Boat Finding and Jungle Adventures

Ken and Dan are perplexed about what is happening right now. One minute, they are in their room; the next, they are outside on a beach with no memories of how they got here.

Dan: "Are we dreaming? I'm pretty sure we didn't go outside on a beach at all."

Ken: "I don't think so. This seems real, and we can feel the sand on our hands."

Dan looks around and gazes at what he sees. Ken looks in the same direction as him and has gaps.

Dan: "Is that a ship I see, Ken!?"

Ken: "Yeah, I'm seeing it too; let's see if people are on board."

They both ran to the ship to get a closer look. When they arrived, the boat looked like an old Chinese warship with wheels on the bottom. The anchor was dropped, and the sails were folded. When they looked up, they were shocked at the Flag.

Dan: "Hey, is that what I think it is!?"

Ken: "A Wei Empire Flag!"

The Flag bears the symbol of Wei, meaning it is a Wei Empire Flag.

Dan: "Then, does this mean it is an old Wei ship?"

Ken: "Let's take a look inside."

They both climb the ship and board it. They notice that the boat looks empty and go inside. So far, they only see cannons and weapons, not people, food, drinking water, or even a map.

Dan: "Man, this ship is deserted; why is it here anyway?"

Ken: "That's a good question I don't have."

Dan looks around at the weapons and gets excited after seeing something.

Dan: Woo... A bow with arrows and a Dao, I got to have this."

He went there and grabbed them. He looked up close to see that they were in good condition, even the Dao sheath. Ken went to the weapons and picked up a Jian. He pulled it out of its sheath and saw a beautiful shine.

Ken: "This will do nicely."

He then dances while holding the blade and moves with it. He finds it perfect and looks at Dan.

Ken: "Dan, we don't know where we are, but we can't go to sea without food or water, so let's explore the jungle and find some."

Dan: "Good idea; let's go find some food and water."

They both got off the ship and went to the jungle, which was pretty crowded with trees, plants, and leaves. As they both continued walking, Ken looked at the trees and plants.

Ken: "I keep looking at the trees and plants, but I can't figure out what kind they are; it's almost like they are otherworldly."

Dan: "I hear yea, not only that, but I can't feel any wind; it's like it's not here at all."

Ken: "No kidding, something is up with this island."

As they continue walking, they hear a noise entering the jungle. They march further in, and the noise keeps getting louder; when they reach it, they find a waterfall with a vast lake.

Dan: "Water!"

Dan ran up to the lake and took a handful of water and drinks. He started feeling happy at how good the water was. Ken got there and drank some as well.

Ken: "This is some good water; now we have a water source."

As Dan kept drinking water, Ken looked around to see if there were any fruit trees to get food. He then notices something behind some of the trees and looks at it. It seems like there is some stone concrete behind it. Ken then shakes Dan to get his attention.

Dan: "Hmm... What is it, Ken?"

Ken: "Follow me; I see something."

They both started walking, cutting the leaves in their way and finally reached the other side of the trees. They found a ruin made of the stones they saw; an entrance was wide open for anyone to go in.

Dan: "A ruin out in a jungle; do you think there might be treasure there?"

Ken: "Maybe, but we would not need it right now, though I'm curious about what is inside there."

Dan: "Then let's look; I'm sure we will be fine."

Ken nods, and they both start walking inside the ruin, unaware that they will find something that most people in a government would not like others to see.
