I almost did but your friend Ericka made sure that I won't forget it, ever, not again! I'll make up for the lost times, honey and I promise I'd be home often since I love you so much! Oh! dear, I'm really sorry!, Renaldo added and kissed her baby again and again.

Actually Ericka didn't just send the man a message but she barged in his office while in a meeting and scolded the man for forgetting his daughter's birthday. Since Ericka's combat skills is superb she passed through Galatea's security forces and roboguards. She even tried to shoot Renaldo with her gun just to make the man realize how lucky he is to have a beautiful and loving daughter. Though Ericka wouldn't kill the man, she just wanted to give some sense into him about family since she too lost her dad to another family. But Ericka's dad, Herman, made sure to meet and be with her daughter as much as possible. Violet never complained but in fact come with them in trips, night outs, family gatherings and dinners or special events. It's actually fun, a wonderful thing every time Ericka and her dad meets. Maybe it's not about being together all the time that is important but the quality time we give each other that matters. Ericka explained and Renaldo understood. He cried and remembered how his wife left him because of his busy schedules. And now his daughter is feeling the same thing his ex-wife felt when they were together. Renaldo doesn't want his daughter miss special occasions and him too so he will make the effort and make up for his mistakes.

Now, I'm here! I love you Honey. I always do! I'm sorry. This time I will try my best to be at home and make my baby daughter happy!, Renaldo said and hugged Ren again but this time the girl lifted herself up and Renaldo carried her like a baby. It's so cute, even Violet and the others present at the celebration rushed in to congratulate the father and daughter affection. It's so beautiful, Renaldo made Ren's birthday a big bang when fireworks lighted and popped like popcorn in the sky. That is why there's a heliship, it was ordered to light fireworks about 250 feet above Violet's backyard that even the neighbors appreciated the splendid rainbow colors like it is the New Year's. Maybe it is a celebration of a new year, a new day and new life ahead of Ren and her dad. And it's amazing! Renaldo hugged his daughter. Vlad and the maids looked up so amazed of the blinding lights. My mom and I are looking at each other too, smiling that the surprise birthday party is indeed a success. Thanks to every one for the effort and the love.

Thank you so much Ericka, you are so cool and I love you for doing this for me!, Ren said when she released her dad from the hug very happy, then came up to me. That's what friends are for! Thanks for the car too!, I replied and hugged Ren tightly.

Welcome Mr. Renaldo Galatea and friends, let's eat and happy birthday Rene!, Violet shouted and everybody raised their glasses of margarita, wine and sodas. Happy birthday, yeheeeyyy!!!!

Then we danced the night away. Vlad and some of the humanoid guards got drunk. Mom, Prise and Ren are still talking about clothes, shoes and many things. Renaldo and I are seated on the benches where you can lay down and relax while looking at the stars which are so bright at this time. Our part of the city is amazing because at night you can star gaze and enjoy the galactic scenery of northern skies and colors, it's so magical. Renaldo breathed the fresh air and sipped his margarita.

I never had so much fun in my entire life, thanks to you, Ren is so happy and I am glad she met you Ericka!, Renaldo smiled at me. It's the first I saw him smile, he always seemed serious and scary in his magazine photos and the picture hanged in their mansion the last time Prise and I were invited by Ren to join her to dinner, remember?

It's nothing Sir. I am happy to be Ren's friend too. And thanks for the car! Actually I really don't want to accept it but she is….very persistent!!!, Renaldo and I said the last two words together and laughed.
