Ninja Gamer Naruko

Naruko is, for some odd reason, resented by her entire village. Other than her Jiji, who wants her to be a boy for her safety? So she goes into isolation until she has to go to the academy at the age of eight. In isolation, Naruko quickly becomes addicted to video games and the internet that her Jiji introduced to her, but what happens when she wakes up and she has become a game character? Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or the Image used on the cover. There might be mature scenes, but much later in the book.

Level 2: Dungeons

(Naruko's P.O.V)

There it is! The thing all RPG players have dreamed of, going to their own dungeon! Getting a bunch of loot and killing all the baddies. "How do I go to the dungeon?"

[The dungeon is entered and exited through the use of two unique skills. 'Instant Dungeon Create', and 'Instant Dungeon Escape'. While using these skills, it will look like your body is meditating, but if people were to look closer, they would see all your muscles moving like they would if they saw how you were currently in the dungeon. So you don't have to worry about disappearing off the face of the earth. And the final thing is quests. These can either be given or randomly appear if you complete them. They give generous rewards so be on the look-out.]

"Ah, okay. How do I get these skills?" I asked. I really wanted to go to a dungeon after all.

[Quest complete: Listen to the tutorial

You have listened to the tutorial about all the things the gamer system can do.

Rewards: 1000 Ryo, Skill: Instant Dungeon Create, Skill: Instant Dungeon Escape]

"Well, that explains it," I mumbled. 'Show skills 'Instant Dungeon Create', and 'Instant Dungeon Escape'.' I chant in my head, a blue screen appears in front of me with the skills listed.

[Instant Dungeon Create: Create a dungeon for you to enter. Currently level 1-5, access to the Slime Plains, Beginner's Market, and Training Field. Entry cost for Market, None. Entry cost for Slime plains, 100 Ryo. Entry cost for Training Ground, none]

[Instant Dungeon Escape Takes you out of the meditative phase and into the real world.]

"Alright then, let's get changed and then become a dungeon crawler!" I shout. I scramble out of bed before rushing to the bathroom. Stripping my pajamas I take a quick, warm shower and dry off. Brushing my hair, I put it into twin-tails before slipping on a black tank-top and orange shorts. "Alright ARC, where should we go first," I ask.

[It is recommended to go to the Beginner's Market, and pick up the basics for dungeons. Like a weapon and armor. The training field is for leveling stats and skills. But we'll go there later.]

"Alright, then let's do this, 'Instant Dungeon Create Beginner's Market'!" I chant, and bright light coats me. It feels like I'm sucked away through a vacuum. When I regain my composure, I look around and see a huge market, much larger than Konohas, from what I've seen from my clones' point of view. "Whoa, ARC this place is amazing!" I couldn't help but gasp.

[Of course, now we need to head to a basic blacksmiths shop. We really only need armor and a basic weapon, but some training weights would also help.]

I wander through these streets, looking around in amazement. They had everything, potions (ARC said no, I already have a low budget of a poor 900 Ryo), all kinds of crafting materials, there were even these things called, 'Guns', that was SUPER expensive. I'm not even sure why they were in a Beginner's Market. While looking around and inspecting everything, a blue screen suddenly popped up in front of me.

[Through continuous use of observing things, skill 'Observe' has been created]

My eyes widened. 'Show skill 'Observe'' I chant in my head.

[Observe (1/10) 0%: Shows basic information about something. Currently only gives that name, level, and a brief description. Gets stronger as the skill levels up.]

What a great skill, this will help me from getting terrible gear. A little after getting this skill, I wandered to a blacksmith shop. 'George's Smithery' is what the sign outside said, I opened the door and saw leather armor lining the wall, along with weapons and some other things.

"Aye, what's a cutie like you doin' in a shop like this." I heard. I looked up to see a man with black hair and a beard. He was wearing a basic outfit, consisting of a long, white shirt and black pants. He had huge muscles that bulged under his clothes. Probably from years of working a smithy. "The name's George, I'm the smithy ere'. What you want?"

'This doesn't really sound like an NPC.' I couldn't help but wonder in my head.

[But of course. The dungeon uses the best of the best. We specially import souls, erasing their previous memories and just using their personality, and use them as NPC. It increases the immersion. We also use monster personalities from other dimensions to make them smarter.]

How awesome. But I also couldn't help but blush when he called me a cutie. After all, I've always been the demon brat. And that's what made me a shut-in. So compliments aren't something I'm used to. "I need a basic weapon, armor, and possibly some training weights," I say, he grunts and leads me to a weapons aisle.

"Alright, choose somethin'. They're all 100 Ryo, we got swords, spears, knives, you name it." I start going through the weapons, using my 'Observe' skill. Until I run into 'it'. Holding it just feels right, and I know this is my type of weapon.

[Tachi: Common

A basic Tachi forged by George. It is shorter than the Odachi. A very long sword at two and a half feet, yet light at the same time. Can be handled with one or two hands. +10 attack.]

"Ai, a Tachi then. Perfect for a pipsqueak like you. I'll even throw in a wooden one so you can practice. Alright, I already found some leather armor that'll fit you. Check it out in that room over there." He hands me a set of armor. A basic leather breastplate, leather vambraces, and leather greaves. They fit just fine If I say so myself.

[Leather Breastplate: Common

A basic leather breastplate, made by George. Provides good defense and is light. +5 to damage reduction.]

[Leather Vambraces: Common

A basic pair of leather vambraces, made by George. Provides good defense and is light. +2 damage reduction.]

[Leather Greaves: Common

A basic pair of leather greaves, made by George. Provides good defense and is light. +3 damage reduction.]

"It's perfect," I say, walking out of the changing room and to the counter. George goes behind and pulls out four metal bands and a book.

"Ai'. I got four adjustable training weights, from ten to fifty pounds. Just put your chakra into it to adjust it. Put them on your biceps and thighs for maximum effect. Along with a book on a Tachi style. Your total is 900 Ryo, and remember if you ever need to sell your materials my smithy is always open." He says. I pull 900 of the 1000 Ryo I have in my inventory and hand it over. I put the training weights on.

[Host is recommended to put the weights at twenty pounds each right now for optimum effect.]

I put my chakra into the weights until they all feel to be around twenty pounds. I also pull the book out to see it.

[Skill book detected: 'Beginner Tachi Kenjutsu'

A beginner book on Tachi Kenjutsu, it is a fluid method that uses fast slashes instead of strength. Uses deflection and parrying to fight.

Learning Requirements: 5 Str, 5 Agi.

Learn? Yes/No]

I tap the yes button and knowledge flows into my head about all the ways to fight and the katas for fighting with a Tachi.

[Skill learned: 'Beginner Tachi Kenjutsu'. Max this skill out to move onto 'Intermediate Tachi Kenjutsu']

'Show skill 'Beginner Tachi Kenjutsu'.' A blue screen pops up in front of me.

[Beginner Tachi Kenjutsu (1/25) 0%. A beginner technique to use the Tachi sword. Focuses on flexibility and speed, prioritizing deflecting, dodging, and parrying.]

I walk out of the smithy, I plan on making this my most visited spot, after all, I can repair gear and sell my stuff here. But I can't help but wonder if there's a different way to get Ryo.

[Host can input Ryo from the world, it doesn't have to come from the system.]

Oh... then I'll have to think of something but for now, it's finally time. "'Instant Dungeon Create Slime Plains.'" I watch as my Ryo drops to zero and bright light envelopes me, whisking me away to my first dungeon.
