Qilin II
The necklace that Zhong Donghai wore became ash upon getting hit by the Qilin's powerful attack. It seemed to be a lifesaving trinket that will be consumed if the holder is faced with mortal danger.
The fact that it immediately disintegrated with one attack meant that the attack could easily kill Zhong Donghai. The aides immediately came rushing as they fetched their young master from danger as the Qilin wanted to use a follow up attack to finish what it started.
One of the aides carried Zhong Donghai away from the reach of the Qilin. The others blocked the Qilin's attacks that are coated with lightning and fire attributes. Zhong Donghai fainted from the shock of the attack and the aides could only signal their retreat as their master is injured.
