Date in Hogsmeade(2)

Madam Puddifoot's is a small teashop located on a little side street off the main High Street. A favorite among couples, especially Hogwart's young lovers, this tiny teashop is a cramped, steamy place where everything seemed embellished with bows or frills.

At one small table for two sat a young brunette and a blonde veela.

Hermione sighed as she took another sip of her tea, a slice of cake lay untouched before Draco, who had refused any beverage.

After ten minutes of sitting and shuffling, they both were bored, too tired to feel shy and awkward.

"Why are we here again?" Draco asked Hermione, silver eyes gazing deeply in chocolate ones.

"Uhh...because this is what couples normally do on dates, isn't it?" she replied uncertain with her own reason.

"But we aren't normal like them, are we?" he more like stated than questioning as his lips tilted in a smirk.

"Excuse me?"

"I mean our situation, you know the bond," he tried again to make her catch onto his words, but she didn't.

"Ok, I see. So what do you suggest we do?" Hermione asked a bit puzzled.

With a mischievous grin, Draco placed a few sickles on the table before pulling Hermione out the store.

Standing at the door out of the shop, Draco turned to Hermione.

"Do you want to visit any of the shops? Any stuff you want to purchase?" he asked.

Crossing her arms, Hermione fingered her chin in a thinking gesture before answering.

"I do want to shop for some extra quills and parchments. Oooh, and also check out any new arrivals in Tomes and scrolls," she said excitedly, eyes glittering at the prospect of feasting on new books. But not for long as her excitation toned down into confusion.

"But weren't we supposed to be on a date?" she questioned the blonde who was grinning down at her."My dear Hermione," the girl felt a tickling sensation of butterflies fluttering in her stomach, "let's forget the definition of a perfect date generated by others and create our own. I want us to have a good time. If you are happy, I will be the one with a smile on my face."

Just like that, the two spent their day visiting the various shops and acting all goofy and cheesy. Even though they fought from time to time about who pays, they still had the most fun they have had in a while.

Hours passed, and soon it was time for the sun to set as it glistened like molten lava painting the sky with its hues in its last moments before the dark of the night could drown it in its inkiness.Tired and aching after a long day, our two protagonists trudged onward a dirty path aimlessly, their purchases secure in their hands.

Remembering something, Draco held the stuff he head in one arm, and with his other hand, he encircled Hermione's wrist, causing her to pause and look at him inquiringly.

"I want to show you something. Come with me?" Draco asked, not in a demanding manner, but rather politely as if asking for her approval, which Hermione provided him with a nod of her head.

Gently guiding her, Draco leads her towards a hidden path that looked to have not been put to frequent use by travelers as it lay littered with small weeds, saplings, twigs, and accumulated dirt.

Hiking up the steep trail, both climbed higher before coming to its end, which was bound by dense bushes and thick trees.

Ushering her through the green wall, which was surprisingly softer than it looked Hermione noticed, Draco pulled her to an open field before turning her to face him.

"Don't hit me," he requested warningly before pulling her into his arms, her back touching his chest, his large veiny hands covering her eyes.

Before Hermione could understand what he meant, her eyesight was snatched, causing her to feel antsy and fidget in her mate's arms.

"Relax," she heard his deep voice feeling the rumbling vibrations quaking through his chest as he spoke."Nothing is wrong- I only want to surprise you with something. Can you trust me?" Draco asked, his voice a soft murmur against her sensitive ears.Hermione hummed out a shy yes, leaving him to guide her as she followed him blindly but with faith.

When warm hands got lifted from before her eyes, Hermione beheld the most beautiful sight before her.

The last remains of the setting sun's rays fell on the big castle, making it look even more majestic than it ever did before.

The colossal lake glistening like diamonds due to the reflecting light on it made it look so much less scary than before.

The vast land of the forbidden forest visible as well looked enchanting and inviting rather than intimidating creepiness it usually had.

Hermione felt herself gap at the sight before her, which was too magnificent for words.

"Do you like it?" Draco questioned, even though he could read the pleasure on her face.

"It's gorgeous," she whispered, still dumbstruck by the alluring beauty before her.

"It sure is," Draco agreed, but his gaze was stuck on not the scenery but rather a someone.

Letting silence takeover, the two stood in silence lost in their thoughts items in their hands long since discarded on the ground.

Darkness descended, black clouds groaning from the pressure they couldn't wait to release.

"What are we, Draco?" Hermione asked, disrupting the quiet between them.

Draco gazed in the pair of eyes he had come to love, pain in his own.

"What do you want us to be, Hermione? I already informed you of my feelings long ago, leaving you to decide what you want. If I were to ask you to be my girlfriend right now, would you say yes?"

Before Hermione could answer, they felt drops on their heads before the rain started pouring down with full force.

Maybe for a moment, they forgot they were wizards who possessed magic, unlike us helpless muggles, as they hurried to take shelter under a large tree.

Draco caged Hermione's small figure by pulling his coat up to hold it around her as she stared at the boy who was protecting her from the harsh winds and cold water while letting himself bear their vigor.

"Yes..."Draco heard her voice before he looked down at her.

"Huh?"

" I would have said yes to being your girlfriend, Draco Malfoy," Hermione said with a smile, giggling at the disbelief transparent in his eyes.

She hooked her arms around her unsuspecting mate's neck before pulling him down to meet her lips with his.

Is anyone else squealing besides me?
