80. Tell Us More

"Yeon, I have a question for you."

Looking awkwardly around, Yeon nodded in response, not sure if he could take anymore inquiries. On one side of the class, barely any students sat and on their side, Stan sat beside him, his head resting on his palm and his elbow on the table for support. He seemed to enjoying the tension he was sensing on him and did nothing to help out as more and more people surrounded them.

"How does it feel to be fated to Stan? You must know a lot of people wish to be in your shoes."

Yeon laughed nervously. It wasn't the question that was the issue, it was the fact that it had been asked multiple times in different wordings that he couldn't repeat the same answer over and over. He threw a 'help me out' look at Stan who's grin grew wider in anticipation for his reply.

"It's nothing new...like an ordinary relationship..." Yeon responded upon realizing he wasn't going to get any help from Stan.

"Surely it's not ordinary at all. You two did meet in quite a romantic and extrodinary way. He was your night in shining amour that saved you from those horrid kidnappers..."

"Yes!" Everyone roared in agreement.

"As compensation of making us sit for this class, you owe us some intel..."

"Besides, a lot of us transferred to this specific day after asking around which date you two registered for the class..."

"Yes! Especially after being disappointed with a no show from Elric....!"

"Speaking of them, why did he not attend the class? Niel showed up alone that day. Did they fight already?"

"So soon..."

"What do you expect? Niel is no competition to the girls Elric has been with and spoilt with his loaded pockets...!"

"...And guys!"

Another roar of laugher filled the room and Yeon began to feel even more nervous. He could hardly see through the crowd any longer.

"They...didn't fight. They are doing quite well actually, don't you think so Stan?" Yeon shot his fated another look for help but he only nodded and smiled.

"Wow! I've definitely not seen Stan smile like that before!"

"Yea! Me too...!"

"Me three!"

Yeon tried to speak up to be given some space but his voice was swallowed up by the sound of everyone agreeing with each other.

"Hey guys quiet down! I have another question for Yeon!"

"Not again." Yeon thought.

"Rumour has it that you used to hate Stan so much. Is it true?"

"What? Really?" Another voice asked.

"Yes it's true." Stan finally spoke up. "He punched me once when I told him he's cute."

"Damn him." Yeon wanted to yell at Stan but he knew that is what he was after and as everyone's jaw dropped at Stan's confirmation. He raised his hand in pretense to pat his fated gently on the shoulder. "Why would I do that to a good looking guy like him?"

"So he is lying about the punch?"

"Not at all..." Yeon affirmed.

"Then why'd you do it?"

"Yes! Tell us why you hated him in the first place?"

"I...I don't..." Yeon began to feel cornered. "I just didn't like guys that look like him to begin with."

"Fuck! I'm going to kill you Stan for this!"

"Why?" Asked another voice.

"Be...because my previous relationships ended since I was cheated on and left for people with a face like his!"

"Really?"

"Is that why you always kept to yourself?"

"No...guys, I think I've said enough..." Yeon raised his hands in surrender, thinking to himself he needn't own any one an explanation about his life. It was the first time he'd felt cornered like that and didn't know how to handle such a huge crowd. He'd spoken the first things that came to his mind and had hoped if he'd speak the truth, they'd leave him alone, which had been a huge mistake since every word he uttered only heightened the excitement from the crowd, probing them to make even more inquiries... -and why was Stan leading them on!

"Yeon has a point! My boyfriend left me for Elric!"

"My girlfriend too!"

"I left my boyfriend for Elric, who wouldn't anyway when everyone knows he is such a gorgeous and generous lover!"

"My guy cheated on me with him too! I had my revenge and cheated on him with the same guy and I do not regret it one bit!"

"Whoooooooow!!!" The crowd roared in unison.

Yeon took the opportunity to signal Stan, seeing that everyone was distracted for a moment and Stan laughed at his desperation for escape.

"Tell us more!"

"Too bad, Elric doesn't do relationships..."

"Not anymore especially now that he's paired with that swimmer."

"I've had my eyes on him too you know..."

"Wasn't he dating one of the seniors, Mijin was her name..."

"Hey, I know her! I've seen her and Elric together. They were pretty frisky at several parties I attended."

"Damn, Elric sure knows how to have fun..."

"He is one lucky asshole to pair this early too..."

"That's not luck you idiot! He can't screw around anymore because of that!"

"No shit! You're right..!"

"I sure wouldn't wish to be in his shoes. He hit on the wrong guy and got beat up for it."

"But they seemed happy together a few weeks ago. They were even holding hands, chattering and giggling on like some real couple... I saw them. Everyone did!"

"Or Elric actually ended up liking that Niel guy."

"Perhaps he was screwing around with all of us to make him jealous or something."

"He imprinted on him dummy! Of course he'd go all lovey dove on the hot swimmer."

"But that swimmer guy seemed to look not so happy that day you know, which makes me quite suspicious!"

"He is on a scholarship in this campus. Where the heck will he get money to compensate Elric for beating him up? Of course he is not happy! He should have thought through before raising his hand on our Elric! And to think he bit him out of spite...!"

"Yeon!" Called out a familiar voice, stopping both Stan and Yeon on their tracks.

"Mora." Yeon said to himself. He'd recognize that voice anywhere.

"Is everyone here blind? Yeon is the most good looking of them all!" She spoke as her hand extended through the crowd to grab onto Yeon's free hand, then squeezed through to everyone. "Wow! Your eyes look pretty."

"What...?" Yeon responded as he let go of Stan and covered his eyes briefly -then decided against it. It was too late. Everyone must have already seen them. He wasn't about to get embarrassed of who he now was. He watched as everyone's eyes widened in shock at the sight of him, while others openly blushed as they looked at him that he almost thought he was letting out scent.

He glanced up at Stan who's face had grown tout. It was obvious Stan had a dislike for Mora.

Glancing back at her, he said. "I haven't seen you in a while."

"Yes me too, since our last conversation that is. I figured I'd see you today for I'm not sure when I'll set my eyes on you again."

"You're right...he is pretty indeed." Said someone in the crowd.

"How do you do that?" Another asked.

"He has a gift." Mora replied and looked at Stan. "Maybe that is why Stan wishes to keep him all to himself."

"Lucky Stan..."

"Yes. To have both Yeon's scent and his eyes..."

"He sure did know what he meant when he called Yeon cute." Spoke another, just aloud enough and everyone laughed.

It was then that Yeon realized what Mora had just done. She'd purposely called him out just so she can jeopardize his escape with Stan. "Was she here all along?" Yeon wondered.

"Stan and I were just leaving guys..."

Mora pouted. "But I wanted to have a word with you Yeon?"

"About what?" Stan cut in, startling everyone with his change of mood.

"It's about the support group. Both of you are seniors and once he leaves, what becomes of the group? It only began because of him. I wanted to request Yeon if he could give a final speech...or rather a testimonial if the group was helpful to him or not."

"But I hardly showed up...I only attended four sessions..."

"Meaning you still have six more to attend then. The welfare department informed me you needed to show up to at least ten in total. "

"What if I were to give the testimonial, will that sum up to the six remaining classes then? My final project has taken most of my time that I barely have time for myself..."

"And me." Stan added, sending everyone to roar in excitement as they clapped their hands.

Mora laughed at their reactions and looked behind her briefly before she returned her gaze back at Yeon. "You might want to discuss that with the school's welfare department Yeon..."

"...But aren't you the student's representative? You could speak on my behalf."

"That's true, though I'd feel bad. I was looking forward to having you attend the remaining meetings. Your presence does bring in new members and a huge crowd."

"Where can I sign up?" Someone asked.

"I want to enroll too..." Said someone else and as everyone began murmuring, Mora let go of Yeon's hand and gestured at the crowd behind her.

"See the importance of having you there Yeon. Everyone wants you there."

"Fine then. Make the deal on my behalf and I'll gladly give a testimonial...or the speech or whatever."

"Yeey!" Mora cheered as the rest clapped their hands mimicking Mora's reaction.

"We'll get going now then." Yeon said but Mora grabbed his free hand once more.

"Please pick up when I call." She smiled. "I have a tonne of things to brief you about okay?"

Yeon smiled back, noddin in agreement then finally, Mora let go of his hand and after they'd walked a distance, he glanced up at Stan and wondered why he was very quiet. It was unlike him considering how he'd just thrown him in the crowd moments ago.

"Why so serious?"

"I don't know. I just have a bad feeling. I know my intuition is not wrong since it's the same kind of feeling I got the night of your kidnapping, and the evening when we'd got back from the trip while heading home from the airport."

"Don't go doing stupid things again Stan. I won't forgive you this time."

Laughing, Stan replied. "I won't. I'm wiser now especially after you took special care of me so well."

"I'm serious Stan, I won't forgive you. Besides, you are just overreacting. I'm sure you got jealous when all the attention shifted from you to me."

Stan burst out laughing, bringing Yeon to a halt as he watched him bend over while holding his tummy.

"That's an annoying reaction. I see now that you were lying about my looks. To think I believed you, I'm the bigger fool here..."

"No...It's...not why I'm laughing..."

"Then what is it?" Yeon asked impatiently.

"I just....really...really love you. That's all there is to it."

"Are you planning on using that excuse all the time?" Yeon spoke as he began walking ahead, dragging a hysterical Stan behind him.

"Walk upright you prick, you're heavy! We can't be late for our meeting with Elric's mom yet again!"

"Okay Yeon. As you wish..."
