Chapter 3: do I hunt penguins now?
Sokka left his tent with his coat on, determined to fulfill the special quest he had, and this was to catch a penguin.
As ridiculous as this quest sounded, he had to complete it to receive experience points and some other rewards from the system.
"Any tips for catching a penguin?" Sokka asked, looking at his sister, who raised an eyebrow rather strangely.
"Okay, you're definitely very strange" Katara crossed her arms, keeping her eyebrow raised, now her suspicions were confirmed.
"First of all, why would you want to do something like that?" The girl asked confused, since it was not a very common activity for her brother.
"I'm wondering that too," Sokka sighed, if it weren't for the fact that it was a special mission he wouldn't even bother, "I'll be back in a few minutes."
After those words Sokka left, leaving Katara even more lost than she was. Her brother was strange since the accident.
"But I'm not complaining either, he's less unbearable that way" Katara shrugged, watching her brother leave.
Sokka walked for a short time, until he reached an area where there were several penguins, "There are too many, this will be very easy"
When he took the first step closer, the penguins seemed to sense the danger, and immediately began to move away.
"Shit, I talked too much" Sokka sighed and started running to catch one, which slid over an ice cliff.
"If you think you're going to escape, you're wrong!" exclaimed the boy with a smile and slid down too, in search of the penguin.
The penguin took advantage of his slippery body to gain more momentum, which Sokka could see, "I think I have an idea, will it work?"
Sokka took out his boomerang and threw it towards the penguin's paws, making him lose his balance, "It worked perfectly."
Sokka took advantage of that moment to catch the penguin. However, the cliff saw its end, 'Shit, here comes the fall' he thought and sighed.
Both he and the penguin fell into the water, which was quite cold. Sokka used his free arm to return to shore with the animal.

"Not bad, although you have complicated my task a little" Sokka looked at the penguin smiling, leaving him free and he quickly left.
Sokka saw the main screen, an experience point (XP) counter had appeared, which marked a total of 10, which he now earned.
"I think with this I could buy things in the system store, if I remember correctly" Sokka hoped the prices weren't high.

Sokka looked at this screen, he had 10 stat points to increase in each slot, "The first thing is to level the lowest slots"

He now had most of his stats leveled out, although the intelligence value was four times higher, "That's good, isn't it?"
Sokka stood up, ready to return to the village. He hoped the coat would dry on the way or Katara would surely scold him.

The days passed quickly, Sokka carried out the daily quest every day, although strangely no special quest appeared again.

"Yeah!" Sokka shouted after running the last remaining kilometer. This was what he most wanted to achieve since the special quest.
Sokka had gone up five levels, so the store was finally open. On top of that, he raised each stat one point every day.

"This could be very useful to Katara, but there are also scrolls that tell stories from the past," Sokka commented, that could be useful.
But these cost up to more than 1000 XP, he needed to do dozens of special quests to achieve that many points.
"If I sell the old ship I might earn a decent amount" Sokka closed the screens, but first he had to return to the village.
