2B's POV

"I'm sorry, I can't seem to fight." whispered Creed

Blood trickled down his chin.

"Dammit." he groaned

He looks up at me and smiles, his teeth covered in blood.

"Sorry, but even though I can't fight, you're going to do your best right?" asked Creed

"I will." I said

Creed nodded and I could feel his body shake so he started to inhale and exhale slowly.

"It hurts a lot." whispered Creed, "Feels like, my lungs are burning."

"Calm down, take your time breathing." I said

He nodded and started to breathe slowly.

"Do you want me to carry you back to the roof?" I asked

He seemed embarrassed but he smiled and nodded so I carried him bridal style but I decided to take the path where there weren't many androids around so that Creed doesn't feel too embarrassed.

"I can't believe that I have this fucking disease." whispered Creed, "Do I have a reason for living now?"

"Shut up." I snapped

I stopped walking and glared at him, remembering what he told me a long time ago.

"Don't say that, you know that more than I do." I said

Creed's eyes widened a bit but he nodded.

"Sorry, it's just, hard." he replied

"Remember a long time ago, you told me that I had a purpose in life. You were my purpose of living, I was created to do one thing nothing else but you showed me purpose." I said, "You said that I had existential dread, where I don't have the purpose of living."

I tighten my grip around his arm.

"You have a purpose in life as well. I don't know how humanity became extinct but that doesn't matter because the fate of humanity is also in your hands." I continued

Creed looked away but he nodded.

"Sorry, it just slipped out of my mouth." he replied, "I'll keep living to pursue my purpose."

He smiled and I felt a lot better seeing him smile.

"Proposal, would you like a picture?" asked Pod 042

"P-picture? You've been taking p-pictures?" stuttered Creed in embarrassment

But I just nodded so Pod 042 took it and I saw Creed cover his face in embarrassment after the photo.

"How many photos have you taken?" asked Creed

"Quite a lot actually, more than you would expect." I replied

Creed's cheeks turned a bit red and he just smiled.

"That's cute I like pictures." he said

I smiled back and kissed his lips before walking up the stairs. When I got to the roof I set Creed down on the floor and he thanked me.

"I'll contact you if I find anything coming towards you." said Creed

"Make sure you stay here." I said

He nodded so I jumped off the building and double jumped and landed safely on the floor. I retook my position back at my platoon and everyone was on their guard. Ella and the others were busy trying to move the flyer back to the resistance camp but they were struggling.

"I have a small body, I won't be able to help that much." said Ella

"Don't worry we got this." said Argon

Argon, Ethan, Josiah and a couple other androids began to push the flyer.

"Where's Nines?" I asked an android

"He's back at camp, he said he's worried about Avery." replied the android

I nodded and I looked over at the woods.

"Stay here, cover me." I said

"Ma'am what are you doing?" asked an android

I began to walk towards the tree-line to check up on something.

"Incoming transmission." said Pod 042

"Put it through." I said

"2B what are you doing?" asked Creed

"I'm going to scout ahead." I said

"Without Nines? Wait there, let me come with you." he replied

"No I'll be fine." I replied

Creed stayed quiet for a bit then sighed.

"I can't see you once you get deep into the forest." he implied

"It's fine, I'll be back." I said

I began to go deep into the woods, following the tracks of the machines. I walked for about 20 minutes until my Pod picked something up.

"Machine life signs detected, proposal, climb up that tree." said Pod 042

I looked over at this huge tree which had collapsed so I jumped up and climbed onto it and began to walk up the tree until I got to the next tree and hid in the branches.

Ahead I saw the remaining army of machines but then I saw a machine I've never seen before. It was huge, like one of those goliath machines but bigger and it had a lot more designs to it.

I saw what I came here to see so I jumped down the tree and jogged back towards the City Ruins.

"What did you find?" asked Jackass

"Danger." I replied

"What kind of danger?" asked Jackass

"A goliath class machine but this one is much bigger." I replied

"Goliath class?" questioned Evan, "Never heard of those."

"You'll see one soon." I replied

"Transmission, putting it through." said Pod 042

"2B what did you see?" asked Creed

"A goliath class machine but bigger." I replied

"Fuck, this just went to shit." complained Creed

"It did." I said

But then I heard an explosion in the woods and I saw machines running out of the woods.

"Engage!" yelled Jackass

Everyone began firing their weapons at the machines, flyers came flying down and Creed began to pick them off one by one. Our squad on the roof using the grappling hooks began firing their hooks at the flyers taking them down.

But then I saw tanks come out of the woods but then I saw one of them start to aim it's barrel up in the sky.

"What is it aiming for?" I questioned

"Interpreting projectile." said Pod, "It's aiming at Creed's position."

I gasped but before I could do anything the tank fired and the roof of the tallest building exploded.

"Creed!" I yelled, "Pod transmission!"

"Understood." replied Pod 042

"Creed! Creed can you hear me!" I yelled

No response, it was dead quiet.

"I'm going to check up on Creed!" I yelled

I ran off towards the building and when I got to the roof I gasped as I saw Creed laying on the floor, blood trickling out from his head but I noticed that his right arm was gone, blood oozing out.

"Creed!" I yelled

I ran up to him and picked up his head.

"Scanning, his heart is still beating." said Pod

I looked at his arm and it was his prosthetic arm that was missing, luckily we can replace it.

"Creed wake up!" I yelled

I began to shake him but he wouldn't respond and I was getting worried.

"He's losing too much blood." said Pod 042

"Get a medic team!" I yelled at Pod 042

"Understood." replied Pod 042

I quickly took off my skirt and ripped it using one part of it to wrap up his arm and the other on his head.

"Creed wake up, please!" I yelled

Then I felt Creed's finger move a bit then he balled it into a fist. He slowly opened his eyes and he grit his teeth in pain.

"Creed!" I called out

"I, I saw it coming." he groaned

"Stop talking, save your energy." I said

"Dammit, I'm so useless." groaned Creed

"2B!"

I turned around and saw 12H run up to us with 64B behind her.

"We need to get him back to the camp." said 12H

"2B your skirt..." said 64B

"That doesn't matter right now!" I snapped

"Sorry, I'll get him to the camp." said 64

She picked up Creed and they all ran towards camp but Creed grabbed my arm.

"Stay, alive." he said

"Worry about yourself right now." I replied

64B and 12H took Creed away so I ran back towards the battlefield.

I saw that most of the battle was over and everyone was killing the remains of the battle.

"2B what happened to-"

He stops midway when he sees me and looks away.

"2B your skirt." said Nines

"I had to stop Creed from bleeding out." I replied

All the androids were staring at me and I was confused as to why.

"I'm going to check up on Creed." I said

I began to make my way to the camp but once I got there I saw all the humans looking at me and some of them began smirking at me.

"Where's Creed?" I asked a human

"Why are you looking for him when you got me?" he asked while eyeing me down

I was disgusted so I kicked his balls and he gasped in pain. He collapsed onto the floor so I kicked him onto his back and stomped and his dick and began stepping on it.

"Are most humans like you? Now I understand why humanity became extinct, it's because of humans like you." I said

He screamed in pain so I kicked his balls once more before leaving to find Creed. I entered the tent to see Devola and Popola wrap a piece of cloth around Creed's forehead.

"It ended?" asked Creed

I nodded and Devola and Popola finished.

"He's fine, he'll be able to fight in a few days. We'll get another arm for him." said Devola

Both of them left and I saw Creed look at me and he noticed that I didn't have a skirt so he looked away, cheeks pink.

"Uhh do you have another skirt?" he asked

"You humans cannot resist such lust can you?" I asked

"Sorry, it's just sudden." apologized Creed, "But what do you mean humans?"

"Nothing." I replied

"Did someone try to harass you?" asked Creed

I smiled and just hugged him.

"Let's just say that I stopped him." she replied, "How's your arm?"

He waved his right arm and looked a bit annoyed.

"If only I was fast enough." complained Creed

"You did good, I'm just glad you're alive." I said

"I'm glad you're alive." replied Creed

"I'll always stay alive for you." I said

"Of course you will." replied Creed while smiling

"Creed!"

I looked up to see Avery all good and ready to go standing in front of the tent.

"I'm fine don't worry ma'am." said Creed

"Your arm." said Avery

"It's replaceable." said Creed

"What happened?" asked Avery

"A tank, I saw it coming but I was too slow." said Creed

"Please take care of him." Avery sighed to me

"She is, I just messed up." said Creed

Avery sighed and nodded.

"Get some rest, Devola told me you might be up and running by tomorrow." said Avery, "I'm going out there to fight."

Avery leaves us so I just continue hugging Creed.

"Creed, Argon told me something." I said

"About what?" asked Creed

"He told me how you sometimes cried to yourself." I replied

Creed's expression dropped and he looked away.

"Sorry I was just really lonely and I really wanted to see you." he explained

I cupped his cheeks and kissed him.

"I missed you too, but don't go crying to yourself." I said, "It's not good for you humans."

"How do you know that's not good for humans?" asked Creed

"Avery told me." I replied

"Speaking of Avery can I see Gally?" he asked

I nodded so I quickly left the room and went to the room where 3 androids were guarding the front door.

"Ma'am." said the three androids

I entered the room and saw Gally sleeping in his baby crib. I gently picked him up, trying not to wake him up and made my way back to Creed's tent.

"Wow, he grew up a lot." said Creed

I handed Gally over to Creed and he watched as Gally peacefully slept.

"I wonder how he's going to feel since me and Avery aren't married." I said

"Married?" I questioned

"You don't know what marriage is? Avery didn't explain?" asked Creed

I shook my head in response.

"Marriage is when two couples like us get engaged so that they stay with each other for the rest of their lives. And if they have a child they become mother and father of the child." explained Creed

"Does that mean we can marry?" I asked

"Of course but I'll propose to you when I find the right time." said Creed

He smiled and it brought joy into my heart so I kissed him and patted his hair.

'I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.'
