous." He mumbled but I heard it very well.

"Just keep your mouth shut, Karl. You're too noisy." I whispered.

"Then kiss me." He pouted and closed his eyes.

"Ewwwww." I pushed his face again.

Everyone around me is crazy, especially this person beside me. They have the same brain cells indeed.

He's teasing me endlessly but, Ignored him. I love watching horror movies but this man is going to my nerves. He keeps touching my hair and sometimes he will rest his hand on the top of my head. My head hurts because of what he's doing.

"Oh! Is it done?" I asked them.

"Yeah and you guys kept flirting with each other." Axel pointing at us.

I sighed heavily and bit my lower lip. I threw a glare at Karl because he's the one who keeps on pestering me.

"You!" I hissed and the next thing I did is I punch him continuously.

"O-Ouch!" He's groaning in pain and at the same time, he's laughing.

"Stop that. He's not your friend, Louise." Haye uttered.

"He's still an idol. What if his fans will be mad at you?" Laura added.

"You easily get hurt when someone is hating you, isn't it?" Coleen muttered.

I stopped punching him and looked at my friends.

"That was before but this time, I don't give a fuck." I said before I choked him but not that very hard.

They looked surprised by what I said. I looked surprised too but I've learned that you shouldn't give satisfaction to those people who keep on hating you. Life is too short to trade barbs to them.

My life is a beauty.

"So childish." I heard Marvin say.

So I stopped and looked at him. He's annoying also. I got back to my place and looked ahead.

"What will be the next movie that we will watch on?" I heard Lovie ask.

"365 days," Laura replied so I immediately looked at her.

Is she serious? Hopefully no.
