Chapter 21

"Klahadore!"

Just as the two of them were at an impasse, three people emerged from the manor, Kaya's parents and Kaya herself, accompanied by several servants and bodyguards.

Upon seeing Kaya's family, Ron's eyes lit up. He gazed at the delicate and lovely girl, Kaya, who had long blond hair, a delicate and beautiful face, and an emaciated yet curvaceous figure, She was truly stunning.

"Lord, ma'am! and young miss!" Klahadore turned to Kaya's family and greeted. "It seems a stranger may have mistaken me for someone else, I apologize for disturbing your peace."

"It's quite alright!" Kaya's father, a polite middle-aged man with short brown hair and a small beard, wore a gentle smile. His face wasn't very handsome, and he appeared to be in poor health if you looked carefully.

Kaya's mother, a blond-haired woman, may not have had the delicate beauty of her daughter, but she was equally gentle. She looked at Ron and Klahadore with curiosity.

"Young man, what brings you to our home?" Kaya's father inquired kindly.

"I've come for revenge against Captain Kuro!" Ron's expression remained steadfast as he addressed Kaya family. He then fixed his gaze on Klahadore and declared, "Kuro, today is the day of your reckoning. I must avenge my fallen comrade."

"Lord, you see..." Klahadore began with an innocent look.

"Sorry, you must have made a mistake!" The pretty and lovely Kaya interrupted Ron. "He's the butler of our house, and his name is Klahadore. He's not this Captain Kuro you're talking about."

"Kuro, do you think I wouldn't recognize you under a different name?" Ron continued in a cold tone. He revealed his true purpose, saying, "You were originally the captain of a pirate crew, and now you're hiding here anonymously. Are you scheming something against this family?"

"What are you talking about? I don't understand..." Klahadore feigned ignorance and concealed his murderous intent. This man had somehow uncovered his plan, and he needed to eliminate him.

"Young man!" Kaya's father's brow furrowed. He appeared somewhat displeased. "If you persist in causing this unreasonable commotion, I'll have to ask you to leave."

Ron shook his head upon hearing this. He understood that he wouldn't easily sway Kaya family's trust. Klahadore had been here for over a year, and they trusted him. If Ron wanted their trust, he had to expose Klahadore's true intentions and eliminate him in front of their eyes.

Tashigi, who stood beside Ron, was also perplexed. She had no idea why Ron was causing trouble so soon after arriving on the island. While she recognized Ron's formidable strength, she couldn't make sense of his bizarre statements. She refrained from interjecting, fearing that the situation might take an even stranger turn.

"Captain Kuro, whether you admit it or not, I'm going to execute you today!"

Ron's eyes gleamed with cold determination as he swiftly drew his long knife from his waist, slashed through the iron gate of the family's manor, and advanced toward Klahadore.

"Ahem!" Kaya's father, showing signs of frustration, immediately commanded, "Bodyguards, escort him out!"

"Yes, sir!" Several black-suited bodyguards at Kaya's father's side nodded in acknowledgment and rushed towards Ron.

"Move aside!" Ron's eyes narrowed, and he delivered a series of powerful kicks that sent the black-suited men flying. This display of strength both startled and alarmed Kaya's parents and Kaya herself.

Now, Ron had closed the distance to Klahadore. "It's time to settle this," he declared.

With a swift motion, Ron brought his knife down on Klahadore. He didn't use much force, fearing he might accidentally kill Klahadore.

Klahadore's eyes filled with caution as he quickly dodged the attack. He had no intention of revealing his full strength; doing so would expose his carefully planned year-long deception. He had been biding his time, waiting for the right moment to seize the family's assets.

However, Klahadore couldn't help but notice that the young man standing before him was incredibly strong. Ron's knife strike was easily avoidable, but it revealed a significant portion of his own strength. As he watched the teenager prepare to strike again without hesitation, Klahadore realized he had no choice but to go all out. His plan was about to be exposed, and he needed to deal with this crazed individual who was now jeopardizing his scheme.

With determination in his heart, Klahadore's demeanor suddenly changed. He reached into his pocket as if to retrieve something. His eyes, hidden behind his glasses, revealed a chilling intent. He was prepared to kill Ron, the person who had disrupted his plans, and he would do whatever it took to eliminate the threat.
