First Day

As I woke up, I could feel the fact that I was sleeping on sand.
I felt groggy, and it took me awhile before my mind was fully awake. I sat up and before I knew it, My mind was rushed with what had happened previously.
I had been reincarnated by the man upstairs, and I was now in what I assume to be, the world of One Piece.
As I hastily got up, I began to look at my surroundings. I was on the beach, a medium sized beach to be exact.
To my right, was a shore and beyond that, was the blue sea that spread far out of my human vision.
To my left, was a very lush forest with the longest trees I have ever seen. I cursed at myself realizing my predicament. I had probably been reborn in one of the millions uninhabited islands.
I freaked out for a moment before I realized something else. I looked different from my previous body. I jogged over to the shore, to see my reflection in the water.
Looking at myself in the water, my eyes widened. I was a dark-skinned male and I was quite muscular, probably thanks to my "Oni" Bloodline I got. I had short black hair and my eyes were white and beady. I also had only blue shorts on right now. I also had pure white horns protruding from the top of my head.

While I was looking at myself in the water, from the comer of my eye, a lightning bolt shot out of the sky and struck the sand behind me. There was not a single cloud in sight, so this was not ordinary.
My head jolted and I looked backward to see what had happened to the lightning-struck sand. After seeing what was there, I smiled a wide grin and ran over to it.
What lay there, in the now scorched sand, was the other two gifts I was granted by God for accidentally getting stuck in the void state.
One of the items on the ground, was a slightly large dog's fang sword. Where the guard was supposed to be, was a patch of white fur. It was a beautiful sword, fitting for a future great pirate. It was also in a black scabbard.

The other item on the floor, was the supposed Monsuta Monsuta No Mi Model: Chimera. It was a multi-colored apple, with spikes protruding from everywhere on its body. It was an intimidating looking Devil Fruit, especially for the "Father Of All Zoans".
I eyed the 2 items, before picking up the Devil Fruit.Should I eat the Devil Fruit now? I might need it for the fact I might have to face wild animals.
After thinking for a few moments, I decided to eat devil fruit. The only thing I was not going to enjoy is the documented "bad taste" of all Devil Fruits. I brought the fruit to my mouth, before downing the whole thing.
To say I almost threw up was an understatement. The taste was so horrid, it trumps all the bad foods I tasted in my old life, by many miles.
After a few moments of forcing myself not to throw up, I picked up my new sword, mentally prepped myself, and began to slowly walk into the intimating rain forest.

As I venture further into the island's interior, I marvel at its untouched beauty.
Lush forests abound, teeming with exotic flora and fauna, their vibrant colors dancing in harmony with nature. The calls of unfamiliar birds echo through the canopy, lending an air of mystique to the unexplored realm.
As I continued walking through this forest, I realized the possible hidden dangers lurking in this forest.
What if an animal tried to ambush me? I hoped my "Oni" bloodline gives me enough durability to survive the initial attack. I also have a supreme sword with me but I dont have any sword skills, so it might just hinder me.
Like my mind sensed the future, I suddenly felt a rushing force connect with my back, sending into some of the nearby trees.
It didn't hurt as much as I was expecting, and I got back up quickly to identify the current threat that faces. As I saw the creature, I forced myself not to open my mouth agape, just to not show my fear.
What was in front of me was a massive black lion. The massive lion stands tall and proud, its imposing figure casting a shadow that seems to swallow the surrounding light. Its entire body is cloaked in a sleek and lustrous black coat.
It was a gigantic lion, way bigger than any of the lions back in my old world. It was also very muscular, having every muscle in it's body to be toned and defined is a terrifying sight.
I then smile, remembering my newly eaten Mythical Zoan. I guess it was time to put this bad boy to use. I tried to find the energy, the capacity, to transform into the beast that is a Chimera.
The obsidian colored lion lunged at me, his claws out ready to strike me. As it moved closer and closer, I cursed internally, the fact it was taking too long to transform. Hell, there wasn't a single sign of transformation.
As the lion got closer and closer, I decided to ditch the attempt of transforming before a quick burst to the right of me, just narrowly avoiding the lion's claws.
Why is my fruit not working? I also lost hold of my sword off the first attack of the lion, so i guess I'll have to use my 2 hands. Hope the "Oni" bloodline will help me through this.
Deciding to go on the offensive, I jet over to the lion, ready to give him the last fight of his life. I was way faster than any normal human should be, with the "Oni" bloodline enhancing my physical capabilities.
My fist connected with the obsidian lion's flank, causing the lion to bellow out in pain. The impact of the punch also momentarily staggered the colossal beast.
I smiled a wicked grin, and started to seize the opportunity. I rushed over to the lion, releasing multiple lightning-fast strikes, each blow landing with the most precision and force I could muster. My fists were kind of blurry, as I was exploiting my superhuman speed to hit the lion as many times as possible.
The lion wasn't able to tank all those hits, as he was starting to succumb to the pressure of my continuous hits.
The lion wasn't ready to give up though. The lion, fueled by fury and resilience alike, managed to get off a swipe at me with his massive claws. I didn't quite get the full force due to my durability.
I flew across the forest but unlike last time, I landed on my feet. The lion and I locked eyes with each other, each not wanting to back down.
We clashed with each other for several minutes. I had noticed the lion had scars from previous battles, a display of its indomitable will. But each blow that connected, the every other strike that I dodged, it showed my superior physical capabilities over the lion.
The battle was fated with an inevitable end, and I was the one that shall bring it. As the lion lunged at me, I muster all the power I can, before hitting the lion square in the face, sending the lion straight into the ground.
As the dust clears, the lion was knocked out, not moving a single bone. I had emerged victorious. Man vs Beast, I have conquered this beast.
That's when I heard the rustling of the trees. My eyes jolted to see what I assume to be an large baboon running farther away from me , through the trees.
That's when I spotted it. The baboon had something in his hands. It was my supreme sword, the one I had dropped when I was fighting with the black lion.
I was about to take off and run after the baboon, but my whole body ached from the battle with the beast. I fell over, on to my butt, the tree to support my back.
The first day on this island had been tough on him. I had fought a strong opponent and I had one of my gifts stolen by a baboon. I have to get that back.
I also have to solve another problem.I need something to eat for the night, as I didn't want to starve after a tough battle like that. I also had an insane craving, an urge to eat some meat.
I glanced at the unconscious lion, before smiling widely. I got up and began to prep for my meal tonight, first by starting a fire.
After a long hour of work, I was eating the cooked meat of an animal I conquered. I also had another goal. To get back my Supreme Sword from that baboon.
I looked at the night sky, wondering my purpose in this new world. It's too early to be thinking that, I need to start thinking about this island.
This animal kingdom of sorts might is my first tough endeavor, and I'm going to have to learn how to conquer it.
