As the title implies, the story is about the journey of a blind child. First of all, I want to convey my confusion about the child's character. In the synopsis, he's kinda overbearing, vengeful, and that type of stuff. On the contrary, the chapters convey the kid as a bright, kind and optimistic kid. This makes me wonder if there are two different characters or is it just an overshadowing for something big that can change the MC's personality and I think you can imagine what kind of accident will that be. (I might be wrong because I confused it or there were not enough chapters. But this is what I think after reading the novels.) As for the story, the chosen character is rather intriguing. I personally want to understand what a blind person feel, think. What is their perception about the world? Writing Quality(4.8): Some mistakes are there, but you should understand the meaning. Well, I don't really care about grammar either, since it's not my first language as long as I can understand. Stability of Updates (5): Can't say anything right now, but it's stable for the first few days. Story Development (4): I can't describe it well, but something is ticking me off. Character Design (4): I explained my confusion earlier, but sure, the main character is interesting. World Background (4.5): Well, if you're an avid reader of hunter story, you should understand the world right away, just change it here and there. It's easy to read something you're familiar with. Imo, this book is worth the shot, especially if you like modern hunter type story.
I read up to 39 and then skipped through some of the chapters to the end since I decided to drop it. It's ok, but if you came here expecting something with similar quality to Supreme Lord: I Can Extract Everything, then you are in for a let down. The writing, story, character devolopment, world building, etc. just doesn't have that same magic. The story is passable. The characters too. The power system is cool but not anything special. The world itself is also interesting, but in no way creatively unique. It's a post dungeon-break distopia with human colonies and other dimentions. On a positive note, I think I was just spoiled by Extract Everything. The author has grown tremendously from making a lot of little mistakes and spending time on useless details, to spending his words well. Without the comparison, this book is pretty entertaining, just not astounding.
Great story…my only complaint is the authors use of the word ‘owing’ non stop…every time you use it in the story it drastically takes you out of the story. Instead change the word I to ‘due’ as In “he broke through ’due’ to blah blah blah” instead of owing. Idk it’ a minor thing that irks me. But amazing story!
This book made me wonder if God's Eyes and this book are related. Anyway, I am stunned by the author's perception of blindness. I know Hide isn't blind but the way he writes about blind people makes me amazed. As for world-building, power systems, and characters, you have to read it only then you can enjoy this book. For every reader, these things means different
Wow, once again it's grand... The story hooked me from the start, bringing me in and feeling the pain and anguish the ml had gone through and had to go through being helpless and not able to aid his family and sister. But then so much is left to be revealed and I just can't wait to know no. It's truly good and I really prefer this book to the second new one. As usual, the writing style and character design is good. Also, the story is developing well, bringing you to a nice flow of your read. Keep up the good work author... you have my votes.
This book draws you in right from the first line and keeps you hooked. Like the author's previous works, this book is an immersive read, and different from the rest of his books but the similarities include an intriguing story, a gripping plotline, and chapters that keep you craving for more. Impressive as always, Hiddy!!
Good story concept, the characters were well written and not one dimensional. MC has a weak to strong setting with a good pace of growth. The downside would be that it was hard to follow. The flow of the story wasn't very good. an example would be where the MC is fighting, but the writing would veer off topic multiple times. As a reader that visualizes what I'm reading, it's hard to read this. Got to chapter 221 before I dropped reading because of the writing. I would still recommend this book just for the other qualities being good.
This is one of the few books I've ever completed on Webnovel. It kept me in wonder at the world building, the excitement, the intrigue. This is a novel I recommend to many of my friends who read on such platforms. And a personal thanks to the Author. For giving me a glimpse of the world's and stories you've been captivated by.
I was really hopeful for this novel just based on the concept and it isn't the worst novel I've read but the writing quality leaves much to be desired. It just feels clunky. The word choice often feels weird and there are run on sentences in every chapter. Another problem I have is that everything feels way to coincidental. Like it's pretty normal for things to fall into an MC's lap but usually there's an explanation for why that's happening. Not in this novel. There are way too many unexplained coincidences and they make the story feel like it wasn't really planned out at all. Overall it's readable but I wouldn't expect anything too good from this.
