"How did you get my number?" Daniel wondered how Dr. Kwan was able to contact him.

"I got it from Ramet and I want to discuss the magazine launch." Dr. Kwan said. "Also, the reporters may want to play matchmaking. Will that make you uncomfortable?"

"I don't have anyone and it doesn't bother me at all. What about you though? I bet you'll be bothered as much." Daniel inquired.

"Trust me, I'm good with it." She relented and beamed over the phone. "How about we get together and discuss how we should react to the media?"

"Sounds good." Daniel muttered.

Thereafter, Dr. Kwan wasted no time returning her ring back to Dr. Eit.

"I'm breaking off the engagement and don't expect me to give you a reason for it because it could hurt you even more." She coldly told her fiance.

"What did I do wrong? We can talk about this...." Dr. Eit was adamant.

"I found a better man, a more suitable man. Let me warm you, if you want to remain the best doctor at my Dad's hospital, then don't even think of acting out in the public." She warned him.

"Remember one has to choose the best option for oneself, just like you chose me over Fahsai." She reminded him.

Chernming was over the moon that his big brother seemed to have improved a lot after seeing the doctor in Hong Kong.

"Tie loose ends so that we could go home." Tian Kong said before excusing himself to pick a call.

"We finally found the culprit behind Fahsai's kidnapping in Khao Yai. Someone with a tattoo neck and you know what that means. He works for Wang Foie." Tian reported to Chernming.

"The tip we got about Fahsai being with Daniel in Khao Yai also came from Mungkorn Thong. Tattoo neck wasn't ready to talk, so much for loyalty and they had no option but to sever his hand. It was just a scare to get the man to talk." Tian reported.

Daniel on the other hand, got visited by his mother.

"I'm trying to quickly finish up work in Thailand so I could go home." Daniel told his mother.

"If you're leaving your heart behind, then there's no point in going home." His mom relented as his Dad showed up.

"Even if there's only a spirit left in his body, he still must go home and fulfill his duty." He argued.

"We have a lot to iron out and I prefer to do that face to face. Everything I've done is for your best interest." Dad said.

"I should have listened to you." Daniel lamented.

Tattoo neck showed up at Mungkorn Thong's domain with a severed hand.

"What do you want to do now since Chernming knows it was your father had been the one to order his man to kill Fahsai. You know him, he'll surely tell Fahsai about it." Chern Piu was worried for his Boss.

Chernming on the other hand was not slow in the uptake as he showed up at LOLA to see Fahsai.

Fai saw him and had a bone to pick with him. She verbally launched into him.

"You have the nerve to show up here, huh?"

"I apologize on behalf of my people..." Chernming said. "I promise that no harm will come to you." He brownnosed and said, "I want some of the sweet fish sauce from Nuch. Here, I no longer need to keep it." He handed a picture of him and Chern Piu to Fai since the two had cut ties.

Meanwhile Fahsai was vulnerable in her cabin, she wasn't handling the break up very well. She refused to eat and was spilling tears on her paperwork. When Chernming saw her like that, he drew closer and said, "I wish Daniel could see what he has done to you."

Suddenly, Nu Dee, the marketing girl walked in on them.

"Who's he?" She asked an introduction.

"He's a friend...." Fahsai said.

"I'm currently courting her and I hope to be her boyfriend in the near future." Chernming said and the Fahsai glared at her.

"I'm only speaking of the truth." He said.

Daniel was affected by the breakup too. He sat motionless in his office unable to get any work done. His Dad showed up unannounced and witnessed his son withering.

"Do we need to find another woman who looks like Botan so you could forget your little puppy?" He wondered.

"You're misunderstanding something, Dad. I don't love Fahsai just because she looks like Botan, but I love her because she's her."

"You love a woman who betrayed you and cannot be trusted?" Dad questioned.

"I'm working on forgetting her." He assured his father.

"Better hurry it along and don't give anyone a reason to call you an idiot."

However, he got cut short of his scolding when an employee fainted. Dr. Kwan happened to be around and gave the man a cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

"Why did you choose to be a cardiologist?" Wang Foie took a keen interest in her.

"For filial reasons I guess. Apparently, my entire family are doctors and we happen to not to have any cardiologist, so I stepped in for that role." Dr. Kwan explained herself.

"Dr. Apiwat must be so proud of a daughter who isn't only beautiful and smart, but helps resolve problems." Wang acknowledged.

Dr. Kwan invited Daniel to lunch despite his busy schedule. Wang urged his son to go and the latter knew what his old man was up to. Later, Wang Foie boasted to his wife that he had met a suitable woman for Daniel.
