Chapter 178
After Morgans left, Ken walked back towards his ship while holding onto his wound, which is bleeding a lot. As he walked back to the ship, he saw Tani and Urouge still fighting with Jack and X Drake. He quickly hid his injuries and stood up straight.
"What are you idiots doing! I'm already done, and you guys are still wasting your time with the second-rate losers!"
All four people fighting suddenly froze in place. They turned their heads to look at Ken, who looked fine except for some dust and a couple of scratches. He just beat one of the four Yonko's with barely any injuries.
X Drake didn't look for a second longer and immediately ran towards his ship at max speed. Jack looked at Ken with anger. He was pissed off at the fact that he wanted to fight him, but his body was screaming at him to run away.
"Don't think that I'm running away. The next time I see you, I'll definitely kill you!" After saying that, he immediately ran away with his tail between his legs. Tani stood up and wanted to go after him, but Ken stopped him.
"Leave him be. He wasn't a part of our objective, so let's not get too greedy. Let's go back to the ship. I'll lecture you idiots later."
"Yes, Captain- Yawn!" Tani let out a loud yawn and fell on his back. "Zzzzz." He fell asleep the moment he got the chance to relax.
"Sigh, how dare he fall asleep right after a fight. Urouge, carry him to the ship."
"Leave it to me, Captain." Urouge picked up Tani, and they walked back to the ship together. When they arrived on the ship, everyone immediately surrounded Ken to ask how the fight went.
"We'll talk about my awesome victory later. Robert, you haven't done anything today, so go and search for those fruits."
Robert wanted to protest but quickly disappeared after a glare from Laffitte.
"Laffitte, Ace, Jinbe, go and tell everyone in Totto Land the amazing news that they have a new King."
"Consider it done, your majesty," said Ace in a sarcastic voice.
"I remember there being a position open as a guard dog. Are you perhaps interested, Ace?"
"Excuse this servant's tone! I will immediately get it done, Captain!" said Ace as he disappeared a second later. Laffitte and Jinbe followed after him while trying to hold in their laughs.
"What are Paulie and Van Augur doing in Deuce's office?"
"Van Augur got hurt from a sneak attack," said Brook.
"Sigh, and he was supposed to be one of the best when it comes to Kenbunshoku Haki. Alright, the rest of you, just keep an eye out for potential enemies. Urouge, take Tani to his room. I'll be going to Deuce's office to take care of these scratches."
Urouge nodded and took Tani to his room, and Ken went to the office.
"Welcome back, Captain. You don't need to worry about Van Augur. I've already stopped the bleeding and closed his wounds, so he should be fine. But it would be best to quickly take him Deuce."
"That's good to hear, but I'm not here for him." Ken took off his jacket and showed the wounds he had hidden. Paulie was shocked.
"Why do you look so surprised, Paulie?"
"Well… It's just the first time that I have seen you this hurt. I can't even remember the last time that I saw your blood. I almost thought that you were some immortal being. But I guess a Yonko is on a completely different level."
"Well, all the Yonko's are monsters, so you can't be able to imagine their strength with common sense."
"I think that I'm pretty good at imagining my Monster Captain's strength. Now lie down so that I can stop the bleeding."
Ken nodded and layed down on one of the empty beds.
'Monster Captain, huh. Sounds pretty cool. The Monster Captain vs. a real monster. I'm looking forward to it.'

Ace, Laffitte, and Jinbe have already let everyone in Totto Land know about the change in leaders. The citizens were horrified that they have been taken over by Azure Ken, but they're also relieved that they won't have to deal with Big Mom's Hunger Pangs.
Morgans is also a quick worker. A couple of hours after Big Mom's defeat, the whole world has already been let known about what has happened on Totto Land. Anyone who had read the newspaper and knew a little about the Yonko's were utterly stupified. First, Whitebeard got killed by a dark horse, and now Azure Ken, the one who has shocked the world over and over again, has shocked it again by killing another Yonko, Big Mom. This brings the Yonko's back to 4.
After the news reached Onigashima, it has become extremely quiet. 5 out of the 6 Tobiroppo have been killed. While the remaining Tobiroppo and an All-Star ran away with their tails between their legs. No one dared to approach Kaido, knowing that his temper is terrible.
Even King and Queen did their best to stay as far as possible away from Kaido, till both of them got summoned by him, which made them sweat. They quickly made their way over to him as to not fuel his anger. But they were surprised at how calm he looked. He wasn't even drinking.
"Did you manage to retrieve our fruits?"
"Yes, sir! But they were too far away to also get Big Mom's fruit," said King.
"Once those idiots make it back, give those fruits to the strongest non Devil Fruit users we have. We will prepare for an all-out war and attack after the Fire Festival is over. I can't leave that idiot Orochi here alone. He'll definitely do something stupid to catch those supposed ghosts."
King and Queen looked stupified, but King quickly got his composure back. "Yes, sir! We will immediately take care of it! Should we get someone to bring you some Sake?"
"I don't feel like drinking any now. Go and quickly take care of what I just told you.."
Both King and Queen were even more surprised by this than Big Mom's death. They nodded and quickly made their way out.
"Did I just hear that correctly, King? Did Captain just say that he didn't want Sake?" asked Queen.
"He must just be tired. I'm sure that he'll immediately ask for all the Sake in Wano after he gets some rest."
"He didn't look tired to me. He looked more heartbroken than anything. I didn't know he cared so much about his subordinates."
"Don't be stupid. There must be something else going on. But let's stop talking about Captain and help me prepare for this war. This is an enemy that we can't underestimate."
"Yeah, yeah, I'll go and call back everyone. They might attack us before the festival, so we should have everyone back right away."

"Shouldn't we be getting worried, Captain?" asked Yasopp.
"Why? Do you think that we will lose against them?"
"Well… They did take out an entire Yonko crew that has been around for a long time without any deaths on their side. And we know how strong the Big Mom Pirates were. "I bet you're more worried about what will happen when Ken fights against that 'guy'," said Benn Beckman.

"That's not what I meant. Not being able to achieve your dream can sometimes be worst than death. And knowing how badly Luffy wants to become King of the Pirates, he'll definitely be devastated if he can't become it," said Benn Beckman.
"I'm sure that the brat will manage. If he loses, he'll just have to become stronger and try again to beat his older brothers. He still has enough time."
"So what you're saying is you don't care about if the Azure Pirates attack us or if they beat the Strawhats. Then that means that we can celebrate their victory, right? I'm hungry," said Yasopp.
"I almost forgot. Let's party!"
"Yeah!"

(Sup guys. I'm still alive and kicking. Motivation is starting to rise, which is good. So I think that I'll be uploading again.
I think that I'll be able to keep my regular schedule which is Tuesday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday. And if you're familiar with the time I usually upload, you'd see that I uploaded this one 2 hours later. From now on, this will be the time I upload on. 2 pm EST.
