I have read the mtl for this novel. Author draws out the story making boring to read in the long run. Plus there are too many misunderstanding between mc and the female lead making it too complicated for the mc to resolve. Also the romance between mc and fml just suck.

I never really understood this whole thing about parents spoiling their daughters books. Is it some fetish? A paraphilia? Like if you're of legal age and don't have a criminal record. You can adopt a daughter and literally pamper her with attention and affection. Seriously, there must be thousands of orphans and they don't even want a rich and super powerful father, they are satisfied with a healthy human and ethically responsible relationship. You don't have to believe me wherever you live must have social workers taking care of it. Just don't mention that the idea came from the internet.

if the roles were reversed this novel would have never gone out. The mc is a beta who got raped by some cultivator who used some forbidden technique to forcefully take away his yang energy which wuold have normally crippled him (it won't matter since it says he has a system) then gone away and came later (after 4 years) because she got pregnant (4 daughters), all of this while talking to him like he is trash. Now he takes all this as if nothing and is fine with it. All in all a beta. P.S. before she cripples him he saved her life

Hypothesis the reason why in Chinese books daughters are so valued is to get back up the numbers they lost during the one child policy. That's or there's a whole bunch of pedophiles who write these novels.

At first it was good, but the more I read it the more nonsense it has become. Imagine Donghuang Ziyou didn't even knew Lin Xuan capability, how could that even possible for no to know that when MC is doing a lot of deed wherever he goes. Ziyou must already knew it, even if there is chance saying she is busy, she does have a lot of subordinate who can inform her everything that was happening to them. This is the reason, I dicided to drop reading this novel, it's also annoying a lot of thing that doesn't even make sense.

Really started strong was a great read but after about 480 chapters or so the translation changed the names of people, places, and skills. So instead of being able to read and enjoy like I used to, I now have to re-read each paragraph to make sure that I translate the translation with the old names that you are used to. So in honest opinion if you want to read this novel be ready for a huge let down before it ends and have to do some translations yourself. And message to the author going forward. Don’t change your translator mid story it is horrible to the readers who have been with you for a long time.

All in all i made it to chapter 2. I normally give at least 20 chapters of a read for a novel i choose to read. NoneTheless, this one i cant read any further. Why? Here it comes: Guy saves the girl, she r**** him, extracts his yand eneRgy so he cannot cultivate and is crippled. then she gets quadruplets and wants HIM to Take RESPONSIBILITY. the audacity. then she goes there and talks to him like he is tradh, she wonders why he is a „good for nothing and is wEak.“ Worse, the mc takes it like it is nothing. seriously?
