2B's POV

I opened my eyes, my head aching a bit. But then I noticed that I was in a pool of blood and two arms in front of me. I noticed that I was grabbing onto my sword but my sword was bloody. I slowly looked up to see my sword impaled in someone's stomach and when I looked up I gasped and nearly screamed. Creed was on his knees right in front of his face, his face all bruised, blood dripping out of his mouth.

'No...'

"Ah you're back..." he whispered while smiling

His eyes closed and he collapsed onto the blood and stayed motionless. I started shaking my head and tears came out of my eyes.

"No no no no Creed stay with me please." I pleaded

I picked up his head and hugged him tightly against my chest. I cried as I hugged him while shaking him, hoping to wake him.

"No I'm sorry Creed please wake up!" I yelled

My tears dropped onto Creed's face and his blood soaked my clothes. I felt pain in my heart, it felt like someone was grabbing it so I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"2B?" called out a voice behind me

Avery's POV

I collapsed onto my knee while clutching my arm.

'Damn it, I got careless.'

The tip of A2's sword touched my neck and forced me to look up at her. I noticed 4S trying to get up but fell back onto the ground.

"Avery..." he weakly called out

"A2..." I whispered

She raised her sword and was just about to strike when a gust of wind caused A2 to scream. She dropped her sword and clutched her head in pain and collapsed onto her knees. Her glowing red eyes faded away and her blue red eyes reappeared.

"Avery?" she questioned

I cried in joy and got up and hugged her.

"Avery what are you doing?" she questioned

"It's a long story." I whispered, "I'll explain everything later."

I got up and helped 4S get up.

"4S? What are you doing here?" asked A2

"You two know each other?" I asked

"Yes for a while." replied 4S, "We'll explain everything later but we have to check up on Creed and 9S."

That's when I heard a blood crying scream in the factory.

"2B." I whispered

We rushed into the factory and climbed up the stairs. But when we got to the platform I gasped and covered my mouth at the scene. 2B was on her knees, hugging Creed's head against her chest while crying. A pool of blood was under them and I noticed that a sword was sticking out of Creed's back and both of his arms were gone.

"Creed..." I whispered

I then remembered something so I rushed over to him and kneeled next to him. I put my finger on his neck and searched around for a pulse until I felt a faint beating. I gasped and pulled out some cloth strings.

"He's still alive!" I shouted

2B looked at me in surprise, her cheeks and eyes wet from her tears. I tightly wrapped the cloth just above the cut so that his arms stopped bleeding.

"Avery how do you know?" asked Nines

"Pulse, he has a pulse." I replied

I wrapped another cloth on the other arm.

"He needs medical treatment now or he's going to die." I said

I wrapped some cloth around the blade wound but I didn't pull out the sword. But then I heard multiple footsteps behind us and when I looked back all the androids were there, cured.

"What happened here? Where's Boris?" asked Anemone

Jackass looked horrified as she looked at Creed.

"What the hell did you do to him?" snapped Jackass

"Jackass right now isn't the time! He needs medical attention now!" I yelled

"I'll help." said Devola

"Me too." said Popola

They gathered around Creed so I gently pulled 2B away who was still silently crying so I hugged her to comfort her.

"He lost a lot of blood." said Devola

"We need the equipment back at the camp." said Popola

"Every medical android here goes back to the camp and gets them everything." ordered Anemone

"He needs blood." said Devola

"I'm the same blood type, I'll lend him some blood." I replied

"Luckily the sword wound didn't penetrate any vital organs." said Popola

"Is he going to be okay?" asked 2B

Devola and Popola looked at each but their facial expressions said it all and 2B collapsed onto the floor and started sobbing, I cried as I hugged her. Nines was also crying as well, A2 stood away from the group and had her back turned to us but the way her shoulders jerked up I could tell she was also crying.

"What happened?" asked Anemone

"It's a long story." I replied

"Explain when the time comes." said Anemone

"Anemone, Pascal and the others?" I asked

"I woke up and I had my sword raised up and I was about to strike Pascal but luckily I was able to gain consciousness. Luckily no one in the village was hurt or killed." she replied

I sighed in relief but I looked back at Creed's face. His face was still, blood stained his chin and lips. He almost looked, peaceful like he's sleeping.

After about 10 minutes of waiting and crying the rest of the androids came back with a bunch of equipment. Devola and Popola began to get to work by stopping the blood first. Then Devola strapped me up and started taking out my blood.

They moved Creed to somewhere dry so that he doesn't get soaked from the blood. Pack after pack, they took my blood and gave it to Creed. Every pack that was filled I began to feel drowsy so I drank water and ate some energy bars that I had to keep myself from fainting.

Nines and A2 were with 2B, comforting her but I knew they couldn't comfort her when they're sad as well.

"We're going to have to pull out this sword but carefully." said Devola

Anemone grabbed 2B's sword but 2B got up and stopped her. Anemone was confused but then seemed to realize what 2B was thinking. 2B's sword disappeared and reappeared in her hand, clean. Blood started flowing out so Devola and Popola immediately blocked it by putting on some bandages in it. They injected Creed with a fluid that stops someone from bleeding. Then they started to stitch up the stab wound.

"What are we going to do with the arms?" I asked

Jackass picked up both of his arms.

"It'll be impossible to reattach his arms since his bones are cut in half." said Jackass

"We can give him a robotic hand wrapped with his human skin." said Devola

"I'm not going to question how you're going to do that." I whispered

"Is he going to be okay?" asked 2B

"He's.." Devola paused

2B started tearing up again but Devola looked at 2B and smiled.

"He's stable. He's alive."

2B broke down crying in relief with the others. I sighed and rest my head on the railing.

"Let's get them to the camp." said Anemone

20 minutes later

"How are you feeling?" asked Devola as she took the needle out of my arm

"I'm fine, is Creed stable?" I asked

"Yes he's alive but he probably won't wake up for a couple of hours." replied Popola

I got up and left the camp where Anemone, Nines, A2, 4S, Jackass, Operator 21O and Operator 6O were sitting in a circle around a fire that lit the night up.

"Avery I think now's a good time to explain what happened." said Anemone

I took a seat next to Nines and nodded.

"Before I start I think 2B should be here as well." I said

A2 got up and left to get 2B. She sits next to me with the same sad face.

"During the mission to save Creed, there was an EMP blast. I hope you remember that." I asked

Some of them nodded, others seemed to have forgotten about it.

"Anyways, all of you were infected by a virus." I continued

Operator 6O gasped while the others sat there, awed.

"We were infected with a virus?" whispered Anemone

"Creed was their bait and we fell into the bait." said Creed

"So that's what he was trying to warn us about." said A2

"The EMP blast caused all of you to be infected but Creed and Boris didn't know. Boris was killed by A2." I said

A2 sighed and rubbed her hands against her eyes.

"Where's his body?" asked Anemone

"I don't know, we left it cause you were going to kill us so we ran away. But I guess you guys did something with the body." I replied

"Where was he killed?" asked A2

"In the cell Creed was held in." I replied

"There was no body in there, I passed it when I hacked the hive mind." said Nines

"Anyways we hid and asked Pascal to help us after we found 4S. We moved into the cave where you guys you know were in." I continued, "But we did get into a fray and we did clash a bit but we didn't want to kill any of you so we merely wounded some of you."

I looked over to the infirmary bay where a bunch of androids were there because of their wounded legs.

"After that we came up with a plan to have 4S hack into an android. So we were able to kidnap Nines thanks to Creed's precise plan." I continued

"Oh you didn't tell me about your plan for capturing me." said Nines

"Oh sorry I'll explain right now. So our plan was to separate the three of you since you're always together. But first we needed to get rid of the other androids nearby so we created a diversion. We planted bombs at the factory so that all the androids could go over there. From there, Creed used himself and lured the three of you to me. Creed knew 2B and Nines would be together all the time so he had me lure the A2 away by shooting at you getting A2's attention. Now 2B and Nines are chasing after Creed but Creed was leading you to a trap where we capture Nines which we were able to." I explained

"Did I hurt Creed?" asked 2B

"I don't know, he didn't say anything." I replied

"Retracing memories, Creed trips over and falls down and 2B smashes his head onto the floor but he commanded me to distract you allowing him to continue running." said Pod 042

2B's face shows signs of regret and sadness.

"2B don't blame this on yourself, it wasn't you who was doing it." I comforted

She doesn't reply but lowers her head.

"Okay so after we captured Nines, we had 4S hack into Nines. It took him 30 minutes inside but for us it took 5 hours." I replied

"4S, what did you learn from being in there?" asked Anemone

"Well, when I first hacked into 9S' mind, there was a display of each android starting from 2B to the YoRHa Commander. But at the end there was Creed and Avery but they attacked me so I killed them off. Apparently the virus forced the android to think that Avery and Creed were the enemies. I had to go through some security blockades but at the end I had to face off 9S and by killing him, I cured 9S." explained 4S

"So that's how you got the cure." said Anemone, "Well, let's hope this situation doesn't happen again. Everyone get some rest and I'll see you tomorrow."
