Chap 21 INVITE

"And don't think I will trust you easily cause I think you are a shady character"

surprised I asked "What! why?"

"You know , cause you've been blocking the sun from me this whole time. he he he he"

I started chuckling as well. The little thing was laughing at its own joke . It was adorable. I didn't know snails could be this cute.

"So...."

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. just call me turbo. That's what everyone calls me. "

It said as it speeded around me like a biker

"you wanna know what else?"

"What?"

"I also do pUn-believable puns and jokes. not bad for a snail eh? he he" he finished.

"heh Not bad at all turbo. Not bad at all. So how did you come to be here? if you don't mind me asking."

"It's kind of a long story you see"

with a small pause I said "oo..k "

Suddenly he asked "By the way what's your deal. Staying here in this island all by yourself?"

"just stranded here, That's all. You got any way to leave here?"

"Nah. I guess we are stuck here until further notice. Tell you what ,definitely can't go back the way I came here. So.... That's out of the window."

"Damn I was hoping you would have some idea." And I did hope he had a way out of this island cause I needed it for when I was about to leave.

After giving it some thought I asked "Hey do you need place to stay ? ".

"Do I need a place to stay? I..... yeah man." he accepted after some thought

"Alright then you can stay with me. I doubt you will need much space while you are here"

"hey don't you know the saying

-Appreciate the little things. Give the short person a hug.-

tell you what I ain't feeling appreciated right now"

controlling my amusement I said "hey, that was me appreciating your........

Any way why don't you come with me while I give you a short tour of my place."

He said in a smug voice "That's what I thought"

As we walked back to the cansion, I showed him the different spots I had explored and pointed out the various plants and animals that called this place home. Also I couldn't resist the puns and jokes that Turbo was throwing at me, and his enthusiasm was contagious.

Some of his puns were bad - -

"Check out this leafy green over here," Turbo said, pointing to a large plant with wide leaves. "It's the perfect spot for a snail like me to take a nap and catch some rays. Leaf me alone for a while, will ya?" he grinned, his eyes gleaming with humor.

Some of it were good--

"I was once chased by a hare on a racetrack," Turbo said, his eyes widening as he recalled the memory. "I had to put my all to leave him in the dust! It was a snail-biting experience, let me tell ya."

"heh haha"

I laughed, picturing the absurd sight of a snail racing a hare. "I bet that hare never saw it coming. You're a quick one aren't you?"

Turbo puffed out his chest proudly. "You bet I am! I'm the fastest snail in town, and nobody can outpace me."

Like that we talked and joked around the whole time before I finally brought him to my cansion.

"And here it is gent, the much heard about. my CANSION" I introduced it with a bit of flair.

I don't know what he expected to see. But what I showed him definitely blew his mind.

"broooooo...the name finally makes sense" he said before zipping around the whole place in pure wonderment

Guys This was one of the hardest chapters I wrote. Give me some time, after some more writing I am sure my writing quality between character interaction will improve
