You have no heart
Fahsai started writing a will for her family, leaving instructions on how her mother could find the money that her Dad had hidden. Daniel spotted her writing a letter and smiled. Gosh! If only she'd turn back and see his subtle smiles, she'd beg to throw herself into his arms.
"Curiosity killed the cat." Fahsai said deliberately when his scent lingered in the air. "You should laugh more often, don't you think? It's a trick for your mind and body to heal quickly." She said demonstrating absurdly what that sounded like. Daniel stared at her unsmiling and said, "I sure won't do that."
As he walked away, she tried to stop him, but unceremoniously snagged his beloved necklace instead. It was his late girlfriend's necklace. She immediately regretted it, but got angry when Daniel retaliated by tearing up her letter.
"You're just the type to hurt others worse than they hurt you, right?" He remarked after slapping him. "You sure don't care for other people's feelings or what is right." She retorted bitterly considering the fact she had ruined the necklace by accident but he resolved to destroy her will. She then sauntered to the woods. Flustered, Daniel followed her.
"I won't let you go. You still need protection." He said and Fahsai laughed at the notion.
"How could you protect someone when you don't even value your own life? You have no heart." Fahsai ridiculed him. To distract her, and randomly out of nowhere, Daniel's faked laughter stopped her in her tracks. She span to face him.
"I'm trying to make my body stronger so that I could protect you. Give me a chance." He begged of her as he faked another fake laughter. Even Fahsai felt awkward about it and her anger dissipated.
"You're lucky I'm the type who gets over my anger quickly, Mr. Giant." She said making him chuckle. For the fact that she didn't know his name, she thought calling him 'Giant' would suite him better.
Back at Fahsai's home, Dr. Kwan, Eit's fiancee pretended not to know where her fiance's house was as she stopped by Fahsai's home asking for directions.
"Oops! I thought this might be Dr. Eit's place, my fiance. I'm sorry folks." She bragged as a way of staking her claim on her man by announcing to Fahsai's parents that Dr. Eit was already taken, even though their daughter happened to be dating him all that while.
"Oh my bad, I'm Dr. Kwan and my Dad owns the hospital and I'm about to become the director." She rubbed it in a little more as if Fahsai was no match for her. But as much as Dr. Kwan tried to make herself and her father believe that she wanted to be number one in everything she did, professionally and personally, Dr. Kwan just looked like the threatened woman whose fiance couldn't stop thinking about his ex-girlfriend, Fahsai.
Back in the little safety house in Japan, Daniel showed that he really was a quiet and tender man. He tended to Fahsai's twisted ankle without a word, they were both just lost in each other's eyes.
"Don't blame me, you're too handsome, Mr. Dreamy." Fahsai thought in her mind as he wrapped his ankle. He then silently carried her back to bed. But the electric current between the two remained even through the night, neither were able to sleep.
The following day, Gang Suer Khao found an abandoned car and searched the area for Daniel. An estranged man (Daniel) took his truck out that morning hoping to find a cell signal, leaving handy Japanese notes for Fahsai while he was away. He finally got a bar signal and instructed his right hand man not to look for him (Daniel) at the village. He didn't want the other gang to harm the old folks who were helping him. Instead, they were to meet at a different point, Daniel would manage to get there on his own.
"Her sister is with me, she's safe." Daniel's right hand man assured him. "But if I may ask, why does Fahsai look just like Botan? Does she make you happy?" He wondered.
"Her lookalike is a coincidence, and I'll only be happy once she's completely safe." Daniel relented.
Unfortunately, Fahsai got discovered by Gang Suer Khao as she wandered the streets waiting for her giant to return. Daniel lost his mind when he heard they had her and swung his truck around and simultaneously shot and knocked each man down. Chanmimg's right hand man was the last man standing, but Daniel pulled the trigger but saddening, he ran out of bullets.
"Holy shit!" He cursed out as he thought of a last straw to distract him. He threw the gun at the man to deter him and pulled Fahsai along as they made a run for it. They hid under the bridge until they were sure the coast was over.
"Don't walk." He forbade her as she was still limping from the twisted ankle. He hoisted her in his arms and without another word, he sauntered into the woods. Their size was different and attractive as he carried her with ease.
"We'll spend the night here. If we go back, the village folks will be in trouble." He was worried for her swollen ankle as well.
Big Sis on the other hand was already hooked with the Daniel's right hand man. It appeared that he too had the same tattoo like his Boss, on the left side of his chest. She spied on him as he was practicing his knife targets, which probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. But she was too distracted by his bare, inky chest to think straight.
"Don't be sneaky." She was reminded as the knife flew right by her ear.
"Have you heard from your Boss? When will I be able to see my sister again?" She questioned as her eyes roamed all over his body checking and admiring his fine torso. "Oh, why do you have both tiger and dragon tattoos, were you in both gangs?"
"Mind your manners." He simply muttered, determined not to quench her thirst.
