Transmutation Is For EVERYTHING

After two weeks at the castle and training Hōhei was on the training ground walls playing chess with a magic beast monkey. While a rather large python like snake magic beast acted as table for the game. Meanwhile a giant hawk owl thing that can kidnap a person was watching the chess game curiously. You may be wondering what they are and how they've been acquired right? Well Meld wanted to see how far Hōhei could go with taming so he pulled some strings.

While Hōhei was presented with a lot of caged magic beast he only chose four and an egg. The monkey is called a Vassar, they are known to live in the more mountainous wooded areas and use earth magic. The bird is a Cotriss that petrified a local hunter with its needles that its race is known to fire before its capture. The snake is a King Grou, although rare they can be found in the Sea of Trees controlling a territory.

They are most famous for their poison, the ability to cloak, and to generally lead thousands of smaller snake magic beast. The fourth monster he chose to tame is a large panther like monster called a Night Stalker. The one he has is rare variant that is able to dive into shadows and is more gray than black. The egg his book took an interest in so he decided to take it as well to hatch it. Of course everything but the egg was violent or cautious of him at first. Although two of the five got beat into submission that the knights questioned how that equals taming.

Either peacefully submit or get beat down, that's the basics mainly for taming. Its like slavery in the second part but magic beast tend to follow strength so its also not.

The new companions of course have names the snake although young by monster standard's. Since its not even half the length of the full grown one that is about a hundred fifty feet long. Silva is currently only seventy feet long as she is a juvenile. Boric the Vassar of the group looks like a Barbary Macaques monkey from earth, small but mighty. Medusa the Cotriss is big enough to kidnap an adult male, she needed a lot of head butts to calm down. Moonlight the Night Stalker he needed kicked in the balls as he tried mauling Hōhei to escape. Kicking stuff in the balls ALWAYS works.

Otherwise the panther like monster acts more feminine than male, the ball kicking did not influence this. The egg well it is being carried by Medusa who has an impromptu carrier around her. Back to the chess game! Boric was looking aggravated at the mess Hōhei had put his pieces in. When he tried flipping the chess board he got a palm latching onto his face. Purple sparks threatening to transmute his head if he tries to angrily tie the game. Damn monkey is sore loser after learning to play.

This whole scene did raise questions though from his classmates that Kaori, being the most socialable. Decided to ask him why he thought a monster how to play chess during these two weeks.

Kaori: "Um Hōhei-san I've been wondering..... Why dud you teach the Vassar -, "Boric", Boric-san there to play chess?"

Akuma: "Because he may be an angry monkey but he learns weird things pretty fast. I mean he attempted to water a plant but ended up eating it. So teaching him seems fun in my opinion, also my monkey I won't share him. He'd probably bite anyways."

Kaori: "I didn't want Boric-san....."

Akuma: "Says the one who tried cuddling Moonlight because he looks cute."

With the nail of "wants cute things" tacked onto her Kaori left silently while her best friend Shizuku chuckled. She knew her best friend well and well seeing the crazy classmate tease her was funny. She knows he's either always blunt or just gave no fucks about most things, like when he'd look at clouds ignoring Kouki's lectures. Watching them leave as Kaori headed towards Hajime after noticing Hiyama and his flunkies escorting him. Hōhei checkmates Boric earning an angry screech and rock bullet fired off at him. Dodging the rock bullet lazily Hōhei got off the wall and headed towards the "training group".

His monsters following after Boroc had calmed down.

Akuma: "Moonlight go on ahead and scare those punks, crippling can be used as defense for or someone elseif needed~."

With those simple scary words part of his shadow darted off from shadow to shadow. Chuckling happily Hōhei can't wait to see what happens, waiting for his other companions to join him on the ground. Silva becoming some sort of snake scarf attachment as she slithered up around his shoulders as she can be rather slow in moving. Once everyone was with him they headed after the various groups and monster.

The scene they came upon was Moonlight dancing on top of Miyama and his flunkies. As Kouki was trying to tackle the monster giving him a mocking smirk. Kouki failing every time as the feline monster hated the teen, each step it took on the trapped bullies making them groan loudly. Sometimes Kouki landed on them in his attempts to get Moonlight. With his armor on that just made them hurt more. While funny Hajime left a worried Kaori behind as he left to join in on Meld's training.

He did get a good laugh in seeing the monster of his really only friend dance on his bullies. Along with screwing with Kouki. Moonlight finally stopped harassing the justice pervert and thugs once Hōhei arrived on the scene. Ryutarou, Kouki's best friend watched the feline dive into the shadows and retreat towards Hōhei.

Aluma: "Hey Ryutarou hows the justice pervert? Oh my I see my big kitty was "playing" with Hiyama and his friends!"

Ryutarou: "Kouki's fine just mad..."

Chuckling Hōhei grinned at the disgruntled hero who was dusting himself off after his little workout dance session. With a wave to the girls and a dead pan look at the bullies Hōhei left right as Kouki went off. Flipping him off he left to join Meld's training regiment.

Kouki: "Hōhei-san you can't let your monsters run around so freely like tha- HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! I AM TRYING TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT A PROBLEM!"

Akuma: "Going to the restroom unless you wanna stare at my dick, which if you did I would transmute your eyes into mush! Ya fucking pervert!"

Stunning Kouki who wanted to refute being called gay, but had missed his chance once Hōhei ran off. The hero really doesn't know how to handle this one classmate who is rather rude. He just wanted to make him see his ways and become a better person. Not the crazy American he is, he just WANTS him to be a good righteous uncrazy bastard. Why does he refuse to listen though?! He's just trying to help because he knows whats best for his classmate!

After training Meld held everyone back for couple minutes to announce something. This was unusual as usually they were allowed to immediately go get dinner afterwards. Hōhei was sitting on Silva as was currently coiled up watching everyone quietly.

Meld: "From tomorrow onwards, we will be conducting our practical training in the Orcus Great Dungeon. All necessary equipment will be prepared by us, I want to use the Magic Beast outside the capital as practice targets. More importantly, you must get your spirits up! Have a good rest tonight! Dismissed!"

After the announcement Hōhei hung back and patted Hajime on the head. As the poor guy looked up at the sky with dead eyes at the bleak future he is envisioning. The tamed Magic Beast lazing about till the two teens went to get dinner. On the way though Hōhei touched Hiyama on the shoulder unnoticed and transmuted it a bit, once the prick moved his right arm. Well it broke violently with the bones shattering throughout it simultaneously. With a pained wail from Hiyama, Hōhei walked off chuckling happily to himself for his handiwork.

Kouki was trying to figure out why the class bully was wailing, crying, and holding his arm. As he saw nothing wrong with it honestly. But as he touched it he realized all the bones in it were currently shattered beyond repair. Hiyama was going to lose his right arm.
