Meeting Rias Gremory, ???

Teleporting to his bedroom in his mansion Haruta thought back to the meeting with Rias and her peerage and inwardly cursed himself for losing control over his emotions that easily.

"There's just something about her that really gets under my skin." said Haruta as he let out a sigh

"Haruta I suggest you try to calm yourself your emotions are fluctuating dangerously right now I shouldn't have to explain to you what would happen if you lost control of your emotions again, would I? I know what you mean though she rubs me the wrong way too even if you dont take into account all of the shady shit she has done she just has this aura or vibe about her," said Shiro with a sigh as he thought back to the meeting.

Flashback to earlier~~~~~~~~~~~

Opening the door what greeted Haruta was a depressingly dim room with two lamps as the only source of light.

"My name is Rias Gremory and the president of the Occult Research Club." said a woman with crimson hair that went to her knees and glowing blue eyes.

Looking around the room Haruta, spotted the white-haired golden eyed mascot of Kuoh Academy Koneko Toujou eating fish-shaped snacks in all of her loli cuteness, across from her sat the blonde Sasuke Kiba Yuuto sipping tea with a fake smile.

" You must be wondering why I have called you here today," said Rias trying to get Haruta's attention.

"Not really" answered Haruta in a flat tone. "I just want to get this over with so I can go home and read EPIC by Einlion I just came so I wouldn't come off as rude," said Haruta in the same flat tone stunning Rias because usually, everyone tries to flatter her and use flowery words to leave a good impression of them on her.

Not waiting for her to respond Haruta says " So what do you want I don't have all day for you to gape like a fish" causing Kiba to stop sipping his tea while Koneko just doesn't give a fuck about anything but her snacks so she chooses to continue ignoring their conversation opting to eat her snacks instead.

An expression of contempt that she thought went unnoticed by anyone briefly flashes on her face before quickly being replaced by a smile as she says" I just have a few questions then you can be on your way, it won't take up to much of your time only a couple of minutes at most" in a cheery tone

Sitting down on one of the couches Haruta asked" So what do you want?"

Looking around at her peerage minus Akeno Rias and her peerage stood up in front of Haruta and asked" Do you believe in the supernatural?"

Haruta pretending to be confused asked " Do you mean like ghosts and stuff? I haven't believed in any of that in a long time. Why do you ask?"

Moving in front of Haruta Rias and her peerage spread out their bat-like devil wings as Rias says" Because everyone here including the vice-president of the ORC are devils"

Haruta jumps up in fake shock as he says" Impossible does things dont exist you're lying."

Haruta moves back and stumbles in fear as Rias stepped closer to him. Seeing him running away from her Rias tries using her devil hypnosis on Haruta which fails as she says" Stop, I won't hurt you I just want you to listen to me."

Pretending that it worked Haruta calmed down as he stopped stumbling in'fear'.

Moving closer to him and cupping his face with her hands Rias said" The reason I am telling you all of this is that I want you to join my peerage, I want you to fight for me and be my servant now and forever, and in return you could have anything and everything anyone could ever want money, wealth, power, and even a harem full of beautiful women if you so desired."

She pauses to let everything sink in before she continued " So, what do you say? Haruta Endo, will you join me and be mine forever?" Her voice practically dripping with seduction.

All of a sudden the fear on Haruta's face was replaced with a cold look as the air in the room chilled to the point ice started forming on some of the furniture.

With, his eyes briefly flashing a purplish-black Haruta looked at Rias with a piercing gaze so cold that Rias felt as though she was trapped in a thousand-year-old iceberg never to see the light of day.

Calming himself Haruta said in a chilling tone that caused everyone in the room to feel even more fear" I tried to give you a chance but, you failed miserably." as an overbearing aura pressed down on everyone focused mainly on Rias.

"W-What d-do you mean?" asked Rias stuttering in fear as she stumbled backward almost falling.

Slowly walking towards her Haruta said "Since the moment I stepped into Kuoh I knew that this was devil territory and that you were attending school here so I decided to set up a test to assess your character and you Rias Gremory heiress to the Gremory clan of the 72 pillars have failed!!" as he stepped closer.'

Rias panicking not knowing what to do said" D-Dont you dare touch me!! My brother is the Maoh Lucifer if you so much as touch a hair on my head the whole underworld will come after you." fearfully, sounding more confident in her statement towards the end earning her a strange gaze from Koneko who had stopped eating her snacks at this point but seemingly not affected by the aura Haruta is releasing because loli is life and an almost reverential gaze from Kiba.

Hearing her words Haruta pauses as his hair covers his eyes causing Rias to show an arrogant smirk of victory as she said" I knew you were just all bark and no bite now kneel and apologize to me and obediently become a member of my peerage and I won't tell my brother what happened here today" in a condescending tone.

"President" said Koneko speaking for the first time "Something doesn't feel right" as her nekoshou instincts were telling her to run as fast as she could. Her instincts proved to be correct as the temperature in the room if possible dropped even lower to the point were even Koneko felt it this time.

With his eyes flashing from their normal colors to a purplish-black every few seconds Haruta uttered three words that caused all of them to freeze up unable to even breathe " You're courting death" as his power gushed out of him like an endless stream.

"Haruta! Calm yourself damnit! If you lose control now all of the progress you have built up so far will be all for nothing!" screamed Shiro from Haruta's sea of consciousness as he worked furiously to get Haruta's emotions under control.

Eyes almost completely pitch black Haruta suddenly paused and retracted his power as his eyes and the temperature returned to normal.

Looking at Kiba who was now standing between him and Rias even as he himself is shaking from fear and Koneko ready to fight him even against her better instincts Haruta sighed before teleporting away.

Present time~~~~~

Walking out of his room Haruta said "Albert I will be in the library bring my dinner there also contact Ms.Shitori and tell her I won't be at school for the next week or so." as a man in a butlers uniform appears from nowhere.

"Yes, sir I shall have the chefs prepare your dinner now, would that be all for the evening?" asked the head butler Albert who seems to be around 70 or so from the white hair on his head.

"I will be in there all night so bring me a blanket or something, and then when everything is done you and the other servants can retire for today." said Haruta.

"Right away sir" said Albert as he stepped into some shadows seemingly disappearing within them.

"Shiro it seems my stay in DxD will be more eventful than I initially thought" Said Haruta exhaustion seeping its way into his voice.

"Sigh, that may be the case, but look on the bright side at least it won't be boring" Shiro said with a laugh.

"I couldn't agree with you more." said Haruta with a light chuckle.
