Chapter Seven: The King and The Crown Prince

Lindoln Elionor POV

I let Saphir sleep after we talked, she need to rest more and focused on her health. But I think I forgot something important...I talked a lot so I don't think there is something I forgot.

Ahh-

"I forgot to ask who is the father!!" I punched the table in front of me. I'm at the other room beside Saphir's room. I curse three times. If I find that bastard, he won't see the sun tomorrow. I sigh. I'm happy that there's gonna be another cute baby in my life but- having a child with no husband is like suicide in the high society. Besides, Isn't it too early? She doesn't even have a lover nor fiancée.

I know she did that so she wont be sold to the royal family but I think being pregnant is a little bit too much. But still.....ugh.. Why am I arguing to myself?

Lila and her husband prepare it for me after Saphir send the letter to me at the Academy. I opened the window a bit and sat down at the chair. Well, it's rather an office rather than a room. There's a mini library and a table set for the guest and tea. And of course, my office table and chair near a whole big window. There's a risk sitting near the window but I need it. Especially at a time like this.

I put all down the documents I bought from the Academy. Well, It's not that I didn't do something about it, I'm just waiting for a right moment to strike. It may be my house but it's not our home when a parasite is living among us.

I re-read all of it and prepare some counter measure. A small knock is hear from a window and when I open it, a black eagle flew in and land in my left hand. It's claws doesn't hurt because I already put a thick cloth in my arm before it lands. I glance at the eagle's feet and there's a three letters tied to it. Also a small purse in the eagle's beak.

The eagle look at me and he dropped the purse at my hand then I took the letter. I feed him a little and he made a low screech scream. I placed the eagle to a wood stand for him to say. "Thanks Din." He screech and flip his wings. I sat down again and read the letter first. I picked one and look at it.

There's a royal seal. This seal...from the Crown Prince, Fredrick Middleson.

Dear Friend Lindoln,

'He' is looking to your beloved jeweled Sapphire.

Prince Charming

I crumbled the letter immediately and throw it to the fire. What the fuck is 'Your Man in life' and Prince Charming? It's making me tremble in disgust damn Prince. Fedrick and I is friends since I can remember. We exchange some letters when I was still at the Academy, well, sometimes he's so bored and stressed out that he also wants me to suffer too by making me jealous about my sister.

He wished to help me about my family matters but I can't let Saphir suffer anymore. When the Elders found out that I still have the strong back up from the Crown Prince, they'll do whatever they can so I can't go back and use my sister to control everything. But I guess that was a mistake as well, I should let him abuse his power and authority to crush those bastard.

Ohh. Is writing a letter with a few words is the trends nowadays? I remember Saphir is also like that. Wait.

' 'He' is looking to your jeweled Sapphire. '

I moan out of stress and annoyance. That guy, he's looking my sister? Why? He's a type of guy who doesn't care about anyone except himself and the people who's powerful enough to stand beside him. Like the King and Crown Prince. He also doesn't like jewels and flowers of the high society (which made me mad because my sister is so beautiful and kind, what's wrong in his eyes?), so why now? Ugh! He should write down the reason! I sat down and open the purse,

"Sapphire jewels?"

Is this for real? I look inside the purse and- It's a double purse. I grab a knife from my table and tear the purse inside, a black crystal ball rolled to my table.

"This is..." I stared at the black crystal and shocked, this is a recording and storage magical device. I heard and learn many times about magic because of the Academy. Magic is very rare in this country, which makes Lila and Maine more amazing. They decide to keep it a secret and only reveal to the person you chose a master, giving your loyalty and serve him for life.

Human who possesses magic is rare but nothing can compare to the magic device and tools, especially relics. You can rule or buy a country with only few relics and magic devices. That prince! I know he wants to help me but by giving a magic device?! This one is the rarest one! . Ugh he's so carefree.

A small piece of paper fall down from the purse. When I read it, it's a list of names of the Elders of the House Elionor. I smiled and chuckle. He really help me a lot this time but still I'll nag him about this when we meet. He shouldn't carelessly hand out magic devices to anyone. I smiled again and shake my head lightly, I should invite him to go horse back riding after I finish those Elders.

I picked the other letter and it....has also a royal seal. Golden color seal. Besides the crown prince, there's only one person who have this authority, His Highness The King. I frown because I remember that Saphir ran away because of him and ready to throw the letter to the fire but I have no choice. I open the and read the letter.

Dear Lindoln Elionor,

I just want to say, sorry, my fault. The jeweled sapphire is so shining to my eyes that I can't help but to desire it. I-

My hand is shaking from annoyance. These choice of words is not from a king but a bastard womanizer pedophile scum. I take off my glasses and cleaned it. I need to calm down or I might tear the letter into pieces and throw it to the fire.

I close my eyes and tried to calm down, 'you damn king piece of shit.' Ughhh I sigh and tried to continue reading it.

I know that ruby is pleasing in the eyes too, but still, sapphire is like a gentle water while the ruby is like a raging fire. So you know why. I just really want to design my palace a beautiful and shiny jeweled sapphire. But I guess the contract is canceled, as you are already returned from the Academy so EARLY than scheduled and now in the right age to succeed the tittle of the Duke. The mines will be yours, and as for my apology, I shall visit your House when the parasite is killed. My son and I will be busy playing 'Hide and seek' and so please take your time. Sharpen your sword as much as you want, just don't point it to us.

P.S : Please apologies to the jeweled sapphire for me please. I still desire the jewel but I'll treasure it now. I learn my lesson as my son, Fredrick, showered me with love to the point I have to travel to the other country for 3 days vacation.

Fredrick must have threaten him and they must have played a game where he lost so he have to run and do a job as a king. They're so fucking carefree that I'm worried about our country. Hmmm. So I have to kill the parasite before he visit the house (go back to the country) huh? And the King and the Crown Prince is so busy playing hide and seek (threatening each other) that they doesn't have the time to interfere me. But the King's letter is so opposite to Fredrick yet feels the same.

Now this is what I like. I smiled silently. Dealing with those old man is easy than I thought. Though after I finish this problem, I might faint dealing with the two troublesome, Crown Prince and the King. They keep recruiting me as the Prime Minister and Adviser of the country but still, that bastard King really just do what he wants. I should've done something about him in the future.
