2B's POV

Creed puts the flare gun away and hugs me tighter.

"I missed you." he said, "But get some rest, we'll take care of the rest."

I heard three gunshots and I looked over and saw three flares were lighting up in the air. The machines stopped what they were doing and looked over but then there was a loud roar and a battlecry. A whole army of androids came out of the buildings and charged towards the machines holding weapons, ready to die. All the androids were dressed up just like the resistance androids and I didn't expect so many androids to be here, neither did I expect a giant brown animal running alongside the androids. The first line of androids stabbed the machines and ran deep into the machine army, destroying everything in their path. Creed picked me up and ran back towards the entrance of the camp where Kong and a couple of androids were waiting.

"You must be Kong, take care of her." he said

Creed looks at me and smiles before he runs into the fray as he pulls out his sword from the ground.

"Creed's back!" yelled Nines

Kong picked me up and entered the camp.

"Creed's back!" cheered all the androids

"Every android who can fight, support Creed and the others!" yelled Anemone

Everyone began to pick up their weapons and ran out of the camp to join the fight.

"2B you're injured." said A2

"I'm fine, I need to help him." I said

"2B, stay here. We'll help him, you get rest." said A2

I sighed and nodded as she and the rest of the YoRHa androids ran with her except for 12H who was healing me.

Creed's POV

I shot my gun at a machine's head and stabbed another one who was running at me. But a spear flew right by my face and hit a machine who was about to hit me. I looked over and saw A2 as she summoned her spear back in her hands.

"A2, it's been too long." I said as I pulled out my sword

She smiled and we hugged.

"I hope I wasn't too late." I said

"You came just in time." she said

I watched as the remaining androids were killed by the androids.

"Creed!"

I turned around and Nines ran and hugged me.

"Oh shit Nines! It's been so long!" I said

I saw 4S, 8B, 22B and 64B approach me and hug me as well. I began tearing up a bit but then I realized someone was missing.

"Avery?" I asked

"She's injured so she's resting in the infirmary." said 8B

I watched as the androids who were living here greet the other androids and began cleaning and helping reset up the blockades.

"2 years was too long Creed." said Nines

"Sorry, I got lost for a year." I chuckled

"You really need to tell us what happened the past 2 years." said A2

"I know." I replied, "Oh the humans."

I pointed at the group of humans who looked at the machines carefully.

"He's their leader, Tristian. Apparently they woke up recently so everything that's going on right now is new to them." I said

I then pointed to my team.

"That's the team I made to find the humans." I said

I then pointed to Eda.

"And she's their leader." I added

"What's that brown thing?" asked 4S

I looked over and saw Pooh looking at the machine name Kong in a confused way.

"She's a Ussuri brown bear." I said

"Did you name her?" asked Nines

"Of course I did, but I couldn't come up with one so I just named her Pooh." I replied

Then Tristian elbowed me and pointed at something. I saw 2B walking out looking for me and I was going to run up to her but Tristian grabbed my arm.

"She's hot." he said

"Huh?" I questioned

"Damn, I'll go up to her and hit her up right now." said another man

"Nah she's mine, why would she go out with you?" said another man

I sighed and approached 2B, she saw me and ran to me but when I tried hugging her she slapped me across the cheeks catching me by surprise. But she immediately hugged me tightly and I could tell she was getting emotional.

"What took you so long?" she asked, "Why did you leave me alone for two years?"

"I'm sorry I'm sorry, I won't leave you ever again. I promise." I said

I hugged her back and she began crying onto my shoulder. I started slowly crying and laughing as well and I hugged her tighter.

"I missed you, so much." she whispered

"I missed you too 2B." I replied

"But how did you get here so fast?" she asked, "I thought it would take you a week to get here."

"We all ran, just felt like the earlier we got here the better." I replied

I hugged her and buried my face into her neck.

"I'm glad you came back." she said

We broke our hug and most of my team members were watching me, my friends were giggling and the humans looked disappointed.

"Where's Avery?" I asked

She leads me into the camp where Anemone, Gianna, Lisa, Operator 21O, Operator 6O, Devola, Popola and of course there's Jackass.

"Creed!" yelled Jackass

But 2B immediately stepped in front of me and glared at Jackass.

"Creed I'm so glad you're safe." said Anemone

Jackass groaned and backed off a bit while glaring at 2B. I shook hands and hugged most of them, even Operator 21O.

"Where's Avery? Is she okay?" I asked

Devola and Popola lead me to a tent where Avery was laying there on a bed. When she looked up she gasped and tried to sit up but I stopped her.

"Calm down, you need rest." I said

She rested but her eyes were still wide open as she looked at me.

"You didn't change at all, not even your hair." she said

"Hehehehe, I just know how to cut hair." I chuckled

"2 damn years, now you're finally here." she said

"I'm sorry ma'am." I apologized, "I got lost."

"I haven't heard ma'am in so long." she whispered, "Did you bring reinforcements?"

"I did this time." I said

"Good." she replied, "I'm glad."

"Get some rest ma'am." I said

She closed her eyes and nodded.

"I hate to admit, but I missed you." she said

I sharply inhaled in surprise but I smiled.

"Me too ma'am." I replied

I left the tent where 2B was waiting and I hugged her.

"Can I stay like this for a while?" I asked

"Of course." she whispered

I looked at her and she smiled, making me blush a bit.

"Didn't I say that you're going to make this up on the bed?" she whispered

I turned hot red causing me to avoid eye contact as she slowly lifted up my chin with her fingers.

"But let's do it after we're done with this war." she said

I nodded and she kissed me on the lips.

'Fuck... I missed this so much.'

I kissed her amazing lips as she used her tongue to dance around in my mouth. I didn't want it to end so I tried catching up but I guess two years of not kissing her ruined my skills, but her skills were the same.

She cupped my cheeks and pushed her tongue deeper, and I just tried to keep up but she dominated me and she began exploring my mouth. But I had to pull back to breathe and I panted as there was a strand of saliva hanging from our lips.

But then I looked over and I saw my team looking at me with interest. Josiah had a huge smile, Ella had wide eyes and George was just covering his mouth in shock. The others in my team were just staring at the two of us but I couldn't tell if they were trying to smile or looked surprised.

"W-what are y-you guys doing?!" I stuttered

"Who are they?" asked 2B

All of them got up and quickly ran away chuckling and chattering.

"Oh they're my team members I made to help me find humans." I said

"You need to fill me in on what you did." she said

"I know I will." I said

"Let's go shall we." said 2B

"Yea let's go." I replied

She grabs hold of my hand and we interlock fingers making me blush a bit.

"How are things holding up for you and the Resistance?" I asked

"Not good, we probably have 90 or a hundred androids left before you came with reinforcements." she replied

"I see, I'm glad we made it on time." I said

"I'm glad as well." she replied

We got outside and we made our way to what looked like a blockade but I think it's their first one.

"Creed!" called out Nines

"Nines missed you a lot." said 2B

"I missed him a lot too." I said, "I missed everyone just makes me feel like I'm back home."

"Even Jackass?" she asked emotionlessly

She looked at me and I could feel the eerie feeling she gives me whenever she's jealous. She doesn't like to admit that she's jealous and it's not fun to see her jealous.

"No no no. Not really." I replied

"Not really? Then there's a small percentage where you miss her." she said

"I mean no not at all." I quickly babbled

"Good." she replied

I smiled awkwardly and just scratched the back of my neck. We approached Nines and the others as they were carrying bodies of both injured or dead androids and machines.

"We did a number count and there's a thousand machines left to kill." said Nines

"You guys held and fought really well." I said

"It was all thanks to 2B's planning." said Nines

"But we did lose a lot of androids." said 2B

I looked around and saw a lot of androids either injured or dead, most of the ones who are able to fight were mostly from my group.

"How many more machines did you say were left?" I asked

"Less than 2,000." replied 2B

"It's going to be a hard fight, most of the android survivors here aren't even combat experienced." I said, "Sorry about that, I didn't have time to train them. Nor do I have the skill sets to even teach them."

"Argon told me you were very talented in swords." replied 2B

"Oh yea Argon, he's supposed to be here." I quickly remembered

"Creed!"

I turned around and Argon and Mia ran to me.

"Holy shit, where the fuck were you two?" I asked

"We just met with Josiah and the others." said Argon

"It must have been tough getting here." I said

"I was lucky enough for Avery to find me." said Argon

"I'm glad." I sighed in relief even though he's still alive and standing in front of me

"We have a lot of things to do right now, we'll talk to you later." said Mia

Argon and Mia ran off and I sighed.

"Argon also told me you weren't doing well." said 2B

That caught me by surprise and I looked down at the ground.

"I guess, 2 years apart from you really affected me in a way." I said

"I can't say anything about it since I felt the same way." said 2B

I didn't know what to say, I couldn't apologize neither could I comfort her.

"Even as an android, I understand your emotions." said 2B

Her statement shook me and I felt so inhuman.

"Is there something wrong?" asked 2B

"Nothing nothing." I said

'Has 2 years really affect me?'

I just shook my head to let it out of my mind.

"Do they have a leader?" I asked

"Not that we know of." replied 2B

"I'm going to need someone to scout the machine army right now." I said, "If we could take out their leader, it might save us some time."

But then something about me wasn't feeling good, like I was feeling sick. I ignored it for a while but I began coughing so I covered my mouth with my arm but I felt something wet come out of my mouth and when I looked at my arm, my sleeve was covered in blood.

"Creed what's-"

"I don't know, I think there's something wrong with me." I said

It felt like I was struggling to breathe and I began to feel dizzy.

"Creed, what's wrong? Your legs are shaking." said 2B

"I feel terrible." I said

"Pod scan." said 2B

Pod 042 began scanning me but I saw Josiah approach me.

"It's getting worse?" asked Josiah

I shrugged but 2B looked at Josiah confused.

"What's getting worse?" asked 2B

"His cough, he coughs time to time but recently he hasn't but now that he's coughing I guess something's wrong with him." said Josiah

"Analyzing, there's an infection that is inflaming the lining of bronchial tubes, which carry air to and from the lungs." said Pod 042

"What are you saying?" asked 2B

I had no idea what Pod 042 was saying but I knew one person who would know.

"Avery should know." I said

2B helped me up and we walked towards Avery and there she was sitting up on the bed.

"Avery can you explain what Pod 042 is saying?" asked 2B

Pod 042 began talking to Avery and her eyes widened.

"It's a disease, Creed you have chronic bronchitis." she said

"A disease?" I questioned

"Creed, this disease can't be cured." said Avery

Avery looked at me with sad eyes and my eyes widened.

"You don't have much time left." said Avery

I felt like I just fell into a world of darkness, silent and eerie.

"No cure..." whispered 2B

"No cure, but there are treatments you can take in order to survive." said Avery

I began coughing again and blood spilled out, 2B quickly helped me sit down onto a chair.

"Dammit." I sighed

"Creed you should get some rest." said Avery

"No, I'm fine." I said

"You shouldn't be doing anything reckless." said 2B

I wanted to help the androids fight this war but I knew that if I acted then it'll hurt a lot for me.

"Fuck. Fuck." I cried

"Creed stay here." said 2B

She held onto my hand and kissed my cheek.

"I'll be back." said 2B as she gets up to leave
