The Leader, the law and the brave but stupid

"Oh my god….." Was what all he said as he saw the damage it did and some people nearby limping away while others were screaming in pain.

The 151 president, Atlas Eugene Hill, could only inwardly be freaking out as he had to calm down and collect his cool as his decisions could not be rash when he had the power to win a war for humanity or end it.

The audio from it already started to have sirens as police and ambulances along with firefighters of the nearest station, quickly responded and helped the civilians while also eyeing the huge structure.

"Get the national guard here right now! I want all branches of the military to be on full alert. Get the navy to be on extra waryness in the sea. Also contact NASA or S.E.T.I and ask them how this thing came without us knowing. And I want you guys to get every expert scientists, biologists, and any professionals in this area here!"

The president swiftly said as the people around him looked at him with mouths wide open.

"Come on people! Move it move it!"

The silent bunker instantly erupted into chatter as phone calls were made with the branches along with congress and the senate while some made phone calls to their allies.

"Mr.President, are allies are asking what is it!"

"Mr.President, are allies in Europe are wondering when you are going to address this situation as soon as possible!?"

"Mr.President our enemies are currently in full alert with Russia moving along with the Chinese's."

"Mr.President, congress is wondering…."

Soon enough, everyone in the bunker started to ask him questions and with no delay and stuttering, he executed his order swiftly and calmly.

People in here were smiling inwardly in having a calm and cool headed president who was holding it down and not making rash decisions as that could possibly make things go very wrong.

A right leader doesn't have to be only strong but also smart to make decisions for the benefit of his people.

His phone started to ring as he saw a secret service man stand in front of him with a briefcase. He placed it on the counter and looked at his president.

"Mr-"

"No. We still have millions of people near this location. Get thet damn thing away from me. And if someone ever shows me it without an ounce of evidence of us being attacked, your getting fired!"

He slammed his fist on a desk as he went to a corner answering his phone but before, his sectary of defense spoke

"Mr.President! I didn't know you being a nice guy to not only politicians but also to Aliens! We are currently under attacked"

The room fell silence as those words were spoken. Mr.Hill quickly came into the face of his SOD

(AN:SOD- sectary of defense)

"And what makes you say that?"

"Our citizens were killed and now some are going to live with disability's. Isn't that an act of war?! Even if they didn't do it on purpose to Are we just gonna let our citizens life be casualty's for peace? Even if they're friendly?"

"…."The president didn't speak as those words uttered by his SOD, was somewhat true. But that didn't mean immediate war.

"My orders are absolute, we will not strike unless striken."

"Goddamn we have been striken!" The SOD slammed his fist on the desk as he angrily looked at his boss while shaking.

"I understand your hatred. Your wife was currently there along with your kids…but remember, your were once a soildier, and a soildier follows orders." The president whispered in his ear before going to the corner with the phone near his ear.

"Hi honey…how are the kids."

"They're fine, how are you! Are you hurt! Did anything happen! What's going on! What is that!"

A spitfire of questions came through his phone as his wife asked him questions along with him hearing his kids cry out his name and wondering if he's okay.

"I'm okay. Luckily only a slight bump to my butt when I fell of the chair. Other than that, I'm all good."

He heard small cute chuckles from the other side of the phone as he smiled knowing they were okay.

A 10 minute phone call was what it took to calm down his wife as the First Lady was safe and it would've been more then 10 minutes if not for the fact that the president was needed.

He was quickly briefed on what things happened so far. The national guard was quickly deployed while making a 5 mile radius block to anyone not governmental.

The states also quickly enforced all their police to maintain some orders as to not let their states riot escalate more than looting.

He was also told that many people were injured along with the list of people killed.

He could only sigh at that information as he couldn't imagine those people living so peacefully and then next find themseelf…well he doesn't know.

What should he say? Find themself next to nothing? To their god? Death?

He shook his head as minutes passed by and saw how the national guard along with army and infantry came rolling in.

The president called for the army while it did make Congras raise their hand and point at him for deploying on US soil, they were only there for the safety of citizens, not to enforce laws as that was 'unconstitutional'

That's why the police played a major role as it could do what the army could not on US soil.

Another few minutes passed by with out any luck on finding what exactly it is. It could range from a reconnaissance object to a beam sending signals out that they couldn't detect

But what was most troubling and frightening, was that they couldn't detect it or know when it would appear as it just magically appeared.

He already saw some news articles saying a test went wrong with some top secret US technology. How the president wish they were right if they had this technology.

So far, the machines couldn't detect any radiation or any harmful substance radiating off from it. This meant that it didn't come from space which meant that teleportation was the highest probability.

If so, who did it? Did an alien civilization get wrong coordinates?

Pictures were also taken and they couldn't find any dents or rough edges indicating a door. It was smooth as a wall as reconnaissance drones and planes got pictures from above and it was the same all around.

More minutes went by as nothing major happened. The president kept answering questions from his allies and his government while also keeping an eye on the monitor.

And finally, when he side eyed the monitor, he gave it his full attention as a door appeared and out came two beings that were distinguishly not from this planet.

What was odd was that the camera couldn't see past them or see what was in their ship as white like smoke covered their view.

Like every where on earth, the bunker was deadly silent as they saw real life aliens. The trillion dollar answer to, Are they alone in the universe?

No!

Without any orders, everyone near the object became tense and instantly and extinctly aimed their weapons at the alien.

"What are they doing?! Tell them to stand down but keep vigilant! That's an order!"

"Yes sir"

The president was the first to break the silence as the infintary, lowered their tanks muzzles but the soldiers kept their guns close to them and their fingers close to the triggers.

"&:&/@•£{€}^#+[+'¥{+{=}^&,!;&,!:@-".'" The alien that appeared male, made the first move as he attempted to speak but instead of people feeling disgusted, they felt rather calmly hearing that voice even if they didn't know what he said.

"What! What did he say!?" The president asked and everyone shrugged as he got frustrated but calmed down as he knew it was a dream to understand a new language when there own wasnt mastered.

Back to the site, Kane spoke intentionally in a different language to sell this act out as everyone around looked at each other and back at them.

In front of everyone, stairs out of nowhere formed as everyone gulped nervously and held tight onto their guns as they descended down.

Finally Kane and the new female alien he created, stood on flat terrain as countless cameras captured their movement with scientist in the white tents went wild.

And then, one brave….or stupid person in a hazmat suit, quickly took the chance when the infantry was not paying attention, to run past them.

This quickly did not go unnoticed as one tried to grab her and pull her back but he was too late as he had to return to his post.

"Stand down soldier! Return right now! Leave her."

He heard the voice of his boss through his ear piece as he saw the back of the women now walking slowly towards the aliens with nervous footsteps.

Luckily for them, the person in the hazmat suit had a camera in her front chest as everyone paid attention to her point of view.

The president in the bunker, congress, the senate, even the people in the tents were nervously watching and getting astounded by their height.

The female was easily 8 feet while the male one was 10 feet.

Her footsteps echoed in every room this was being broadcasted to as her breathing started to get heavy.

"Easy kid. I know what your doing. You want to be the main character, and that's fine. But remember very important people are watching. Don't make a fool out of yourself. Also, don't die. It would probably make you famous though."

The girl in the hazmat suit chuckled at the thought of being the first to die due to an Alien.

It was her way of coping as this situation was bizarre as she was doing this. It was her chance to finally make a name for herself.

She watched as the male had his hands behind his back as they oddly resembled human except for their crazy skin color and bright blue eyes burning like blue fire.

Also along with them having a halo around their back.

"/&:@(@($/&/"-&;$;&-@/$€~*{+£#€?'&/@££~€{*#=[',~"

"I….." she suffocated on her words as the hazmat felt really hot and made her a bit dizzy.

'Fuck it' she thought as she started to take it off with everyone being bewildered and calling her crazy, and brave but mostly stupid

She took the GoPro off the hazmat and strapped it around her chest and adjusted it as she fixed her hair.

The orange hazmat suit was now on the floor as she was in pure white shirt and pants.

She panted while looking up at the aliens in amazement. Now….now what? What was she supposed to do now?

Communcate? She didn't want to act stupidly in front of thousands or in billions in the near future.

"&:&:$;$;$;$:&@-"-€}^^}*#+]=_¥\£]^{*#+]¥_£\€~^{" The male alien said as the blonde hair girl took a deep breath and pointed at herself

"Amy" she saw how the alien tilted its head and looked at her from above. She then started to make peace signs and thumbs up.

She smiled and pointed at the military while making peace signs.

Everyone from afar looked at her crazy while the president was about to rip his hair out.

But everyone froze as the male started to do something as they saw him stick out his hand and above his palm, something appeared.

It was a necklace with some sort of material that had a glowing blue object in the middle of it.

The male pushed it and it started to float towards the girl as everyone got astoundished on what just happened. Did he just make that out of thin air?

Did he use some sort of teleportation device?

Many questions appeared in the minds of countless people but they just all stood and watched as to how Amy just stood there and saw it floating in front of her.

She was about to reach for it and grab it but held back. Looking at the alien, he nodded as if he could read her worry's.

Taking a deep breath and praying to not die. She whispered what she wanted in her funeral if she died to this GoPro that was recording this.

She started to put it around her neck as it clamped down and saw how the blue light glowed.

The camera view kept switching as they saw Amy putting on the alien necklace from a soldier point of view and went back to Amy as she closed her eyes and opened them back up.

"Do you understand me, Organism?"

"I…..I….understand!" She said the last part in a slightly raised pitch as she looked down and back at them in astonishment.

The GoPro which recorded the view and audio, was transmitted back to the bunker as the president widen his eyes in belwilderment.

Meanwhile everyone else in on this broadcast, were amazed and somewhat speechless. Everyone couldn't believe what was happening right now

Was this really happening?

Did they finally make contact and talk with Aliens all on the same day?

Were the movies all along wrong?

Meanwhile they wondered if this…alien necklace was a translator and if so, how did it work? Was it like theirs or was it so advanced that it just needed to hear the language once and could fluently speak it without any errors?

"I understand….." she said confidently but lowering her head as she knew her place in this situation.

(So I'm thinking about making some chapters and seeing how it goes from there. There's always people who pick this up if I drop it but I hope some would like this idea.

Leave any suggestions on what I did wrong. Was the interactions with the political people right or wrong?)
