Creed's POV

"It's done!" yelled 4S

They were finished and Avery looked relieved. Nines and 4S finished up and sighed in relief.

"Let's go."I whispered

Avery looked up and raised an eyebrow.

"Do you have a plan?" asked Avery

"No, not really." I replied

"Then why are you in a rush?" asked Avery

"I just want to get this over with." I replied

"If we rush in without a plan, we're not going to be able to survive." said Avery

"There's no one there beside 2B and A2." I replied, "If you can come up with a plan before they find us then I'm willing to wait. But right now time isn't on our side and they'll find us before we even get somewhere with a plan."

"We can always use a diversion." said Avery

"No, the reason why they're there is because they know we found a cure, so they won't aim for us but they'll do whatever it takes to protect the hive mind." I replied

"Diversion won't work, then is there anything else?" she asked

"I didn't even think about other ideas." I replied

"How do you know time is not on our side?" asked Avery

"When I was retrieving your picture, something didn't feel right. Most of the Androids were in formation in front of A2 and 2B but after those two left they went back to their normal business." I explained, "But something made me feel like they were up to something. And I believe that when 4S destroyed the virus in Nines, they sent a signal like an SOS. I suppose they know the general area we're in."

"Then we need to move the entire village." said Avery

"That'll take too much time." I replied

"Multiple black box signals detected, approaching us." warned Pod 042

"What the fuck?!" gasped Avery

"Don't worry, we got this taken care of." said Pascal

"Huh how?" asked Avery

"We planted explosives in the entrance to buy us some time." said Pascal

"Smart thinking, but how are we supposed to get out?" asked Avery

"Through another way we designed." he replied

"Okay, get your people ready to move." said Avery

"No we'll be staying here." said Pascal

Avery stops moving and looks at Pascal confused.

"Why?" asked Pascal

"This is our home, we already ran away from our first home. We're not losing this home." said Pascal

"Pascal you'll all die." bluntly said Avery

"They'll all die if we don't leave and destroy the hive mind." I argued

Avery looks up at me then back down to Pascal.

"Fine, Nines, 4S we're leaving!" yelled Avery

4S and Nines look up at us confused.

"What's going on?" asked 4S

"We're leaving now." I replied

"But why in a hurry?" asked Nines

"They found us." I replied

"Then Pascal and the others." whispered Nines

"I hate it but they're staying here." I replied, "So it's up to us to save them by destroying the hive mind."

We got ready and Pascal led us to the back of the cave and pointed at a boulder on the floor. Avery and I rolled the boulder away, revealing a hole in the ground. We climbed under and into an underground tunnel system, it was dark and damp in there.

"Pod 042, shine some light and lead the way." I said

"Understood." replied Pod 042

We crept through the long damp tunnel for about 5 minutes until we heard an explosion in the distance.

"It started." said Avery

"The blockade won't hold if we don't hurry." I replied

We hustled through the tunnels until we got to a dead end with some light shining through from up top. I climbed up and pushed my way through some branches that were covering the hole. I helped the others get up onto the surface.

"Ready?" I asked

Everyone nods so we run to the factory to shut down the virus. We ran for 10 minutes until we went to the factory. I quickly scanned the factory but I didn't get anything but Pod 042 picked up two black box signals inside the main factory.

"Must be 2B and A2."

We quietly crept through the yard towards the entrance. The doors were still open from the time when the others came to rescue me. I was about to enter when Nines pushed me and Avery to the ground. A blast knocks all of us off our feet and when I looked up A2 was standing there with her red glowing eyes looking straight at us.

"Oh no." I mumbled

"Creed, Nines, I'll handle her." said Avery

She drops her gun and draws her sword out from her back.

"Captain..." I whispered

"Get Nines to the hive mind now, I'll hold her off for as long as I can." she replied

"I'll accompany her." said 4S as he summons his sword in his hand

They both charge at A2 so without hesitation I grab Nines' arm and run past them. Nines looks back at Avery with sad and scared eyes.

"Avery!" he called out

"Nines focus, you destroy the hive mind, we win and all of us will be safe." I replied

We ran up the long flight of stairs but when we got to the platform I slid to a stop. Standing in front of both of us was 2B.

"Nines." whispered 2B

I stood in front of him and drew my sword out from my back.

"Pod 042, protect Nines when he hacks into the hive mind." I order

"That's not a wise decision." replied Pod 042

"Pod 042, if I die you have to protect him." I replied, "So just do it, I'll be fine."

"Understood." replied Pod 042

"Creed are you sure?" he asked

"Nines."

I turned around and looked at him.

"Save 2B and the others."

I looked back at 2B and charged towards her as she ran straight to me too. Our swords collided and I saw Nines and the Pods pass me and 2B. 2B noticed and tried to go after them but I ran in front of her and blocked her path.

"You cannot pass 2B." I said

2B glared at me with her red glowing red eyes.

"If you want to pass you'll have to go through me 2B." I said, "And it won't be that easy."

She jumped up and threw her sword at me so I jumped to the side and dodged the attack. Her sword disappeared from the ground and reappeared into her hand.

"2B, I know you're somewhere in there." I called out

She ran to me and our swords collided. I tried pushing her but she stayed in her position, our swords still interlocked.

"I don't want to hurt you 2B." I groaned

'Yea, I'm not going to be able to hurt her in the first place.'

She pushed me away and back kicked me in the stomach and I crashed against a railing. I got up and we started sword fighting. She was fast so most of the time I had to jump and dodge her attacks.

'This is going to be a long day.'
