Ch 33 - Compression Attack

I take a big gulp of air into my lungs and loudly exhale as I heave and clap my hands together as hard and as loud as I possibly could, and *KRAKOOM* The result was a loud sonic boom followed by a huge vaporous explosion of sound, light, and freezing air.

*CRACKLE*

*BOOM*

This wave of pure destruction mushrooms out as quick as sound itself, freezing and demolishing everything that comes within its path, and since it's a widespread attack, there is no place to run, everything within half a kilometer is immediately reduced to small crushed chunks of ice.

What I did there was truly use the full power of my Limitless technique, I did not name my new technique 'Limitless' only because of the defenses that it provides, similar to the original, my Limitless has an extra feature that allows me to attack my opponents in an extremely destructive fashion.

What I do is I concentrate and compress as much slow energy as I possibly could into my hands, forcing the energy to basically change forms from immaterial photons to a material superfluid.

What I found out is that by using Limitless I can compress the energy so much that when a certain point is reached, the molecules in the air start to become affected and begin to slow down significantly.

This makes the molecules cool down and the elements found in the air form into a near frozen state, however this is not the end, the extraordinary thing about my Limitless, is that it allows me to continue injecting energy(molecules) into such a small space without it backfiring immediately due to the slowing properties of the technique.

Due to this important factor of the outlandish devil fruit power, it basically forms a highly condensed material that keeps on condensing continuously. Creating a huge amount of pressure.

This would normally take huge machines with powerful lasers and complex mechanics in my previous world to accomplish, but here just with my devil fruit powers alone I can easily do it.

Following the pressurizing of freezing air, I then clap as hard and fast as I can, catching more molecules, and pressurizing it even further, and when I finally interact with my other hand, both films of Limitless surrounding my hands come into contact, acting similar to two powerful hydraulic presses that are synched up with each other and intent on crushing whatever is stuck in-between them into nothingness, pressurize the near absolute zero liquid to the extreme.

This squeezes the already pressurized material to the point where it becomes something akin to the legendary superatom of my previous world. A Bose Einstein Condensate.

However, it's not to that point yet, meaning that the effects are much more severe, the freezing is much higher, and the danger level is through the roof.

If I get as strong as Garp I believe that I could possible even create a Hydrogen Bomb In the future using cold fusion, for now though this attack is at a similar level to the Hulks Thunderclap, but with a freezing element added to it.

And just as would be expected of such an attack, the results are disastrous, everywhere around me you can see that the water was frozen and immediately destroyed by the loud sonic boom that my attack produced once I set it off.

Everything within a few meters of me has been turned into a soft powder, similar to snow; and going from there everything else goes from crushed ice to large ice cubes, even the few fish that were caught in the attack were minced and crushed into bloody bits.

Seeing the results I smile, believing that due to the range and speed of the attack (half a second) there was no way that the red-haired Cp agent could have escaped unscathed, she should be nothing more than small chunks of bloody ice by this point, or at least a part of her body should be.

However, contrary to my expectations, I am once again proven totally wrong by a hard kick from behind, right at the base of my skull.

*crack*

Is all I hear as my skull is cracked and my body is sent rag dolling back all the way back towards the island and crashing into a large boulder.

*Boom*

I quickly try to stand up, but I don't get any immediate response from my body. I am considered to be a superhuman, yet as I reach for my head, all that greets me is the crackling noise of bone fragments, and blood.

And not long after I can feel blood pouring out of my nose, ears, and eyes, as well as my internal organs feeling as if they were thrown and regurgitated out of a meat grinder.

I feel like death.

And that's exactly what I believe is about to happen, I'm about to die!

I'm about to die and lose my chance at a life of greatness. I'm about to lose everything, even before I could really get going in this world. I'm going to die soon.

But just as I believed this, something amazing happens, out of nowhere green otherworldly particles of light begin to leave all of the green trees and grass near my position, for as far as the eye can see, and begin to surround my body and slowly entering through all of my bruises, cuts, and lacerations that my body now has.

And something miraculous happens when they make contact with me, they begin to fizzle out slowly and spread warm energy throughout my body, healing me of all of my injuries that I sustained in this crazy fight.

It even begins to heal my fractured skull, giving me back my mental faculties, as well as recharge all of my energy spent throughout the fight, making it seem as if I wasn't ever in a life-threatening situation.

And as I am staring at these wonderful green lights, I hear a soft, feminine voice coming from one of them, "Hey handsome, hope you missed me."

When I hear the voice, the biggest smile I've ever had in my life appears on my face, I quickly reply while laughing "HAHAHAHA Carina! You know that I could kiss you right now? You just fricking saved my life, HAHAHA."

I laugh hysterically, I just survived my first real life near-death experience, where I truly believed I was going to die, and apparently when that happens to me, I become a hysterical Joker. (Situation with Jack the Machete was quickly resolved and no injuries were sustained, so seems mild in comparison)

"Well, what about you return the favor then handsome? I am right at this very moment running and hiding for my life, heee *Boom* *Clatter* phew, yeah, I really need help here as well, so lose that monster redhead and come pick me up fast!" she replies in a hurry, cutting off the connection with the floating green orb immediately afterwards.

Hearing this I immediately make an ugly face, I completely forgot about the danger that Carina is facing at this moment, 3 other Cp agents are there with her, and if they are anywhere near as strong as the redhead, which I highly doubt, evident by her ability to dodge my snow-flake beam which is an attack near the speed of light, while the others not so much, yet they are all still highly dangerous opponents.

I better lose this redhead and retreat in order to regroup with Carina-chan and Porche-chan.

But just as I was about to get up and disappear from this place, I see the waves getting split by an approaching redhead.

This Forces me to instead of fleeing, face the incoming redhead by once again covering myself in Limitless, that thankfully is usable again due to all of my energy being restored, and preparing for another compression attack, but this time a less powerful version, only intending for it to be a distraction to retreat and regroup.

But just as I am preparing for the clapping motion, the redhead suddenly turns her masked head a little to my left and stares at the green floating balls of energy at my side.

She suddenly halts in place, floating above the sea at about 5 feet, and stares for a few seconds longer.

She then turns to me again and replies, "So your friend consumed the fruit...Consider this your lucky day." She blandly says as she immediately disappears in a speed too fast for me to see, towards where Carina-chan and the other Cp agents are located.

Seeing this and guessing what she is about to do I frown even harder and scrunch up my face in an ugly sneer, "You goddamn bitch, keep Carina out of this."

Followed by me using Shave as hard as I can, which is much faster than before, in order to go and protect Carina-chan from this overpowered witch.
