A brother that loves his sister

The knights quickly shield themselves and the few maids screamed as the training field was suddenly covered in flames and ice.

The two people fighting in the middle were prince Akeem and Eden. Akeem was laughing like a maniac as Eden was in some sort of trance. Both of them were dressed in armor and were gripping onto swords.

One of the knights started to push everyone back as another just watched in amazement. Quickly shielding themselves when another wave of fire burned the grounds. While the other side another ice blast covered the grounds in an icey thin coat.

"Should we stop them?" one of the knights asked as they watched Eden and Akeem slash swords at each other.

" And how in seven gates do you expect anyone to do that." the other knight asked. He looked at the scene before him. Both men were endlessly fighting. Showing no sign of slowing down at all as waves of flames burned one side of the ground and the other was frozen. " You know how the young master could get when he fights. No one calls him the Icy Grim Reaper for nothing."

To think. The young man was only twenty years old and already had this much power. He wasn't even at full strength now. It's almost frightening to think how strong Eden will be. It was the reason why most of the knights were afraid to even go against him. There were only a few people that could evenly match their young master, after all.

"But I didn't think that the Prince Of Elov could be so dangerous." the other knight said to himself. "I thought they said that he was a lazy prince."

"Just because one is lazy doesn't mean he isn't capable." the other knight said while he watched Akeem's eyes burn up." In fact, I heard that he could probably set a whole kingdom on fire if you gave him the right incentive." The knight said in fright.

"Not even our Crown Prince could compare to Elov's prince." another knight whispered as he swallowed heavily.

A big huge grin appeared on Akeem's face as he attacked Eden back but the younger man stood his ground. Eden's eyes turned white as they glowed brightly as more snow and ice burst from him.

"Wow! Not bad, kid." Akeem laughed. He quickly shielded himself as Eden slashed his sword at Akeem. Sparkles of ice and flame burst through the blades as Akeem laughed like a maniac which only made Eden's eyes glow brighter.

Akeem pushed Eden back. Eden quickly found his footing as he held his sword in front of him. His expression got darker as Akeem smirked. 'Brother-in-law's magic has become very dangerous. I never met an ice and water user that could keep up with me the way he does.'

Akeem twirled around his sword as he held it in front of him. His golden eyes glowed brightly as flames covered the sword. Eden looked like he was ready for another attack as well but he stopped. Akeem noticed a dark expression on the younger man's face.

Akeem arched an eyebrow before turning around to see a young woman dressed in a light pink short sleeve dress that was covered in flowers. She was carrying a tray of juice with a huge smile, walking towards the training grounds as if it was a another day at the park.

'What the hell is this?' Akeem thought. He looked over to Eden who had calmed down. The young man was frowning deeply, as he stuck his sword in the ground. He leaned against it as he blankly stared at the knights and the girl. Akeem walked over to Eden who was now looking at him. "Know her?"

"My sister. She is the crown princess too." Eden said with a shrug. Akeem arched an eyebrow as he looked at the girl. She was smiling at the knights as one or two of them started taking food from the tray.

"Is she aware that it is very dangerous to be at the training grounds without any armor?" Akeem asked Eden.

Eden sighed. "I told her that a thousand times but she won't listen. Also, the knights think of her as some kind of savior or a breath of fresh air." Eden said.

"Not close?" Akeem asked.

"Nope, not at all. I get along better with my other sister. She lives in the Sunflower Mansion and I often go see her after training or if I don't have much to do" Eden said with a frown. "She is leaving Valtis for good at the end of the week. I really wanna spend time with her."

"What's stopping you?" Akeem asked. He noticed that Eden gave him a dark glare which made him laugh. "I'm sorry. My most trusted attendant couldn't make it and I had to make do."

"You could've just stayed in the castle." Eden said while looking away from Akeem which made Akeem smile a bit. Eden pouted as he glared down at the ground. "You had more guards there. I want to spend my last days with my sister."

"Ah. So you're a young man that adores his older sister." Akeem stated, which only made Eden shrug his shoulders.

"She was one of the few people that made living here bearable. My mother often focuses on Mila, my father is often busy and Mila…well I don't like being around her." Eden said. "The only time I could even take a break is at the Sunflower Mansion and if my cousin Daisy is there, it's even better."

Akeem laughed before looking at Mila talking to the knights. He noticed that Mila kept on looking over here which only made him a bit uneasy. 'Why in the seven gates is she looking over here?' Akeem leaned over to Eden and whispered. "I think your sister may have problems with her eyes."

Eden snorted lightly but he covered his mouth. " No. She probably wants to 'talk' to you."

"Ah."Akeem said with a deep frown. He stretched out his arms and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "I'm going to rest up. Don't wake me."

Eden cocked his eyebrow at Akeem as he watched him walk off. Eden shrugged his shoulders as he pulled out his sword from the ground. He stopped when he noticed that Mila was quickly coming his way with a tray of food. 'Ah. Damn.'

"Eden, where is the crown prince of Elov heading off too?" Mila yelled. He quickly walked over to meet her halfway so she wouldn't move any further. Then he lightly started pushing her back.

"Did you realize how dangerous that was? How many times do I have to tell you that the training ground is dangerous?" Eden asked her but Mila pouted.

"Where is he going?" Mila asked again. Completely acting like he didn't say anything to her.

Eden sighed heavily and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "His room. He said that he needed to rest." He placed his sword on his shoulder. He noticed Mila was looking at Akeem's back before saying. "Aren't you supposed to be doing your crown princess lessons?"

Mila blinked and smiled at him. "I could skip for today. I have been working really hard after all."

"You only started lessons for a day." Eden said to her. Mila just smiled at him. "You really shouldn't be near the training grounds. It's very dangerous."

"I have done it many times before." Mila said while she cocked her head to the side. She looked at the knights with a warm smile. "And the other knights like to see me here."

"That's because they do anything for a distraction."Eden said with a small frown.

Mila looked at him with big wet eyes. "Are you saying that I'm a distraction?"

Eden just shrugged his shoulders."Yes. I am." Mila flinched as Eden put his sword by his hip. He looked back at Mila with a deep frown. "You really should get back to your princess studies."

"I said that I was taking a break. I could always make up for it later." Mila said while Eden blankly looked at her.

"You always say that and what usually happens, Mila." Eden asked as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. He watched as Mila's hands gripped the tray handles as her body shook.

"It's not that bad. I did pretty well at the ball." Mila said.

Eden groaned. " No, you didn't. Compared to the other ladies at the ball, you still were lacking in matters. Didn't you hear them talking about you?"

Mila glared at him. "They were just jealous. Theodore, Mother, and Logan said that I did very well. You're just picking on me."

"I'm not picking on you. I'm just …." Eden started out but Mila stormed off. He sighed.

"Eden! What did you say to her now?" one of the knights called out. Eden looked at the knights that were glaring at him. He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah. You didn't need to make our princess cry like that." another knight yelled out.

Eden sighed and blankly stared at the knights. All of them quieted down as he walked over to them. He crossed his arms and leered at them. "I just simply told her the truth. Do you guys think it's a good idea for the crown princess to be by the training grounds without guards or any armor?"

Most of the knights didn't say anything as he shook his head. Yet one of them spoke, there was always one or two that spoke up for her.

"She didn't know any better." one of the knights said. Eden looked at them with a cocked eyebrow. The knight was younger than most of the knights in the squadron. It was always the younger ones. "She just wanted to give us something to eat or drink. What's so wrong about that?"

"Not. In. The. Middle. Of. Training." Eden said to the younger knight. The younger knight blinked from Eden's sudden sternness. "Also Mila or our crown princess has been told many times that the training grounds are dangerous without armor and guards. So she should know better by now."

The younger knight frowned as he looked at his feet. The other knights didn't bother helping him. The young ones always came to Mila's defense and they always backed down when pointed out the obvious. The older knights know this and never say anything about it while the younger ones speak up.

Eventually, the younger knights will move to another squadron or they will eventually get Eden's point and never say anything again.

Eden looked over to the training ground. There were bits of ice, cinder, and smoking earth where he and Akeem once stood. Eden sighed as he shook his head.

He went overboard. That much is clear.

Definitely wasn't a good idea for anyone that wasn't a knight or to be armor less around.

"Hey, isn't that Lord Logan." one of the knights said while Eden tore his eyes away from the ground and looked into the distance. He frowned deeply as he watched the older man headed in the direction that appeared to be the main mansion. "He's probably going to Lady Mila again."

"Of course, he was going to see Lady Mila. Maybe he's here on official business or something." the other knight said with a sigh. The knights went off to the training grounds but Eden kept his eyes on Logan.

He arched an eyebrow when Logan made a sharp turn away from the Main Mansion. Towards the Sunflower Mansion. Eden frowned deeply.

Why does Logan want to see Abidemi?

This will be timed or it's supposed to time.

You finally get an idea how what Mila is like.
