Faerie Princess

Within a magic circle, a small Faerie started to materialise out of the objects placed within the magic circle. The items are what are used to give birth to Faeries. They require the wishes of the respective parents, a spoonful of faerie dust, a bucket of human blood and a basket of butterfly essence in order to create an ordinary Faerie and this amount would make around 10 ordinary Faeries.

The 'birth' of a Royal Faerie requires much more extravagant materials. They require the wishes of both Royal parents, a handful of pure faerie dust, a drop of blood from each faerie of the kingdom and a cup of Queen butterfly essence. This would only create one Royal Faerie.

Ordinary faeries are all very nice to look at, there is not one that has bad looks. Their hair can either be chestnut brown or a leaf green and their eyes would be a chocolate brown or an emerald green. The average height of a Ordinary faerie stands at around 3 foot 9 tall and they have a set of butterfly wings that are the colours of their own personalities. Their wings can signify a talent as well, as faeries that have 2 sets of butterfly wings often go onto to become important figures in the kingdom.

Royal faeries are different but better. They have beautiful appearances. Their hair is a platinum blonde and their eyes are an amethyst purple. The average height of a Royal faerie stands at around 4 foot 3 tall and they always have 3 sets of butterfly wings which shows that they are always geniuses within the Faerie race. Not very often a Royal faerie who has 4 sets of butterfly wings graces the Faerie Kingdom, they are said to lead the Kingdom to new heights.

The small Faerie opened her eyes which sparkled like jewels and held utmost curiosity in them. It had waist length hair which looked like the finest silk and was coloured in a platinum blonde, and stood at a height of 3 foot 7. A set of four golden-yellow wings sprung out from her back.

The sight of this Faerie brought whispers and gleeful expressions to the hundreds of Faeries watching the birth of a new Royal Faerie. The sight of 4 butterfly wings astounded them and it brought an uproar.

Gardenia Winterlace and Quinn Winterlace, the Queen and King locked eyes with each other. Their eyes showed pride and warmth.

The Faerie Kingdom was welcoming a new Royal Princess!

Royal Princesses hold much more status than Princes in the Faerie Kingdom due to their customs. The Faerie Kingdom is ruled in a Matriarchy, thus a Queen is more important than a King so obviously a Princess would be more desirable than a prince. What more was that the new Royal Princess had the legendary 4 butterfly wings that the Founder of the Faerie Kingdom had themself!

The small Faerie, or rather Minerva stood there quite bewildered at the incessant cheering and the happy expressions from the Faeries below her. She then felt both of her hands grasped and warmth flooded her entire being, she wasn't sure what this feeling was but it felt familiar and comfortable.

She looked up and saw two beautiful Faeries staring at her lovingly with their hands locked with hers. Breaking into a tearful smile, she at least understood who these Faeries were. It was quite obviously her Mother and Father.

Lying on a really comfortable bed, she sighed at how blissful doing things actually was. Her mother and father were very accomodating to her curious nature as that is how the majority of Faeries are, simply curious. She was a Royal Princess of the Faerie Kingdom or formally known as the Winterlace Kingdom.

The world she is in is called Niva. It is a world of magic and swords, heroes and monsters, and divine beasts that are far in the forests. The amount of races are uncountable as a new race could be hidden away out of sight, there are dungeons that are full of monsters but also fortune. It is a world crafted for the ones who like to explore. Every being born in the world of Niva is gifted with the [System] by the gods, which records their status and skills and also gives them a basic inventory. It is an easy way to recognise strengths and weaknesses.

The world of Niva is split into 4 factions. The Light which consists of all the beings born under the God of Light. The Dark which consists of all the beings born under the God of Darkness. The Neutral faction which consists of fence-sitters and people who cannot be bothered with the faction fights. The Nature Faction which are beings born from the Gods of Nature but are allied with the Light, the Faerie Kingdom comes under this faction.

She closed her book and looked in front of herself with an eager expression.

[Blessed by a God (Fairy God)], Being a Faerie born into the Royal Winterlace family you gain +10% in all attributes and an extra 20% in both Intelligence and Agility.

NOTE: Bonuses stack, e.g 50% increase in all and 20% increase in Intelligence results in a 70% increase in Intelligence.

Within the book she read earlier she learned what the attributes meant.

Strength determines the damage of the person's attacks, but it also signifies how much one can carry in weight. (1 STR = +0.5% attack) (1 STR = 1.5 kg)

Defense determines the amount of damage a person can take before hurting. (1 DEF = +0.5% damage absorbed)

Intelligence determines the thinking capability of the person and the amount of MP they can store. (1 INT = 25 MP)

Agility determines the movement capability of a person and their hands and indirectly affects movements speed. (1 AGI = +2.5% movement capability)

Speed is also an attribute but it is made from various attributes and statistics put together, like the amount of AGI or STR, or the amount carrying etc.

Of course these statistics for the attributes are specific to the Faerie race as the book was obtained from the Royal Library and depending on the race the bonuses will be much different.
