Chapter 1: Moemon system

Jame wakes up. He looks around and doesn't recognized the surrounding area. He should have been sleeping in his bed inside his apartment, at least that is what his memory tell him. But now, he is inside a grassland, and he can see the forest far in the horizon.

'Where am I?' He thought.

At that moment, a 2d screen appear before his eye.

'What is this? Is this some kind of system that I often read about? Am i just get isekai'd??' This time, even more question spring up on his mind.

After reading a long wall of text, he close the screen and tear of happy fall from his eyes.

"Thank Santa Clause, this is the best gift for me. Summon Moemon"

At this moment, the 2D screen that showing the message shatter themself into piece and forming a familiar circle.

'Wait isn't this?' Before Jame finish his thought, a new message appear.

The screen immediately shatters and absorb to the circle as soon as it appears, though not fast enough for Jame to not catch it.

'Water, it's my favorite type too, is this really random? Is the rank Normal because it will be in its 1st stage, i wonder?'

After absorbing the screen, the circle shine in blue color, some bubble escape the circle to form a humanoid figure. The humanoid figure begins to take shape of a small girl with blue hair and golden eyes. The girl is wearing blue school swimsuit and the suit has a small tail behind. Then the summoning circle dissapear.

🐟: "Are you my master?" The girl softly speaks.

"Yes, I'm your master. As for name, does 'Mizuko' okay?"

The girl answer with a sweetly smile. 🐟: "I'm totally okay with the name, Master. Uhm your name is?"

'So cute.' 🚦: "My name is Jame Traffy. You can just call me Jame. And you don't need to call me Master. You can call me Onii-chan instead."

🐟: "Yes, Master. I mean Jame Onii-chan."

'Ah, she is so cute.' While think so, Jame headpat the girl.

[Answer: As a Moemon, Mizuko doesn't need to use MP or Stamina to use her moves. So her MP become unavailable and the Stamina can only be used for sprinting. User however might need those to use your skill.]

'Seem like there is still stuff that i don't know about Moemon and Moemon System huh. Well, it's my fault for jumping the gun i guess. Then, please tell me more about Moemon and Moemon System.'

[Answer about Moemon: Moemon is the cute girl version of P0ke M0n. Just like P0ke M0n, Moemon come with variety of moves and abilities. When summon by the system, Moemon will always be at the same level as the summoner with all of its ability. That Moemon will also have at least 4 moves. If Moemon level is not high enough to learn 4 moves, system will compensate with its egg moves. If it is still not enough, then the next will be TM moves and the final solution would be level up until all 4 moves is fill. However Moemon doesn't have 4 moves limit but the stronger version of the moves will replace the weaker one. For example, Water Pulse may replace Water Gun cause Water Pulse is stronger version with additional effect same with Hydro Pump but Hydro Pump might not replace Water Pulse because it doesn't have additional effect. After the naming process, the bond between summoner and Moemon will be established. With high bond, Moemon will gain more Exp. Point, chance to survive at 1 HP without knockout, chance to recover from status condition, chance to dodge enemy attack and chance to land critical hit. However, with low bond strength, Moemon might disobey your command, chance to attack ally, chance to inflict berserk on itself and chance to leave the summoner. When Moemon's HP reach 0, it will return to her summoner soul space (if the Moemon doesn't abandon her master that is), and the summoner can summon her back after 24 hours. Outside of that, Moemon will always be with you.]

[Answer about Moemon System: The Moemon System was developed by Appstart - God of Status and Job. By received the system, your job will be locked to Unique Summoner. This job can't be removed until the system gets removed and you can't gain 2nd job. Unique Summoner will start with 1 familiar at level 1 and gain 1 more familiar per 10 level. You and all of your familiars will share experience after the battle even if they don't participant in the fight. At level 25, a shop item for Moemon will open. You can trade real life money or mission point (Mi.Po for short) for item such as held item, TM, Mint,...]

'Appstart?? But i thought that, haiz never mind. The more you care, the more you lose. The important information is that I can summon another one at level 11 and i can buy stuff at level 25, when i have 3 Moemon at that time. Let's stock up money and mission point until then.'

🐟: "Uhm, Ma- i mean Jame Onii-chan. Can you stop headpat me now? I detect an enemy nearby."

🚦: "Sorry, i feel so good i just keep touching them unknowningly. Does it feel bad?"

🐟: "No, but i need to focus to protect Ma- i mean Onii-chan"

Jame let out a wry smile. 🚦: "Okay fine, just call me whatever you want."

🐟: "Understand, Master-nii-chan."

Jame does a facepalm. When he about to said 'please don't combine them like that', Mizuko has turns around, facing ahead and let out a soft 'Grr'.

[Mizuko used Growl. Wild Slime's Attack was lowered]

Jame look at where Mizuko is looking. A cute gray blob is heading to them. When it enters Jame's vision, small window pop up.

'Typical enemy in any Isekai huh. It has Low rank so it should be weak right? There is no way Rank: Low is stronger than Rank: Normal right?? I hope i not wrong'

[Answer: User, you are not wrong. Low rank is indeed have lower stat than Normal rank. Though the higher level low rank will still stronger than Normal rank. The order of the rank from lowest to highest is Pathetic, Low, Normal, Super, Ultra and Master.]

And with that the small girl run to the slime and Tackle the slime.

[Answer: Monster egg that can't move or child monster that have no skill. They might come with high rank monster protect them so if you spot one, be careful user; you have no detection skill after all.]

🐟: "Master-nii-chan, look look, a slime core". While said so the girl return and show me a small gray gem in her hand.

'Is that like slime's drop a something?'. 🚦: "Mizuko, you can keep it, you defeat the slime after all."

[Answer: Yes, that's a drop from slime. When you defeat a monster, their core will drop, serve as a proof you have defeat them. Some monsters in Normal rank or above will have other item drop include with their core and monsters in Pathetic rank don't drop anything.]

'D*mn, Pathetic monster is such a trap, they get protection from high rank monster and they don't drop anything if you kill them. Why are you want to hunt them in the first place?]

[Answer: To gain exp.point. After all the Low rank monster need some easy way to earn exp.point. Depend on race, the exp.point you gain from the monster egg or the child from high rank monster will yield you at least 100 exp.point. Some Tamer might even try to catch them so that they can become their trainer them.]

'I think I just got a glimpse about the cruelty of this world. I'm glad i'm a Summoner and not Tamer. I don't want to become a kidnapper after all. Also i think i forgot something important'

After quickly look at the system message, Jame and Mizuko head out to fight the two slime.

🚦: "Let's go Mizuki, after this battle, we will level up to lv2 and become even stronger."

🐟: "Yes, Master-nii-chan"

But unlike Moemon who can use these moves with no cost, user will need to pay the cost to use them.]
