Pain

* Warning some death thoughts*

" I can't take this anymore.... This pain I need it to leave...."

The slice looked up and thought he would look at the horizon one last time. He started climbing the wall. Every grub he would take was another minute he didn't want to stay stuck in his thoughts.

"I'm almost there.."

The higher he climbed the brighter it became.

* 15 min later*

( I made it! wow.... I never thought I would've managed to stay alive this long.. especially outside the loaf wrap...)

He sat there in accomplishment. His eyes began to water again. His teeth clinched as he tried to supress his feelings. (Why do I keep feeling this way..I came up here for once last view but why am I taking this little accomplishment so high) The tears fell stronger and so did his feelings. voice began to crack and the knot in his throat made it harder to swallow.

"THIS WAS NOTHING! ALL OF THIS!" He yelled so loud the echos replayed his heart back multiple times..

"Looks like your having a bad day" said the peel

" Leave me alone... I'm done with this!" The slice turned around to apologize.

"down here " laughed the peel.

The slice of bread's eyes grew big in shock. Laying before him was a peel. The peel was bright yellow with some brown spots.

" Don't worry about me....I'm just waiting to finally be disposed of...Thank you for keeping me company" said the peel.

"I wasn't.... I'm here to end all things... my life has no meaning"..

The peel looked up at the slice of bread with confused and agitated eyes.

"Ya know... I haven't really been around the whole kitchen but in my short life I can say is that... I'm glad I got to feel the warmth of someone. I got to spend time with my family. I also got to meet you and see sadness"

" I'm glad I was an experience for you. save your life changing moments for yourself. They don't move me at this point"

" Fair said the banana but you know what would make it faster?"

The toast turned around fast again. The peel looked at the silver toaster at the corner of the counter.

"Go in there and it will be better for you. The pain will slowly go away. The bread eaters will enjoy you faster"

The slice thanked the peel then scurried to the plugged in toaster.
