Chapter 17 Episode 16: Relationships

A flashback occurs as a ponytailed blond bearded Tenplar man and a blonde Tenplar little girl were walking on the road while carrying a log of woods on their back and discussing with each other.

"I've been a terrible person." The man said, "Your mother knew the risk of giving birth to you but yet, she still chose to do it anyway. I blamed you for a sin that wasn't your fault and made your life hell; I even went as far as giving you the name Killer bee as a curse for your mother's death and yet, you are still able to... to ... I'm so sorry..."

"It's alright, father." Killer bee said while smiling, "I've forgiven you a long time ago. I'm just glad that we were able to make amends and have a proper father and daughter relationship."

"You have a good heart and a beautiful smile just like your mother." Killer bee's father said, "However, life can be cruel and is capable of turning even the most kind-hearted person into a cold blooded monster. That's why i need you to promise me that no matter what happens, no matter what life does to you, you'll never let it change who are, neither will you stop smiling."

"Okay, father. I promise." Killer bee said while grinning with her eyes closed as she stretched her fist towards her father.

At the arena, Karma stared at Killer bee with an unamused face while Killer bee grins at her.

"I don't know what you are planning, but whatever it is, It won't make a difference to me." Karma said.

"Do you mind if i ask you something?" Killer bee asked with a smile as she placed her palm on her belly while facing the ground, "Have you ever been alone, looked down upon and despised by everyone, but yet when it seems that you are at your lowest, there is always someone to help you back up?"

Karma stares at Bee with confusion as Killer bee recalls Tenya stretching out her hand towards the 10 year old Bee (who happened to be cowering in fear while covered in blood and tears).

"I guess you don't understand, huh." Killer bee said, "I cannot back down when someone here just placed his faith in me and you can bet that I'm going to fight you with everything I've got even if it tears me apart!"

"Release!" Killer bee said as she removes her palm from her belly, creating a powerful golden aura that levelled the ground and spread across the arena, leaving many of the audience confused and amazed.

"Wha-what is this?"

"Is this energy coming from that Tenplar girl?"

" I had no idea that she was hiding such power!"

As Killer bee bends her head with her eyes closed, her body was emitting a golden streak of light while breathing out steam from her mouth.

"Let's go, Karma." Killer bee said with an echoing voice as she opens her eyes which was emitting a golden streak of light from her irises.

In a flash, Killer bee dashes towards Karma and attacks with a powerful drop kick which levelled the ground behind Karma to a great extent despite Karma instinctively guarding against it.

"What the?!!" Karma said within herself.

The force of the kick, quickly repelled Karma back and created a rift on the ground which caused her cough out spittle while in motion and left many of the audience in shock with what just happened.

"That damage came from a kick... That she blocked?" Sting asked within himself.

Karma quickly stabilizes herself but Killer bee appears behind her and lands a high side kick which Karma instinctively blocks but her arm began to shake in the process.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Karma asked herself while gritting her teeth.

Karma yells and quickly throws a punch with her other arm but Bee vanishes from the area and kicks Karma's face in mid-air which caused her to stagger away.

Killer bee shows up in front of Karma and lands an uppercut on her jaw and quickly appears above Karma in mid air.

"Gorgeyo: Miraimizuri!" Killer bee said as she drives the soles of her feet down on Karma's chest, pushing Karma straight into the ground and fracturing the ground in the process which made Karma to cough out spittle and left the audience dumbfounded with what they just saw.

"I can't believe it!" Trengal said, "Karma of the Dreygar tribe is being owned by Killer bee of the Tenplar tribe!! is Killer bee truly stronger than Karma?!!"

"Impossible...!" Hyle said within himself in shock while watching Karma react to invisible attacks, "How can an S ranked candidate like Karma be dominated by an A- like Bee?"

"She is not just using her crazy speed and strength in this battle..." Yulin said within herself as she witnesses multiple golden portals surrounding Karma along with Killer bee appearing behind Karma in a spinning motion, "She is also using her gates as well; Making it more difficult for Karma to track. No doubt about it, skills like this... Could easily rival an A+!"

At the Chiefs center, Chief Tenya stared down at the arena with her arms crossed while smiling.

"Looks like using my Gemini balance to place that hundred burden seal on your strength and speed really paid off." Chief Tenya said within herself, "I knew that If you train with that seal on you, your body will adjust to it and if it is removed then the increase of power surging through your body would be at an insane level.

Bee... I'm just glad that you were able to pick yourself up and fight despite what happened to you."

"That's right! You can do it!" Cloud said within himself, "Don't stop! Give everything you've got! Fight on! Fight on, Bee!!"

"Go Bee!!!" Cloud shouted.

With a battle cry, Killer bee's irises glowed as she charges towards Karma and began to deliver a combo of kicks at Karma from different directions.

"Set 4: Shadowless kick!" Killer bee said as she and 3 other images of herself, lands a straight kick on Karma's head from four different angles at the same time, causing Karma's eyes to turn pupilless and leaving her to fall forward towards the ground.

Killer bee quickly balances on her hands and lands a high back kick on Karma's chin which sent her high in the air. Multiple golden portals appeared in the air with golden streaks of light, attacking Karma and knocking her higher in the air.

"Killer bee is delivering a vicious combo at Karma!!" Trengal said, "She wants to end this fight right here and now!!!"

Killer bee appears above Karma in a horizontal spinning motion and engulfs her foot with a golden aura

"This will be the end of it!" Killer bee said within herself, "Gorgeyo: Ardica Nogaraki!"

Killer bee lands a powerful kick which created a strong air pressure that quickly descended to the ground and created a massive crater.

However, Karma appeared above Killer bee and lands a somersaulting axe kick that quickly drove Killer bee to the ground and created a larger crater than the previous one.

As the large dusts had cleared, the crowd became shocked as Killer bee laid on the ground while Karma stood in front of her with her arms crossed.

"Look at that, folks!" Trengal said, "Just as it seems that the match was about to end, Karma quickly turned the tables around!!"

"What the heck is going on?" Cloud asked, "Wasn't Karma the one that was losing the fight?"

"Not really." Pit replied while staring down at the arena, "When Killer bee removed her seal, she was a bit slower than Govo when he uses his soul drive and was nowhere near his true speed; However, she did manage to compensate herself by using her gates to make it difficult for Karma to track her... Or so she thought."

"What are you...?" Cloud asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't worry, you'll see." Pit said.

Back at the arena, Karma stared down at Killer bee as she groans in pain.

"What's wrong? Were you tasting victory?" Karma asked, "I've got to say despite it being annoying to let you attack me, it was quite fun watching you bask in your delusions with what i was faking."

"Faking...?" Killer bee asked weakly in confusion.

"Yes, faking." Karma said, "Come now, did you honestly believe that your increase in strength and speed made a difference to me? Everything you saw me doing the moment you got your increase, was just an act in order to give you hope and rip it from you."

This revelation left the Chiefs and many of the audience (except the teachers) appalled as they began to murmur among themselves.

"Yo, what the hell?"

"All this was just for the entertainment of breaking her? What kind of messed up thinking is that?"

"This is cruel, even for me."

"That Dreygar girl is truly messed up in the head." The shopkeeper said within himself.

"Humph, that's Karma just being Karma." Leorona said with her arms crossed, "She truly makes me sick."

"Bee..." Cloud said within himself with a worried expression.

Back at the arena, Killer bee's body was severely trembling as she stood on her feet.

"Oh? You still want to fight?" Karma asked, "You're really delusional, aren't you?"

"I am a warrior of Agaroth." Killer bee said, "I will not run."

"Hoh?!" Karma said with a raised eyebrow while smiling.

Karma sprints towards Killer bee and began to swirl round her, attacking her from all directions and causing her to scream in agony.

Killer bee drops on her knees and began to face the ground while breathing heavily as blood was spilling out of her nose and mouth.

"I-i'm not giving up." Killer bee said weakly while struggling to get up

Karma quickly lands an uppercut on Killer bee's jaw which sent her high in the air and caused her to slowly consciousness.

"Your mother died because of you." Killer bee's father's voice replayed in her head while she was falling, "You are not a blessing, you are a curse! I wish you were never born! I wish you had died instead of her!"

A flashback occurs as Killer bee's father was on his knees, hugging little Killer bee with tears flowing out from both of their eyes.

"I'm so sorry for everything I've done..." Killer bee's father said, "I don't expect you to forgive me... But please, if you can find it somewhere in your heart, then i beg of you, please forgive me...!"

Another flashback occurs during the rain as a burnt corpse laid on the ground with it's upper body missing. 10 year old Killer bee who happened to be on her knees, stared at the corpse in horror with tears were flowing out of her eyes.

"FATHER!!!" Killer bee screamed.

While still falling towards the ground, current Killer bee recalls as her 10 year old self was walking on the road while other Tenplar women stared at her with disgust.

"Traitor's daughter!"

"Scum!"

"It's in her blood. Her grandmother betrayed Agaroth, now her father; Very soon, it will be her turn."

Another flashback occurs as Tenya stood in front of a bloodied little Killer bee (who happened to be cowering in fear) against 7 Tenplars

"Seven grown ups, ganging up against a defenseless little child... Pathetic." Tenya said with a stern look, "You didn't show any backbone when our Chief abused his power to accuse this little girl's father of being a traitor and killed him off without any fair trial. You all just stood there and watched and yet, you have the gulls to call yourselves warriors?! No, you're a disgrace and as of right now, you cowards battle is with me."

Minutes later, Tenya stood in the midst of unconscious bodies with her fist raised towards a Tenplar crowd and her irises glowing.

"Listen up, all of you!" Tenya said, "I'm going to take this girl under my wing and protect her, even if it makes every Tenplar my enemy! And now that I've returned from my training at Dimension Lod, I'm going to challenge Chief Taru at the Goyiv festival and take that title from him!

Yes, I Tenya, the daughter of the Zorabath... the one who was framed of breaking the warrior's code of virginity and the one who many of you made to crawl underneath your legs as a dog, in order to save me, will become the next the Chief of this tribe and I'll correct the injustice of this tribe, along with the murder of my father and this little girl's father as well!"

"Bee, i was a failure in the past..." Killer bee's father's voice replayed in current Bee's head while she was still falling, "That's why I'd like to ask you not to make the same mistake i made. Please, no matter what happens, do not give up on people like i did and one day... Just one day, you'll have someone that will stand for you when you least expect it."

"Don't give up!!!" Cloud's voice echoed in the dark.

At the arena, Killer bee laid on the ground unconscious while Karma stared down at her with her arms crossed.

"Humph, what a waste of time." Karma said as she turns her back to walk away.

"Killer bee is down! Karma wi-!"

Trengal halts and stares in shock as Killer bee struggled to stand on her feet, leaving many of the audience stunned.

"What the...!"

"She's still struggling to fight despite the large gap in power?"

"What is she planning on doing?"

"Bee... What are you..." Chief Tenya said within herself.

"Cloud, don't you think this is a bit too much?" Rish asked, "If she continues any longer..."

Cloud, however, ignores Rish and continues staring down at the arena.

Back at the arena, Karma turns back to look at Killer bee and smiles.

"So, you still want to continue, huh?" Karma asked, "For an insect, you seem not to know your place."

"Well, this insect has got one last move and she is willing to use it, even if it tears her body apart." Killer bee said, "Gates!"

Multiple golden portals(which had a universe within them) appeared behind Killer and began to charge a golden light.

"I see." Karma said with her eyes closed while emitting a red aura, "Then i shall respond in kind. Tyrus salamander!"

A flaming red dragon suddenly appeared behind Karma and spreads it wings while roaring which shook the arena and left many of the audience in shock.

"Woah, what the...!" Trengal said.

The dragon began to charge a massive swirling red ball of light in it's mouth which was causing the rocks in the arena to rise and made Trengal's knees to knock in fear.

"I've only got one shot, so i better make it count." Killer bee said within herself with a determined expression.

"Here i come, Bee." Karma said as her red irises glowed brighter.

"Let us dance to the very end, Karma!." Killer bee said while grinning as her golden irises glowed.
