Eyes of Putrid

The group was left in shock after Anastasia broke the news, once they were told of the location disclosed to Anastasia, they went there immediately.

It was quite a crowd at Orole street, with press and Star City police at full capacity already.

It was still broad daylight as even bystanders gathered just behind the yellow tape, curious of what could have occurred at an innocent food stand.

The body had already been confiscated from the scene and en route being transported to the morgue before group one had arrived.

Martin stood over the outline left, fully divulged in thought.

"This person isn't part of his MO... this is a middle aged male, he doesn't even have blonde hair... What the hell is this then, is he trying to tell us something..." Martin thought.

Martin's assumption was correct, the man on the other side of the mirror remained incognito within the crowd of bystanders, waiting for the mouse to come out of its hole.

"This will make her have to come, then I'll be able to see her again—I even left a pendant like last time, so they'll know it was me..." The man thought, then was interrupted by an obnoxious photographer who was part of one of the many news crews on site.

"Woah, this is crazy right?!"

"Um... yeah..."

"I heard some maniac just attacked him in broad daylight... this city is cursed with mad men."

"..." the man didn't know what to say as he thought "If he only knew..."

Group one finally arrived at the scene after having to squeeze through the crowd as if they arrived at a concert late with front row reservations.

The man notices his target, Anastasia, arriving as the group approaches Martin.

"She came..." the man thought as he was withholding excitement after his plan was successful.

Martin disclosed the information necessary to catch group one up, then asked "So why would he kill this person then?"

"Maybe he did this because he wanted our attention?" Kaso guessed.

"Why?" Martin asked.

"Maybe he's trying to tell us something... Maybe he wants us to be here... I don't know what exactly it is but he definitely is trying to tell us something." Kaso said, simply pulling at straws.

"Why would he want us here..." Yuki thought, and instantly received a response from within.

"Maybe he already knows who you are and wanted to confirm something with you showing up to the scene, son."

"That means..." Yuki thought, basically having a conversation with his father's voice.

To which his Father rightfully responded with "That he's watching you right now..."
