I was drifting through the void like usual.

I had been damned to this madness after a horrible accident involving a truck, that tragically took my life. The life of Joey was ended short

I had lost my sense of time in this void. There was no sun to gauge the time and I'll be damned if I were to count the seconds here like Senku.

I am worried I will soon become one of the insane. This couldn't be what was waiting for everyone when they died , right?

All I wish is a second chance, a chance where I could be something.

Having nothing to do in this void, the only thing that can entertain me is my thoughts. I thought about all the hardships in my old life. I have so much regrets, so many words I should have said, or things I should have done.

The absence of talking to other people , not being able to hear other voices, or see another human face, tormented my soul.

All that was there was emptiness now, stuck in this place for what I assume to be forever and ever.

This realm, devoid of colors, sounds or companionship was my new reality. What did I do to deserve this? I wouldn't have said I was a "bad" person in my old life. I didn't do much to affect other peoples lives, good or bad.

As time passed through the void, my panic shifted to constant self reflection.

Without the worldly distractions , I began to think about my old life and how shitty it was. What a trash life I had lived, it cringes me to even think about it.

I hated my old self, every bit of him was so annoying. And by a byproduct, I had become a new person.

All of a sudden though, something happened.

In the midst of my eternal float within the boundless void, a glimmer of light flickers in the distance. The darkness begins to recede, giving way to a radiant brilliance.

A figure emerges from the luminosity, gradually taking shape before my eyes. It is a god-like being, with ethereal features and an aura of immense power.

My eyes widened at the presence, my naked body shivering at the sight of the mystical being. Is this God, the most famous concept on planet Earth?

God began to speak." I'm so sorry mortal.A grave mistake has been made, and I am here to rectify it".

"A mistake? How could there be a mistake?", I said to the God in front of me.

"You see, every person is immediately enter into the reincarnation cycle when they die but for you, it seemed like you glitched into this void realm.", the god continued."I only seemed to sense you when I felt a rebirth of a soul, a now very powerful one".

I began to ponder the situation I was dealing with. Leave it to me, to be so unlucky! What are the chances of that happening. Can't be that high, as the God is acting like they never saw it before.

"I will reincarnate you now but since you were dealt with a random punishment, I'll make it a special reincarnation. First, choose what world you want to reincarnate to?"

Reincarnation! That's so cool! The possibilities are endless!

I guess most people get reincarnated into a random world. What world should I choose to reincarnate into? I thought about it for a moment before answering the God.

"I choose to reincarnate into the world of One Piece", I declared to the mythical being. I always liked One Piece and it was my favorite piece of fiction. I can't wait to be a pirate.

God smiled before talking."Great choice, now I shall give you three random gifts for your journey. This is because of the sorrow I caused you. Also, all gifts will be inverse".

I nodded, awaiting God to present the gifts to me. The god closed his eyes and began to generate the three random gifts I will be receiving.

When he opened his eyes, I anxiously waited for him to say the gifts for me. He shortly then after started.

"For your first gift, you will gain Kaido's "Oni" bloodline. Kaido had naturally gifted physical capabilities, including strenght, speed, durability, endurance and stamina. At your peak, you will be the most physically strong person alive", The god relayed my first gift.

I smiled widely when he said my first gift. What a wonderful gift that boosts my potential through the roof.

"For your second gift, you have been given a random Mythical Zoan. This one is called Monsuta Monsuta No Mi Model: Chimera. It was dubbed by the ancient people of One Piece "Father Of All Zoans", God continued.

Father Of All Zoan? This Chimera Devil Fruit has to have insane power and capabilities.Chimera is a terrifying beast in Greek mythology. I guess I'll figure the rest of the devil fruit by myself.

"For your last gift, I have decided to make it special. I have designed a Supreme Blade just for you. You will spawn with it. It is called "Freyr", The God proclaimed to me.

These gifts were incredible! A good bloodline, Devil Fruit and weapon, what a good way to start out in the One Piece world. I now appreciated the fact I glitched into the void, or else I wouldn't have had this opportunity.

"A man like you, with such a strong soul, will flourish in your next life. Good luck Joey, or do you still want to be called Joey?", The god asked me."Being reborn, most people get their names changed".

That's a good question. I hate the old me and I don't want to think about him ever again. What's a name that will strike fear in the hearts of many? I'll figure it out later.

"I don't know. I'm ready to be reincarnated", I said to the God, which he nodded.

A new life was about to begin for me. What awaits me is an adventure. I'll rise to the top of the world.I won't be the same bottom feeder I was in my past life.

The void started to morph and swirl around me, obscuring my vision. I was getting lifted to my new world, a world where I'll be at the top.
