Her replacement

"What the heck Chernming! It's your fault that Daniel hates me now." Fahsai yelled at him for causing a misunderstanding between her and Daniel.

"You ordered your men to capture my mom and threatened me to find the black book or else you would kill them...what kind of human being are you!"

"No, I didn't order anyone to hurt your family." Chernming denied the involvement.

"Oh really? Then explain to me what's the meaning of this." She showed him the clip. "Are you satisfied now that Daniel hates my guts? From now on, I'm never going to concede to anything."

"I'll take you home, whether you believe it or not, Daniel isn't going to take you home." Chernming said.

Fahsai looked a little dead inside as they headed home, she could only think about her last encounter with Daniel. Chernming pulled over on the bridge to make sure she cooled her swollen eyes.

"I don't want your parents to worry. I swear I had nothing to do with Tian Kong threatening your parents' life." Chernming swore.

"It doesn't matter whether you knew about it or not." Fahsai said.

"I'm always sincere." Chernming informed her.

"It's not sincerity if you want me steal the black book from Daniel."

"I followed all the rules and never crossed you. I still want to court you though." He lamented.

"Can I be your friend untill you're ready for the next step?"

Fahsai didn't say anything, she just stared out into the water and touched her bracelet.

Once back in his domain, Chernming smacked Tian for hurting the ladies.

"You do nothing but ruin everything, I'm trying to make Fahsai love me and you decide to ruin everything!" He yelled at him.

"I won't disobey you again, Boss." Tian promised.

"Find out who hurt Fahsai in Khao Yai!" Chernming ordered him since Tian admitted he didn't commit that particular offense.

Wang Foie was pleased to hear that his son broke up with Fahsai. His Mother knew her husband's games.

"I know you alerted Tian Kong about that girl in the first place, which caused Tian to threaten Fahsai about the black book. That's so mean of you." She said.

"I'm doing this out of the love for my son." Wang relented.

"You can hang on to that love of yours then, because I'm going back to my son. I'm going to prove to him what true love looks like." His wife said.

"You must have known it all and I wonder why you didn't tell me." Daniel remarked over a bottle of brandy.

"I don't want you to get involved with Chernming again. I think it's time you give back the black book." Chern Piu said.

"You already know what will happen if I'm not in possession of the black book. Chernming will be destroyed by other gangs." Daniel was holding onto the book for safekeeping, and to protect Chernming. It was only leverage against other gangs.

Chern Piu was all, "Let him deal with it so he'll finally know that the person he hates the most is actually the person who loves and is concerned about him the most."

"No, I need to find the true culprit behind Chern's family demise first." Daniel said.

"What about you and Fahsai?" Piu wondered.

"Don't mention her name ever again!" Daniel forbade him. "We're done, just like this drink, bottomed up."

Meanwhile, Chernming was smittened by Fahsai and kept thinking of her as he brushed his big brother's hair.

"Do you remember a sentence from a novel you used to read to me - "You don't love the woman because she's pretty, but she's pretty because you love her."

"I think I found that woman, and she's pretty." Chernming said.

Fahsai on the other hand, took off the golden dragon bracelet, and as she opened the nightstand drawer, she spotted her story.

The next morning, Fahsai made her way to Chief Ramet's office.

"I changed my mind about the story, I no longer want to publish it. It still needs a lot of work but I also have other stories I can present." Fahsai said.

"I only want the story because I've finished reading it and I think it's great. The hero must be someone so special." The Chief guessed the hero in the story must be Daniel.

"Sorry to say this but Khun Daniel and I aren't an item." Fahsai cleared the air.

"That's even better because we have plans of making Dr. Kwan and Mr. Foie a shipping pair when our next volume launches." The Chief was happy much to her dismay.

As if that wasn't heartbreaking enough, Ramet went ahead and showed her the photoshoot pictures.
