Chapter Five

After basically scaring Tiera and Shin somewhat, Tiera actually allowed the two of us to go to the kitchen area. She looked at Fenris and with a look of as if she's not about to watch some bad romcom ordered us to the kitchen. Which is funny as her reasoning is that, if her master truly does remember me from the old era that she'd be punished for being rude. Shin owns the place yet she's still suspicious of him enough to not let him back here! Honestly fucking funny as hell.

Pulling a seat out from around the kitchen table I took a seat while removing my mask. A cup of pumpkin spice hot chocolate appeared in my hands. Fenris pulled a chair out and sat in it a bit awkwardly, but her plague mist had receded leaving a burly fured naked woman. Sighing I rubbed my eyes with one hand before tossing a sports bra, black green lace panties, gray combat pants, and a gray tank top with a biohazard symbol on it at her.

"Put those on! Fucking shit you just reminded me of Veronica. Now I am forced to remember why I have some panties and bras in my inventory, fucking nudist dev trying to walk through a crowd street full of kids."

Chuckling wryly she put on the clothing which had an auto-size adjustment function. Honestly I think the clothes system is fucking around again, as looking at her it seems it decide something. Emphasize the DD cup breast. But honestly she now looks like a modern werewolf soldier. Scratching her neck awkwardly she looked up at the ceiling, the fur still showing bristling up in annoyance. Sighing I threw the awkward Boss Monster a bone.

"So why are you so damn attached to me enough that you immediately wanna jump my bone?"

Hearing my question she seemed to freeze up as her tail stiffened before seeming to deflate, tail drooping. Her eyes met mine as she debated if she should say it or not. Eventually she caved and decided to answer me truthfully. Her tail wagged slightly as she spoke in an embarrassed tone.

"It's childish for something like me but honestly it's partly because of my lore that you wrote, and because of how I've watched you through the death game. You literally wrote that each void monster has lived a LONG time even longer than the world itself. So a lot of us are plenty lonely and isolated when we have no mark to hunt. Also because I watched you in the death game with my sentience starting to develop. I watched you at your literal lowest and how you clawed your way to being at least acknowledged by at most ten people as a friend.

You were a developer stuck in the game cut off from most of your more valuable tools. Yet EVERY Player but like thirty treated you like you should've been a slave…. A tool to make their miserable life easier. Yet you did something they didn't expect you to do given your position. You sent a world announcement basically declaring a "Fuck you all I can't help you leave so stop demanding it, and I will not help selfish children so better fight or die." Then you teleported away, I followed you through my mark.

It was the perfect opportunity to strike but my programmed actions did not trigger. I watched you rage and break that forest before repairing it and breaking it again. You were just so more expressive that day then how you became… After that day it just looked like you were detached from everything, except for when we fought or you stunned me and ranted with self depressing jokes. I watched you throughout it all and tried so hard to banter back as much as I could as you reminded me of my kind.

So I found kinship with you in a way, a friend who I wanted to try and help but couldn't. Then it all just ended…. You disappeared for five centuries but came back! That I, under a lot of confused stares, abandoned my little spot of the void for the first time in a while. Some of my fellows have checked on us all throughout the week and actually expressed some kind things… even Hwen that bastard of a shark. A week of just watching you, playing with you, hunting and more like friends was just GREAT!!! So as you Human's say, "I'm a smitten bitch" I think that's right?"

Taking a sip of my pumpkin spice hot chocolate I listened to her talk. Noticing every small minute detail of change in her tone and body language. She was completely honest and tried hard to explain things more clearly instead of probably defaulting to "I like you, I wanna bang you, simple as that." Seeing this I cracked a small smile and felt a ping of small guilt for earlier. But I'm still gonna be petty and hold that statement against her. Setting my drink down I reached over the table and gently grabbed one of her still wolf-like hands.

Rubbing my gloved thumb over the back of it through the fur I just idly held it like so. Chuckling slightly at her dazed expression at the gesture, her tail audibly beating on the chair.

"Fenris that's a sweet kind of fucked up stalker like shit, however, thank you for trying your best to explain everything. As I'm pretty sure you wanted to just say you like me and wanna fuck. But do you understand where I'm coming from? Not as a Human, but as a broken and scared monster of war."

Her face scrunched up a bit while a yellowish green kind of blush slowly covered her face. Her slight muzzle had its lips twitching before she smiled softly showing off a bit of her fangs. Her eyes seemed to soften a bit as she leaned over the table and pushed her head against mine.

"Yes I would've just simplified it as such if I didn't understand exactly what you wanted. But watching you for so long and knowing you as I do I didn't want to make it worse. Many I've seen break from simply the kill, few I've seen still even remotely as stable as you. Few still stand strong while drenched in their own blood, you stand with countless knives inside and various wounds as if it's but a scratch. So very few can act like you, less so can still last as long as you. A monster forged by the fires of war and hatred, a monster who while hated still did his job to protect Player's as best he could. I do not wish to see you succumb to the damages of your life finally. You are my bundið merki, my potential eilífur félagi."

"Breaking out the Icelandic on me I see. But thank you Fenris, I think we will be just fine. Though I'm but a squishy High Human and you're a big bad Boss."

"*snoort* YOU SQUISHY? Fucker you are a damn freak of nature. I'm sorry but a Human just wouldn't tank literal rays of distentagration!"

"Fucking game developer… I love this way though."

"If you want to try that route then gotta ask real politely Fenris."

She deadpanned me and literally bit my fuck face for the comment. Before she stopped leaning over the table and gave a very serious look. This is highly amusing in a way.

"Make your bitch."

"..... That's not asking, that's telling."

".... Can we try being a couple?"

"Better, my bitch."

"MOTHER FUCKIN CUNT! Thanks though…."

"Welp what the fuck we do now?"

"No clue, never thought about this."

Grabbing my drink I diwn everything before chucking the cup it was in at Shin and Tiera. The rather plain looking styrofoam cup hit Shin's face and knocked him off his feet. Hah! Reinforced Styrofoam cup! Fenris chuckled in amusement as Shin hit the floor with a thud. Tiera looking amused but terrified at what just happened.

"So then Tiera what are you up to hmm?"

"Looks like being a rat Locky."

".... Wanted to tell you we'll be sending messages now. Then we sorta found you talking about stuff and looking nice together. Shin wanted to just barge in on your moment but I stopped him."

""Thanks, we'll fuck with him later.""

Responding in unison ne and Fenris looked very serious at the downed Shin. Suna and the kids who have been quietly to the side barked in agreement to fuck with him. Looking at Fenris I got up from my spot and pushed my chair back under the table. Walking over to the doorway and grabbing my cup before storing it away. Fenris following after me as her more wolf like feet padded along the flooring. She picked Shin up before throwing him like a ball back into the store front. Tiera though asked me something.

"Kaiser, what level are you and miss Fenris exactly? Shin is level 255 like master. So are you both the same as them?"

"Fenris is level 998 and has over a thousand skill type attack patterns. I'm level 1000 as I removed my level restrictions to better fight monsters like Fenris. I could also lift my skill level restrictions and they'd probably sky rocket in levels. My skills though? I have access to every skill even female and race exclusive ones as I'm a game dev."

"That's sounds interesting…. I'm glad your not like Shin and being so clueless about these things. Its honestly sounding like a disaster in the making with how open he is…."

Which its funny that this shop prevents skill and weapon usage but because I'm a dev, I just bypass Shin's settings. Thinking a bit I turned to face the pack, Fenris, and Tiera as I walked backwards.

"Oh right, do you all want an item box? I may have a way to give you one."

"Oh god fucking please yes Locky!"

"It would be convient…"

"Bark/Wafu/Grrr/Wan/Woof" was the various answers if the pack. One said something bad likely as momma bit her daughters face. Shrugging I highlighted them all in my vision and pulked up the dev console. Going through everything I found the command input line and started typing on the air a bit before entering the command.

"There you go you should be set up with one now."

The first to react was Fenris who immediately pulled out the gift in hers. It was all randomly generated so the fact she got a [Spiked Collar (Ancient)] was honestly funny as she equipped it very eagerly. Tiera got a Elven dildo that she hurriedly put away, Suna now wore armor made for Black Hounds, her kids all got bows or bow ties. Blinking I took a picture of that sight with the system, its honestly adorable. Turning back around we reached the store front and got out from behind the counter.

Shin fucking waltzed off as Tiera gave him an introduction letter, completely forgetting about his message. When he had fucking money now and that I would've actually paid for it if needed but no he just walks off. Looking at Tiera who seems to realize this as well she handed me one as well. But I actually sent a message after giving her a bundle of message cards. She seemed to quiet like them as when I handed her my message she sent it, the envelope like item just vanishing from her hands.

You may know of me from the death game as I was someone Shin sometimes met with. I'm letting you know through your student that I am now in this world. So is someone you very much want to see again. However, he sorta just wandered off forgetting the whole message thing so if you want to really confirm it. Wait. Let him remember to message you and you will have your answer. This item card and sign off should be a hint who I am though. Also I'm seeing about dating my tormentor, at her request.

Heading out of the shop with a wave as Tiera shouted to come by again for some tea. Me and the wolves all looked around for Shin. He's literally just gone. Shrugging I watched as Fenris turned back to her base form then turn back her clothes I have her still there. Her collar though stayed even when in her base form. Eventually with her back in her base form and sticking close to me we followed Shin's scent trial.

As we made our way through the wooded area we found Shin watching the gate near our camp. Seemingly entranced by the diverse assorment of people. Suna and the kids returned to camp to guard it as me and Fenris followed Shin silently. Because we followed Shin he wasn't yelled at till he was five mel from the gate. A guard pointing at the end of the line while glaring at shin.

Seeing me without my mask though the guard was processing my looks before gasping. His mouth trembling as he spoke.

"S-Such a glorious beard its better than the lieutenants! Ehem… I mean nice to see you Kaiser and Fenris, are you heading to the guild or orphanage?"

"Hey Siou, yeah we're heading to the guild with this dumbass, then well go to the orphanage. Somethings have happened and my fuckery senses are tingling, so I'm gonna adopt Millie."

Hearing that name the guard had a relaxed and happy expression on his face as he slammed a fist to his chest.

"She's a rather adorable Tiger Beasts and pretty helpful, as she voltuneers to help us at times with shopping. So on myself and my colleagues behalf thank you for considering such a thing. When you manage it please do bring her by. I'm sure some of the older guards and female guards would like to congratulate her. If that's all then please head on into the city after I check your companions papers."

His happy expression hardened almost instantly as he shoved a hand towards Shin growling "Papers, now!" Shin panicked a bit a hurriedly drew his introduction letter fron his pocket seemingly. Handing it to the guard who's look turned even more serious till I pulled my own out and handed it over. I know how valuable these things are, they're priceless enough to bankrupt an empire.

"I got one as well from Tiera so they're authentic but please do confirm it. We'll wait so don't worry."

"Thank you for your consideration Kaiser, many have tried forging these so we have to be sure! I'll bring them back as quick as possible so please wait here."

While he took them to get them authenticated I pulled out my guitar as this will take a while. Remembering the lyrics to "We Are Family" by Keke Palmer. As honestly I can already see how our little group will look like.

Strumming along I sing aloud while tapping a boot onto the ground. Fenris looking at me and giving a little butt wiggle before well doggy dancing. Shin is trying to stone wall as if he's not hearing me. I kicked him in the nuts as I suddenly crouched low and kicked my legs out doing that one Russian dance. He toppled over gloriously.

Some of the people in the que started tapping their feet along and clapping, the more colorful groups chuckled. Shin still down for the count.

Some children in the que and a few of the more closer people seemed to hum along or openly try singing along. One little Critical girl that was a Dragnil Lord even climbed her mothers shoulders and started drumming on the Dragnil womans head.

Since Shin was still down whining me and Fenris decided to jump onto his back. Guitar solo flaring a bit as I dipped it some.

Getting off Shin as he stirred to get up we walked around as I sung with Fenris dancing. Returning back to Shin shortly afterwards as the song was nearing its ending Fenris seemed to have something planned out. So with a little flare as giant fucking werewolf lady threw me into the air before catching me as I laid sideways strumming the last bit. Our voices synced as we sung the last bit together. The shock of some people was glorious just seeing Fenris change forms.

With that last bit sung out I was set down and Fenris chuckled a bit. Putting my guitar away as if performing a magic trick we took a bow. Fenris slugging Shin's chin when he tried getting pay back. The big werewolf lady looming over him with a snarl.

"Mine."

"Heh I see your little miss can change forms now Kaiser. She looks quiet pretty, so please don't gut me Fenris we're friends, right?"

"Your lucky I don't want to get these clothes dirty. Otherwise you be face planting for that rude look."

"She says thank you."

"No I didn't."

"Heh well whatever, thanks for waiting and the song. Here are your introduction letters back. Please have a good day."

Waving goodbye we headed into the city while guiding Shin to the guild. Once there we just sorta abandoned him as we headed to the orphanage. Fenris practically dragging me to it as she ran, had to stand on her back in a crouch as she literally refused to let my hand go. Backpacking was oddly fun.
