Alex opened his eyes and saw that a giant who wore white fur clothes was holding him in one hand and his brother in the other.

"You may leave now" the man said.

The three maids bowed and left the room. The man holding us, should be their father Ji Yichuan, although he had twin boys he seemed like a piece of glacial ice, difficult to feel close too, especially after the loving parent Alex was used too. He wore a set of beautiful fur clothes, which stuck out compared to the animal fur the maids were dressed in.

While the room was empty, the wall, dresser and seat were carved out of marble like the buildings of ancient Rome, the carvings were exquisite and gave off an archaic, beautiful nobility. Upon the bed their mother lay on a 6-metre-long piece of lovely bast fur, which was clearly very expensive. Now Alex knew this was a cultivation world and civilisation followed that of ancient China, and that the Ji clan was a small clan within this world but even, so the beautiful simplicity of the marble and furs took his breath away.

"My sons" even looking at his two baby boys his face remain as stoic as ever, but deep in his eyes a flash of excitement could be seen, he was happy.

" Yichuan how are my two boys" the woman on the bed hurriedly asked, " Is there any damage."

" It is as we suspected their bodies' quality is ordinary" Their father muttered, sadness dripping of his tone.

The woman on the bed asked, " Let me hold them."

As the man carried the boys over the woman said " Yichuan we have let down our children, even though they were fed natural treasures, it barely repaired the damage especially as they had to share the resources."

Alex remembered the tragedy his parents had experience and swore to right the wrongs they had endured because of that clan.

Despite having just given birth to twins, his mother gracefully got off the bed and walked into her husband's arms shared a quick embrace before leaving the room.

Alex was excited, he was going to meet the uncle black and uncle white, the gigantic snake monster and large hound his father called brothers. The book does not do them justice the beautiful ice white fur of his uncle white, and the darkest of the scales of uncle black, so dark they seemed to be absorbing the light from the surroundings. The transformation of uncle from snake to human and back again blew Alex away, even though he was expecting it, the sight of visible magic excited and terrified him.

Walling out of the building the uncles in tow, toward the garden Alex variety of beasts, from lizards to giant insects, he dreamed of taming his own beast one. Looking at his brother, Alex saw the curiosity in his eyes, he must be freaking out Alex thought. In that moment Alex decide in this life he would not affect his brother's future or steal his opportunities but instead find his own. After all, with his system and fate he can find his own path in this world, he didn't need to rely on his knowledge of the plot, that would be boring and ruin the excitement.

"Haha, looks like I have two grandsons to choose from for the next prefecture head" a silver headed old man spoke. "Yichuan, now that you have a sons, I will no longer worry as much. I've been the lord of our prefecture for already eighty years. According to the rules of our clan, a person can only be a Prefecture Lord for no more than a century. I only have twenty years left as Prefecture Lord. Previously, I wanted you to succeed me in the position of the Prefecture Lord of the West Prefecture of our Ji clan, but you insisted on focusing on walking the path of the Immortals. Now that you have a children, as I see it, in the future, one of them can be the next Prefecture Lord."

"Big brother!" A sudden angry shout.
