Oh Why Is It Not Mine

The tall grass swayed and the tree leaves rustled with the ocean breezes. Whistling noises could be heard from the reeds that stuck out on the rocky shore. A finely crafted wooden deck stretched out on a small bay. At the end of the dock was a ship.

It was yacht over 75 meters in length. It was sleek and wide with four upper levels. A giant hawk with its wings flaring backward decorated it's a bow. The mastless behemoth was faster than any of the old sailboats that most people were still using. The twin-turbine propellers neatly hidden under the water not breaking the streamlined look of the craft.

At the aft of the yacht, four wavers were at the ready able to hold two to three people plus the driver. The modern full metal body of the wavers match the larger yacht ascetics. The aft of the ship also had a large open deck that leads into the main level of the ship. Close to the bow of the ship was a built-in pool.

No weapons of any sort could be seen. The cannon and other guns that the ship held was neatly hidden away. Panels that blended in perfectly with the haul could be open at the starboard and port side at any time. A laser beam system was installed in the mouth of the hawk figurehead. The armaments could hold off a whole fleet of other ships or even devastate a small kingdom.

All and All The Fire Hawk was an incredible vessel. Hell, the ship had a whole deck dedicated to playing games. It had hoops to throw a ball and cleaver mechanized games of all sorts. One of the many rooms on that floor was set up like a theater that could comfortably sit up to two dozen people. Luxury was at the forefront of the Red Hawks design.

Comparing the Red Hawk to the little eight-man schooner that floated next to it made the little double mast sailing boat look bland. Even with the platinum and gold trim the schooner, with shiny bronze-colored cannons and bright red sails was still dull next to such a large and modern yacht.

The Twin Serpent was still a full-service vessel. Even if it was not as fancy looking as it's a big brother. Frankly insisted on making Ace's first boat blend in on the grand line. The twins thought it a great challenge to camouflage the small boat. They had to keep all the technology that was even in use in the Red Hawk cleverly hidden.

The mast and sails were not truly needed, for just like the Red Hawk, the twin serpent had two turbine propellers under the water surface. In fact, it could outrun the Red Hawk with no problems making it truly the fastest ship ever created. Besides that, the ship could deploy hot air balloons to fly in the sky.

The surface of the haul was a clever use of thin wooden veneer that covers it's Wapol Metal shell. Not one piece of wood was used in the ship's core. Because of the materials used in its design, the Twin Serpent was really hard to damage. Luffy insisted that Ace first ship be made to last or until they outgrew it as a crew. Ussop and Luffy both cried like babies as they recount to the kids about their first ship the Going Merry.

As for armaments, the twins outdid their dad as each of the cannon stations on board was able to transform into different weapons. The two cannon at the bow was really two railguns that could shred anything they were pointed at.

The broadside arrangement was a mix of Kuma Lasers and a Motion Tracking Defense Grid. The Grid as the girls had happily named it would shoot down any object the was shot towards the Twin Serpent. Any fast-moving object would be aggressively tracked and destroyed by the Kuma Lasers.

The second level had a standard sailing wheel on it like the Thousand Sunny. Behind it was the Captain's quarters. The large room has a desk, a large bed, a private bathroom and lots of storage shelves and cabinets. The furnishing all fix to the floor so nothing would move about.

Underneath the second level was the main deck, crew quarter and galley. The galley was up by the bow and you had to go threw it to get to the bow itself. At the port was two large rooms that could fit four men and four women accordingly. Both men and women sides each had their own bathrooms.

The had plenty of space for a eight man crew to move freely about. The sails were all rig to be unfurled and furled by a machines build into the masts. The deck below the topside was home to a lab, a med bay, the gunners room and rec room. The lower deck held the engine room and cargo storage. By the bow an access ladder and elevator was install to bring up goods for use in the galley.

The fact that the whole ship was made out of Wapol Metal helps with displacing heat. All the different compartments stayed at a comfortable temperature because of that. Another advantage the ship held was its generator had been fed an artificial devil fruit to add to it's the power supply. The Mythical Lightening Serpent Haietlik.

All in all, put the Twin Serpent next to any other ship on the grand line and it would surely be impressive. Too bad it was currently anchored by it's a big brother. The ship Franky and the Twins first create. It took them over a year and a half to make the Red Hawk. It was mostly made by Franky with the girl only handing off designs they had long ago drafted up.

Luffy crush the Twins dreams when he rejected giving such a huge ship to Ace. He yelling at them and Franky (mostly just Franky) for going overboard with it. Not that he cared about the cost or resources it took to make. Mostly because his eye had turned to stars and he decided to replace the Thousand Sunny with it. Since its completion, Luffy and family had moved in it and used it as their home.

Ace had been too focused on training that he truly did not know what the small boat had to offer. All he could think as he stood on the dock that led to the two vessels was that Luffy his father was a real show off. Shaking his head and giving off a little laugh he darted off to where the crew was standing. The place was of course on the large yachts main deck.

"Ha haha, Ace over here son." Luffy shouted as he saw his son speed towards them.

"Ace kun has gotten much more hansome and stronger." Nami said with pride.

"Hmm, that little punk better take care of my little treasure or ill hunt him down to make flank steaks." Sanji mumble to himself as Viola and pudding laugh at his behind.

"They will have a SSSUPER adventure no doubt about that, " Franky added as he ignored Sanji crying on the floor in front of him.

"I sure they will, I also hope they find Brook he has been out of touch with use for too long now." commented Ussop.

" Who knows maybe he finally past on to the other side, " added Robin.

"Nah, he is too strong for something like that. he probably just got his sorry ass lost." Zoro said as he stood up to stretch from his recent nap.

To Zoro comment Sanji instinly stop his crying act and as he took a drag from his cigarette he retorted with "Only you, marimo head, could get lost like that."

"You want to go at it you shitty perverted cook." Zoro shouted as he slightly drew his swords.

A "WACK" sound quickly followed as Nami his both men over the head knocking them out cold. To which everybody but Sanji and Zoro laugh at.

"They never change, " commented Shirahoshi and the other two princesses could not help but agree.

"Robin are you still sure your OK going out to sea with Ace and the kids." asked Luffy. He was not sure if it was a good idea for her to be associated with them. After all she was famous and had a lot of enemies.

" Fufufu, Ace kun has insisted i go with him. He said if I don't I be breaking a long standing promise." Robin said with a smile.

"Beside they are huting for an old lady now not a young twenty-year-old women." added Nami. it was true Robin looked younger now than when she first joined the crew. All the women seem to have found out how to turn back time.

"As long as she does not use her devil fruit powers nobody would think she is Nico Robin," Iceberg said as he studied how the ship was built. He could not help but study the twin's designs and spent time looking over the two ships.

"Ok then, here take this" Luffy said as he threw a pendant to Robin. She knew the pendant could seal away her devil fruit powers. It was a super rare item that they had found long ago.

"Thank you Luffy-kun I'll make sure not to lose it," Robin said as she put the item away. She would bond with it later.

"Haha, Robin probably now the weakest member of Ace-kun crew. Those five kids are all monsters." laugh Rayleigh as he says in a lounge chair drinking a beer.

With a big grin, Ace landed on the deck of the Red Hawk. He could not help but be awed by its size and luxury. Grinning ear to ear he asks. "So is this my ship?" he already knew the answer but he could not help but ask.
