I can already see that while reading this novel will be hard to keep my suspension of disbelief with the oblivious MC.

Great story with good potential, I especially like how its actually the mc's own talent instead of some bullshit treasure or godly technique that just allows mc to instantly become op when in fact they are just trash.I just hope webnovel chooses to continue it

Great read so far overall. Really recommend this book if you want a not trashy cultivation novel. Characters are rounded and indepth and they progression of the story is excellent. My only qualms would be about the world background but we only have 40 chapters to read from.... In conclusion, read this book because it's good.

To be honest, I found this story quite interesting and unique. The background looks great, the character description and plot is good. If one could continue reading this, a good ending probably awaits. However, there is one thing I cannot stomach in this story. It's good if the MC is careful and steady but I noticed that the Sect Master is too stupid and wasteful. Considering that their sect is a beginner one, he should be able to manage their funds and aim for the greatest benefit. I'm quite disappointed with that but overall, this is a commendable book.

Great Novel. The summary is really lacking compared to the real thing. This would be a awesome comedic slice of live novel, if it where not for the fact that there is a lot happening in the background and building up suspense. I love it. MC is very dense and quite lacking when it comes to social skills, but at the same time his common sense is very alien to others, which means that almost every interaction with him is a giant misunderstanding on both sides, which lead to all kinds of funny situations. The MC is the genius of all geniuses, but his understanding of the world he is now living in can best be described as non existent. On the other hand the sect he joins only wants him to increase their numbers in the beginning. Apparently you need 8 disciples to become a third grade sect :). Therefore they try their best to insure he stays and pretend to be a lot stronger than they are. MC is the one who finances the sect unknowingly, but they give him fake or embellished Cultivation techniques to keep him occupied. Problem is MC is to much of a genius and turns trash into gold, so they have to come up with even more impressive looking things to keep their image as supreme experts.

Somewhat similar to another trial read I'm the MC but why can't I cultivate? Atleast what it seems from the title and synopsis. ............

Idk why theres a lot of bad reviews, but my two cents are that I really liked it. Like a lot. My only qualm is that there could have been an extra few paragraphs near the end of the last chapter, after they win, detailing the aftermath so as to make it feel less rushed.

i have read a lot of xianxia novels and i usually don't finish the whole novel and when i say this it has a good plot , it keeps you interested throughout the whole book. the ending was satisfiying and good . read it. it is fulfiling you won't regert it.

First thing first... if you don't wanna get spoiled then don't read the chapter name or heading.... Trust me. It spoils more than enough... 😔

Great story, funny at some points and with good developments. Its a good read to turn of the brain and enjoy. The end was a bit rushed but ok.

It's a great story and a fun read in my free time. It's a story that tries to be cool yet funny at the same time and it succeeds in doing so. The characters are fleshed out and properly built thus giving the feeling of a more realistic character. The story isn't as cliche as others since it doesn't rely on a suspension of disbelief in order to make a scene more dramatic with sudden powerups that come out of nowhere. Overall I believe it's a great story.

Su Changyu is the best character in a novel i have ever read, theres not a single instance with him that is boring and uninteresting. the rest of the Qingyun dao sect all give their own flavors as well, unique very well developed characters whom all grow through the story, the world building is quite satisfactory but could be better. Just read it, you wont regret
